"Alojamiento estupendo en Ouray"
Estuvimos 4 amigos en febrero en Ouray para escalar en hielo y nos alojamos en el River´s Edge. La habitación esta muy bien, es super espaciosa y todo estaba muy limpio. Además tiene un jacuzzy en el exterior que es una maravilla, incluso rodeados de nieve, como estuvimos nosotros. El motel está en el medio del pueblo y al lado del "ice park" así que la ubicación es perfecta. La única pega es que la zona de desayuno es un poco pequeña y cuando hay mucha gente tienes que esperar un rato para desayunar, no obstante siempre tienes la opción de llevarte el desayuno a la habitación. Asi que en general un sitio estupendo y muy recomendable.

Loved Ouray! The only complaint was loud stomping up stairs after 9pm and hearing vomiting above us during the night

This property has everything you need for short stay with dogs. Owner John is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Having dog park right next to property was a huge plus, and the area around is cute and charming with river running next to it. Our room was nice with king size bed and shower was clean. Also this place has really good coffee during breakfast service a lot better than the coffee shops in town.

We love staying here! We go to Ouray about 5 times per year and this is our go-to hotel. It is pet friendly and rooms are very comfortable and clean. Love sitting in the hot tub at the end of the day!

We really loved our stay here. It was a beautiful area and we loved being right next to the river. We felt very safe, and the staff were kind and friendly.

The beds are very comfortable and seem to be newer. But the rest of the room is out dated. My biggest turn off was that the room smelt like someone had smoked in there. The staff was very friendly and you are two blocks from the main drag.

Nothing worked check-in person says they can't afford to fix anything. At $250.00 a night come on.

The check in process was beautifully handled by Laura! Such a kind and respectful young lady. The room was a double queen room that was a great size. Pet friendly with a nice dog park attached at the back of the property. We booked last minute over Columbus Day but the rate was doable. All in all we had a great visit!

So it can be a little bit loud because of the dog park behind it and the dogs on the property. But that’s the nature of a pet friendly motel! The room I was in was very nice and the staff were kind. I loved being so close to the dog park and walking into the town everyday for shopping and meals. ALSO AWESOME hot tubs

Our perfect stay in Ouraym
We have been traveling for business/pleasure across 4 states. River’s Edge is our best accommodation so far. The greeting and service were warm and genuine. The room was perfect for two: current, clean, and well appointed.

Covid is not a good excuse anymore.
It's a older motel, they still use "Covid" as an excuse to make you ask for housekeeping or you can put your towels and trash outside. The so called breakfast is a paper bag you grab at the office with a water, a snack bar, a very small muffin and if you want a hard boiled egg or yogurt you ask for them. The price is in-line with other's in the area but the fees and taxes are not included until arrive. Made a difference in the overall price. It does have a nice outdoor setting area by the river and plenty of flowers everywhere. All and all I think it's over priced for what you get.

Property needs a new touch. Investment.
Very average, it needs updating!! Bed felt like three layers of egg crate foam. Quick sand. Ceiling lights full of nats, and bathroom also had them stuck to ceiling. Fridge ice box needs defrost that yellowing ice off. They really need to invest to keep the place up. Hot tubs need cleaning and fixing. Cheaper rates equal lower expectations.

Very nice owner, beautiful views feom balcony with chairs to sit on. 2 hot tubs, big comfortable rooms with kitchenette. Wonderful place to stay.
