"As advertised this is a great home with lots of room and extras (chest freezer, ice chests, plenty of split and stacked dry firewood, extra bedding). "The kitchen had everything we needed. It was very clean. There was a Kurig with a selection of coffee pods, and also a French press, which we used with fresh ground beans from a local coffee shop. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels and a very cozy couch overlooking the harbor. It is a beautiful location. "

"The house was very nicely finished and the location was amazing! Our host was very accommodating when we got in a bind with a cancelled flight. We were in Kodiak on business so we didn't have much time to explore but would love to come back and stay here again and take a fishing trip and sightseeing tour with Rick and Hope!"

"Nice little get away spot. View was beautiful, beds and shower comfortable. We would have benefited from a pearing knife to cut our bagel and apple. One other suggestion is a taller faucet in one of the sinks to better wash dishes and fill water bottles. Great spot! I would highly recommend!"

"It was indeed an awesome view. The hosts are really friendly. It has a separate entrance which is nice. Walking distance to downtown if you don't have a car, but if you do there is a place to park. It is built on a hill in front of the ocean, and requires walking down a flight of stairs each time you come and go. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck just taking in the scenery and sounds. "
