This hotel is far from what the pictures show. It was very dirty. The beds were broke in my room. The pool heater was broke due to electical issues. The ceiling was covered in mold. We woke up that morning to no electric in our room.

The hotel is older but is not terrible, however I was having problems with my room door shutting and ended up locking myself out, went to the desk and they gave me a new key, still has having difficulties with the door shutting, at this point maintenance had to come to the room and they could not fix it and said they would put a work order in. The door shut from the inside just not the outside, which wasn't a problem while we were in the room but became a problem having to have at least someone stay in the room at all times or leave the door not shut all the way.

Liked that the room was clean and an upgrade to a king, the original twin room wasn't available. Though why they would list a room that wasn't available, I don't know. Had a fridge and microwave, good water pressure, and adjustable spray shower. The property policy is to put a charge/hold on your credit card for $100. Usually places just take your card number, not actually put a charge on it. I'll have to watch it to make sure I get credit. The place is huge. Lots of rooms. Some accessible only from the inside of the building, no windows to the outside, others accessible from the outside only, like a motel. Also a huge dining area in the lobby, though it didn't look like it was open. There was a bar/restaurant by the lobby also. It's one of those huge places that has seen it's better/busier days. Now it's the low budget underutilized place. Anyway, I go for the low priced places, and it was fine. I'd stay there again.

Front desk staff was really unprofessional. The lobby smelled like smoke. There was no soda in the vending machine, no coffee available in the morning. I was also given a room on the second floor which was really inconvenient given my two young kids. Also I don't think it's wheel chair accessable up there. People leave their trash sitting outside their room because they don't empty the trash cans often enough. On my second night I got woken up at about 1am by someone banging on my neighbors door. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the room. No TV remote. But I didn't see any pests which was good. I had enough towels for me and my two kids for two days without requesting more. I had a room with two beds which was nice. I don't think they offer that at the Cadillac motel. But unless I absolutely need that other bed, the Cadillac motel is better, especially considering the $100 deposit you have to give at Oyo.

Worst Hotel in Owensboro

I asked to be switched to a non smoking room and was switched to an ashtray. There were flies buzzing around. The heat didn't work. The shower didn't work. There were what looked like blood stains on both sides of the comforter. Work crews were banging on walls and floors next door before 7am. And they ask for a deposit? Seriously?

If you thinking of staying in a cheap hotel in the Owensboro area. There’s a motel 6 that’s probably better than this. We picked this place because it was reasonable and had a pool. Let me tell you, if they said they had cleaned the room I wouldn’t of believed them. The bathroom had stains, hair and soap scum, there was trash every where and the floor by the bed had a huge dark stain that was creepy. The pictures were ripped off the walls and the front desk person gave me the TV remote and stated “things just disappear around here”. I will never stay here again, in fact we checked out early and found a different hotel to stay at

The facility was run down and dirty. There were roaches in the room . The sink was broken and there was no tv in the room- it had been removed from the wall with only wires hanging. I would not ever stay there again.

This place sucks

Barely got checked in and left. Trash left on floor. Sex stains on sheets. Makeup stains on pillow cases. Furniture has cigarette burns on wood. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

First to start off both rooms i had were hot and no way to cool down since the units in the rooms didnt work nor did the tvs and also tvs did not have remotes both rooms were dirty stained bed lining cigarette burns in carpet and no towels or toiletries in either room and was told the pool would be open on the day we were staying at was told at chrck in the pool was closed

Work trip

The front desk lady was helpful and friendly. I was able too check in quickly and receive the hotel room key. The room was clean, enough towels, cold air, warm water in shower and good pressure.

I would like a night free or i would like a refund, we didnt have a trash can, tv and or no refrigerator or microwave, the air was down the rooms was dirty until they moved us the last room wasnt cleaned right and we are very unhappy and have picyures of our stay

Don’t waste your money

People knocking on doors all night long, no ice machine available, pool drained, no clean towels available due to their laundry room is out of service. Wouldn’t go back.
