Nice, clean, relaxing atmosphere and not heavily populated/trafficked area to enjoy some beachfront downtime. Great location, whether you're active or not, morning person or not, there's much to see and explore nearby on land and sea.

Take 2 at this beautiful house was a 10/10, yet again!

This is the second time my extended family has taken a trip to this gorgeous house, and it was just as lovely as we remembered! The views from the upstairs living spaces and kitchen are to die for—even eating breakfast here feels transcendent while watching the waves crash on the beach through the large picture windows! It’s remarkable to find a space that 3 families can feel comfortable in, and this one delivers. There is plenty for everyone to do, from my parents in their 70s to my 3- and 8-year-old nephews. The hosts graciously provided paints, which my nephews used to decorate rocks and make “lightsabers” out of driftwood pieces. We all loved the giant, cozy couch in front of the family room TV. And as someone who enjoys cooking and mixology as hobbies, I was delighted to discover the addition of a juicer to the already impressive array of kitchen appliances and cookware available here. We enjoyed some delightful concoctions. This house and its hosts get an A rating, once again, from us!

Dream vacation at the beach

From the moment we checked in it was an incredible experience. Mary met us and showed us all the amenities. The house had bikes, surf boards, boogie boards, wet suits and absolutely everything you would need to have fun in the surf. The house was immaculately clean and well stocked. No need to bring shampoo or soap. All the bedding was fresh along with all the towels. Access to the beach was easy and the restaurants in the area were great! Fresh produce and fish! I’m planning another visit soon.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

This beach house was an excellent choice , for a much needed 4 day break away from the city . If your into cooking the kitchen has it all ! High end Wolf ovens a chefs dream . Outside BBQ area even had a green egg with plenty of coals for us to cook up our tri-tip . The beach was perfect no people , the views from the main floor were exactly how it was pictured. Mary and Charles are excellent hosts were available 24-7 for any questions. Will definitely be back very soon . Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us !

Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in—hands down

We’ve stayed in some pretty exceptional VRBO properties, so I don’t say this lightly—this one takes the cake. It’s really more like a full house than a beach house rental, but it has everything you’d want for both. It’s a short jaunt to a very beautiful and sparsely visited beach. It almost felt like a private beach. And if you don’t even want to expend THAT much energy, you can enjoy the spectacular views from the deck in the deck lounge chairs, or from the living, dining, or family rooms upstairs. We had seven people staying in the house, two of them under the age of 8, and it never felt crowded. I have never, EVER, seen such a well-stocked kitchen in a beach house. They didn’t just have cookware, they had high quality cookware. Not to mention a huge refrigerator and freezer, an ice machine, electric coffee grinders, an espresso machine, and an ice cream maker. Not to mention, they have multiple outdoor grills (a big green egg and a Weber—we used both). Finally, the host went ABOVE AND BEYOND to give us information about not just their home, but where to go eat and have fun. As soon as we arrived, they were there to show us around, and they gave us info about where to go, the best restaurants, and so many things to do in the area. I wish we had booked three more weeks there! Five stars for this place and its owners, and two thumbs way up!

Beautiful ocean view home

With elegant expansive views of perhaps the most beautiful beach in Southern California, this Oxnard home with three bedrooms a gorgeous kitchen, multiple levels, and amazing outdoor balcony space, was the perfect weekend getaway for our family and dog.

Perfect beach vacation

The home is beautiful and has incredible views. The host Mary met us upon arrival and showed us everything about the home, so helpful! We loved the location to the beach and all the beach toys provided by the host. Our dog Sunny loved the park just down the street and the entire area was very dog friendly. We enjoyed several local restaurants and eating outside next the water. This was a wonderful getaway and we hope to return and stay again!

Unforgettable

The house was awesome, the location was awesome, Mary & Charles are awesome! I have been to this area many times, however Mary, Charles & family gave me a list of things I had never done or heard of! We needed a lot more time. They are very family friendly & very accessible at any time. The house also has everything needed from beach toys, chairs, wagon, wet suit, boards & the list goes on. The house was very beautiful and spacious for our family of 10. We didn’t want to leave. We hope to get back there next year. Thank you Mary for all of your help❤️.

Another success

Second time staying here. The owners have done some wonderful upgrades since our last stay. The owners think of everything you might possibly need from wetsuits to dog treats. Can’t recommend the house enough. Will be back again hopefully soon.

A Dream comes True

I awaken to the sound of the waves and I drifted to sleep to the sound of the waves.This was a lovely location. The home was beautifully decorated and well stocked with all our needs to feel right at home. The owners are gracious and respectful of our privacy. My grandchildren will have wonderful memories of this vacation. My Dream did come True.

Perfect getaway

Stayed at the property for a week with my family. It was absolutely perfect and magical. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We have been renting houses in Oxnard for years and this by far was the best house. It came with everything you could need! We usually end up having to fill our car with boogie boards, games, sheets etc., and the hosts provided everything for us, even wet suits! Each bedroom was great and the views magnificent. Our favorite part of the house was sitting in the living room which was filled with light and enjoying the view while we played board games and read books. The location was also perfect. We loved that part of the beach, and the sand dunes added some extra fun. Highly recommend!
