    Home away from home

    Amazing location!! House was beautiful and had all the amenities! Only one downfall.... check in at 3 check out at 10! You basically lose 2 days! But, overall 100% wonderful!!

    Beautiful, quiet place to relax

    Perfect place to go for some time away. Plenty of room to spread out. Everything you could need is here, and the owners are friendly and helpful if there is something missing. The only negative we could come up with is the single thermostat downstairs - when the heat was on it would be hot upstairs and cool down. Not enough to be a complaint. We would definitely stay here again.

    Check in and communication was good. I just expected a fire pit but inoperable. Was told it was just brought to their attention. I can tell you it didn’t just break. They might want to check on the things they offer. All in all we had a great time

    Lost weekend

    Never got there . After booking months prior, we were notified day before our arrival that reservations were canceled by email at1030pm. Terrible customer service and experience because of this.

    Perfect location & space for 2 families

    We chose this home for the proximity to the water, the Channel Islands, and the space which allowed us to host another family. The massive kitchen & counter, high ceilings, and flow of the common areas really made it easy to have 10 of us stay without feeling cramped. It had plenty of dishes and linens. We only had the use of 3 kayaks, but having those and the pool table kept the kids (and Dads) occupied. William from Evolve was very responsive and helpful with questions and some issues that arose. The new floors look beautiful, by the way! We were there when the weather was in the 60s, so the house felt very comfortable temperature wise. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Nearby highlights were the Oxnard beach (walking distance), the outlet mall, the Arroyo Verde park/trail, and of course the Channel Islands.

    We all love this house!

    This place is close to grocery stores, the beach, golf courses and restaurants. It is very spacious for the 6 of us. The kitchen is big and well stocked. What we love the most is the fact that the house is on the canal. That makes the patio a really nice place to sit and chat, or just to relax. Kayaks are provided and we found it to be very relaxing and therapeutic. The only negative thing I need to mention is, the house is very close to a major road and the traffic is very noisy in the morning. Despite this, we would love to stay at this house again as it is a really lovely house!!!! Also, may be the host can change the rule about recycling. We are not allowed to put anything in the recycling bin. We are BIG on recycling. We had 5 big garbage bags full of empty bottles that we had to give to our local friends to recycle.

    Great for us.

    Four retired friends decided we wanted to rent someplace quiet with a water view for a few days. The house with its four bedrooms and wonderful deck worked great for us. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms with lots of extras that we enjoyed, but didn’t expect. The beds were comfy and the handyman showed us how to work the tv. We would go back.

    Awesome Family Vacation

    This property is fantastic for a family getaway. The location is great, within walking/biking distance from beach, restaurants and marina. Great kitchen for preparing meals for the family. Owner super nice and quick to respond if there are questions.

    This was an amazing home with everything we could have wanted. One of my favorite vacations ever!

    Loved everything about this property and the experience. We will be back.
