We loved it! The location was wonderful. The view was amazing. We loved the sea lions. It was clean and roomy. Our older kids sat in the chairs in front of the dining area while they watched our grandkids play in the sand. Thank you for making it a wonderful vacation for our family. The memories will last forever!

Great Place

The house was perfect for our family. We had little ones so being right on the beach was ideal for lunch/nap time etc. The beach was very family friendly and we enjoyed watching the Surf and Jr Lifeguard schools when they were out. It was great having some of the beach necessities available; a couple chairs, towels, games, sand toys and boogie boards. We definitely recommend this house!

Family vacation

Our family had a wonderful time! Both the adults and children spent many hours at the beach which was easy to access. The house itself has a lot of character as well as modern amenities. The bathroom situation was a little crowded on the main floor w/ one bath for 6 of us but the 2nd floor was very spacious w/2 baths for 4 of us. The management company was easy to work with.

Family Slow Unwind

all adult children, 3 newly graduated, spent 3 magic days soaking up the sun right on the sand and cooking together. The Villa is darling. The dining room is surreal. Host does not know the property personally and is not available after hours (hence 4 stars) but the property is delightful.

Villa on the strand

We stayed here for a family gathering. We have a large family and it is not easy to find a place to stay with the requisite number of bedrooms and also affordable. The home is right on the beach. The upstairs porch was small and not convenient because it was attached to the bathroom of the master bedroom. It could use some updates but overall it was great. I would recommend.

Great House!

Spent a long weekend for an annual holiday trip with the family. We love Hollywood Beach and this house was perfect! Great location and the beach was really nice this side of the harbor. The house had plenty of space and accommodated all 7 of us with sleeping quarters. Loved it and would stay again!

Nice place, very close to the beach

Overall the property was good, check in process was easy. Just don't like the check out checklist. We had to wash dishes put them away, put in towels for wash, remove all linen, throw away trash. If any of these were not done properly we could lose outlr deposit. Given the 500+ fee we paid for cleaning the check out process should have been simpler.

The location of the property cannot be better, the house had a charming and lovely layout.

We had such a nice time and wished we could stay longer. We will certainly book again next year.

Memorable

We ended up with 10 family members one of our nights and all had comfortable beds. Very well supplied with games, bikes and beach toys. They really should purchase fresh towels for the guests though

A Beach Dream

We had an amazing time on Silver Strand Beach. This property sits on the beach as described in the property profile, and it was perfect for our family. We were able to enjoy the scenery while relaxing indoors, having our family meals, and enjoying plenty of outdoor time on the beach as well. The property was clean and roomy, and all basic supplies were provided. The only missing amenity would be a nice warm jacuzzi, especially during the springtime as the weather can be a bit cold for swimming. Aside from this, we will definitely visit again!

Very nice house in a super location

We stayed for 3 nights with another family (8 total) and had plenty of space, and the location was fantastic. Our weather was cooler than we hoped for so we rented wetsuits for most of the group from Anacapa Surf N Sport, wonderful folks to deal with. That allowed us to spend quite a bit of time in the water despite the time of year and weather. We also had very good response to questions from Remax Gold and overall would certainly recommend the property.

Great Location!

If you are a surfer, this spot is perfect! It sits right on Silver Strand Beach, a great beach break! The cleaning requirements for visitors were a bit much, but we really enjoyed our stay overall.

Family getaway

House is not very big but the arrangements of the beds and bedrooms is very efficient. Bathrooms and kitchen are very upgraded and access to the beach is easy.

Great Beach Stay!

Really enjoyed this rental. Great location, right on the beach. The house is a perfect 5 bedroom, 3 bath, and fit our group perfectly. There's public parking just 3 or 4 houses down if you have other people come to spend the day at the beach with you. Worked out great all around. Also, we did have an issue with the water heater, but they were in contact quick, had a plumber out that same night. Unfortunately, the first plumber thought the fix was easier than it really was, so they had to send someone back the next morning, but they did, and he fixed it right up, worked great the rest of our stay. We will probably book this location again, really enjoyed it.

Lovely Villa on the Beach

Villa on the Strand is a charming property situated directly on the beach. Although it is an older home, the kitchen and baths are updated and include many amenities including beach chairs, sand toys and a washer dryer. The 180 degree view of the beach from the dining room is magnificent, and it was the perfect place for our family to reunite since the Covid lockdown a year ago.
