Perfect getaway

This was a wonderful property. It was clean, stocked and nicely decorated. They have thought of everything and provided everything you would need during your stay. Wonderful winter holiday

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay very much. The location, amenities, and friendliness of the owners and property manager all added to our overall satisfaction with the rental. Its' close proximity to skiing, hiking, swimming, and family makes this an ideal location for us year round. Beautiful Owl's Head Home

My partner and I stayed for the second time with our two pups. We enjoyed a beautiful hiking trip and a wonderful home. The house was very comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. We stayed on the main level so I can't speak to the upstairs but it was a lovely home and the hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking.

Bright and Beautiful, Spacious and Spectacular

This home is beautiful! We loved the ease of use and the natural landscape of the property. Star lit nights in the hot tub and at the bonfire were great too! What a fantastic Adirondack stay! The house is beautiful and has everything you'd need for a memorable vacation. If you are planning a motorcycle trip, this is your place. Beautiful home

You can smell the cleanliness from moment you enter the home. Everything was clean and the home is absolutely beautiful. It is in a quiet location. Even though you have neighbors, you can enjoy the hot tub without prying eyes with the line of trees between the houses. There is a bar/restaurant within walking distance from the house if you happen to arrive a little early for check in. The locals were very friendly. It was great to be able to park in the garage at night as many rentals do not give use to the garage. The master bedroom is just off the kitchen, but is very quiet once the door is closed and if the blind is closed, it is kept quite dark inside the room for sleeping in. The bigger lakes are just 1-2 hours away if you are up for a car ride and the scenery is beautiful with minimal traffic. We tried several local eateries and visted the stores in Malone to get used to the area. Everyone was very friendly. There is no air conditioning and we had several 90 degree days, but the house did not feel stuffy. It felt good to open the screened side paneled doors on the patio to bring in some of the breeze and cooler air at dusk and we ran the de-humidifier while there for the week and emptied the container when needed. The house did lose power one day while we were out, but no issues when we returned. This home was the perfect rental.

Just what we needed

Originally we were going to bring our snowmobiles but trail reports were mixed. Trails to the north were closed due to lack of snow. Instead we thoroughly enjoyed the house, hot tub and just unplugging from our home life! Such an amazing home and much needed trip. This was one of the most organized and cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in.
