Beautiful ocean view and lots of space!

I would recommend this house as it’s clean, spacious, gorgeous view of the ocean and plenty of sand for everyone. Also has a well equipped kitchen.

Wonderful Memories Made!!

Four generations gathered together for a week of making memories, enjoying the setting (beach and beautiful home) and celebrating our GG's 90th birthday!! Bailey's Place was the perfect getaway for all of us and we look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come!!!

Disappointing

House needs repair, BBQ was dirty and falling apart, no patio chairs, two of the beds are so noisy you can't sleep well. Dish wear is plastic, with a poor selection of stemware and cookware. The stove top is broken, not all burners work.

Great family Weeekend

We had the best weekend at Bailey's place. With our family of 4 grown children and their kids we need a lot of space for the group with private space for each family and this house for us perfectly. We will be back!

Great beach house

This is an amazing property. The beach is right outside your door. Lots of room for the family and plenty of board games. Had a wonderful vacation and will look to book again in the future.

Best beach house ever!

Everything about this home was perfect for our family getaway! One level open floor plan with lots of space was ideal with 2 little ones and the extra bar height table gave us room for adults to do a jigsaw puzzle. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Beds were comfortable & bathrooms were well stocked, above & beyond what most rentals provide. Sand & surf literally right outside the door and a beautiful walk in either direction. Quiet location but an easy walk to the Pelican and market. Absolutely perfect!!!!

Fantastic home but...

This home is in an ideal location! The home is laid out wonderfully for many guests and we had a lovely and relaxing time here. The beach is gorgeous! That being said, the listing is not completely accurate. The home is not brand new. It has a decent amount of wear and tear. It was not as clean as I’d expect from any rental home I rent, but especially during the pandemic. There were dirty linens in 1 bathroom and one closet, urine and toilet paper in one toilet and poor sweeping in many areas of the home. Also, the dishwasher needs replacing. It doesn’t clean the dishes and smells funky. I know this sounds bad, and it sort of was, but we had a great stay and I’d go back (after verifying it was cleaned properly and they have a new dishwasher). I just feel it is especially important to discuss the cleanliness, considering our unusual circumstances these days. My parents, in their 70’s, did not feel as secure as they would’ve liked to in this regard.

Great but not excellent

Had an amazing stay at this property. It’s right on the beach, so location cannot be beat. It is an absolutely incredible house, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. Got to watch the sunset from the livingroom, and watch deer running around the community. Close to necessities like the Cape Kiwanda store and a gas station. It’s very homey feeling and none of us wanted to come home. Two downsides: there are only 4 bedrooms, not 5 as advertised. One room is split into two areas, but it’s not a separate room with its own door. Second, the pots and pans are a little bit of a joke. They are a hodge podge mix of Goodwill-esque cookware. They’re not good quality, and not big enough to handle what could possibly be 14 people staying in the house at once. They worked for my family of 5, but I would have liked to see better cookware. Dishes, silverware, other small kitchen appliances, etc. are perfect!

Beautiful home!

Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend with family. There was lots of room for 10 of us. The beds are comfortable. The kids enjoyed being right on the sand. The last morning we were there, we woke up to snow on the beach, which was a fun thing to experience. We had two minor issues upon arrival that management was very quick to resolve. Suggestions to the owner would be a cheese grater in the kitchen, and rain gutters!

Beautiful location, beautiful house

The house was beautiful. Loved being right on the beach. Got to watch grey whales while eating and playing games. The twelve of us (4 kids) fit comfortably in the house. We really enjoyed the enclosed front area in front and the sandy area right out back to contain the kids and keep them from disappearing too quickly. Preferred this over Lincoln city hands down.
