Friendly staff, nice pool, close to the interstate. Also historical area a few minutes down the road where you can shop local. Fast food right across the road for quick meals. We were there for a sporting event and it met our needs for accessibility, ease and safety.

They charged us $75 fee for pets, which was unexpected. After being surprised by the additional charge, the staff was rude to us. The room has loud air conditioning systems. We asked to change the room, but the second room has similar issues. At the end we decided to not change the room but just leave the air conditioning off. Breakfast was okay. We didn't get the room with the river view.

Thank you for your business. It is clearly stated on the 3rd party website you used to book the room that there's a pet fee. Then you switched rooms which incurred additional costs to us because we had to clean 2 rooms from your stay and not 1

The hotel was fine, clean, newly renovated, but Expedia deserves a negative rating for a bait and switch operation in which the app showed a price for the room that was $40 less than Expedia actually ended up charging for the room. When the price jumps from $90 to $130, you have to question what's going on in their system. When I complained to Expedia, I was asked if I had checked the price AFTER I got the booking confirmation email!! Absurd.

Everything was great, as we’ve come to expect from Hampton Inn. Only thing I wish were different were a better draining tub and the covered area by the front door is not circular so it causes cars too pile up and have a hard time reversing back out during busy times.

Nice stay!
Very super nice hotel the only complaint was the shower worst one I have ever had you could not turn the head to adjust the water and it was barely coming out. Beautiful remodeled rooms.

Nice Hampton. Starting to show some signs of aging but comfortable rooms which are spacious and well equipped. Comfortable bed with quiet location and typical Hampton breakfast. Plenty of fast food options nearby with a short drive into historic Owego for better dining options.

Surrounding properties negatively impact the impressions of the Hampton. Walls and ceilings not well insulated . Loud conversation in adjacent room into the night.. Was this an old days inn that was converted?

Thank You for your comments and staying with us. Your comments on the appearance have been forwarded to the owner. If the loud noise kept you up, you should have notified the front desk and they could have taken care of the noise. This property was built in 2008 and has been a Hampton since that time.

No bar/lounge at this location
We had a lovey one night stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good. We were disappointed that there was no bar/lounge as the listing indicated as we were looking forward to a cocktail at the end of a long day of driving.

The foot steps above me were surprisingly loud, but only at times when they could be, so it was mostly fine-- just got me out of bed earlier than I wanted. Granted, it was 8-9am, but the 2nd floor can hear the 3rd floor pretty easily in your hotel room.

What we liked was the breakfast and the room itself but the cleanliness was a no but I have seen worst. When we were checking in the lady answering the phone was rude. Telling people calling that she had rooms but if you wanted one to just come in. Our room could have been really nice if we didn't find a perscription pill on floor, also we were not the only people who found pills on their floor a couple with a baby found pills on their floor too. The floor hadn't been vacuumed, there was food in fridge, hair on comforter, pubic hairs in tub and the toliet hadn't been cleaned there was black ring and black stuff coming down from inside rim. The mattress was way to soft on 1 side and it felt like mattress was tilted we took sheets off to turnover mattress and there were big yellow stains on both sides. Mattress was a little better after flipping. There was no fan in bathroom. The ice machine was broke on 3rd floor. The garbage piled up in can outside side door. The hallway was nice on 3rd floor. It could have been a real nice stay had our room been clean on checking in. I did take pictures. We stayed because we came in from NC and didn’t have time to look for another hotel because we were there to lay my grandma to rest. We won't be back we spent over 500 for room and it should have been clean.

We loved the pool and breakfast and the overall hotel stay. Staff was great. Only complaint is that the room was dirty and there were dirty towels hanging in the bathroom and shower. But i cleaned it up and it ended up being a comfortable stay.

We have nut and sesame allergies in our family. I was pretty disappointed to see an almond-based soap bar in the bathroom, as well as a sesame-based skin lotion. It made it unsafe for us, and it would make it unsafe for others in the same situation. Please consider using safer products. Thank you.

Staff was friendly, not very knowledgeable on area / events in area. Facility was run down, elevator was broke, rooms needed updating / repairs.

I want to start by saying this Hampton inn is a poor reflection of how great this room could have been. Poorly maintained facility. During my stay I saw the front desk tell another Hotel patron that their dogs are going to be sent to animal control if they don't find another place to stay. This is a pet friendly hotel in fact I had my dog with me over the week long stay. I was absolutely shocked at how they dealt with this I overheard they had 3 days booked up Unfortunately that was not the only issue of my stay. When I first arrived on Tuesday night late the last at the front desk was not nice at all and claimed that my hotel room wasn't going to be available because I booked through a third party vendor. I let her know that I contacted the hotel directly after booking to confirm my room and had to show her my room booking to confirm the study that I had booked for my stay. On the walls of the hotel and in the room it says all you have to do is ask for your room to be serviced with towels or a regular service. I called on Thursday and asked for a service and was told they are gone for the day and since it's the weekend I get will not service my room. I was confused because this is the first time I have ever had to ask for service let alone be told no. I then the next day had to go to the front desk and request a service a second time Also items in the room were broken and "on the to do list"- could not hang up my clothes for the wedding I was in town for.
