This home was beautiful and spacious, however there wasn't an indication on the listing that it does not come with A/C. I have hyperhidrosis, so staying cool is very important for my well-being. Unfortunately, we booked this rental on a weekend that was in the mid-70s (and in the 90s inland). Since the house doesn't have any A/C or ceiling fans, even though the outside temperature was in the mid 70s, the inside was in the 80s. All of us were sweating and struggling to stay cool. The property manager was eventually able to bring several floor fans which helped as long as it was blowing directly on us. I would recommend this property only if the outside temperature is in the low 70s...which is most of the time in this area.
Another thing that I found a bit disconcerting was the Saturday morning Trump boat rally. There were several dozens of boats honking their horns going up and down the harbor, which made it dangerous for me and my family to kayak in the harbor. I'm going to assume that this isn't a weekly occurrence, but the rally goers were quite loud (honking horns), but also said some very nasty chants (that I had to explain to my kids afterwards). Not an ideal Saturday, but by around 4pm, most of the parade died down and we were able to kayak safely around the harbor.
Again, this home is beautiful and located in a great area on the harbor, but I would think twice about renting again if 1.) it's above 70 outside and if 2.) there wasn't a political rally going on during the weekend.
