Ouray Celebration of Life, Eva

We were in town for a celebration of life and farewell to our beautiful niece. We arrived to a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a sympathy card. The home was clean and well stocked. The contact person answered our questions so quickly. It made our stay easier during a difficult time.

Nice accommodations; roomy and comfortable!! One car garage with extra parking available..Ouray is right around the corner. Ridgway 10 minutes away.. Montrose 30 minutes away… We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others!!

Great house in Ouray

This house is spacious and well-kept. We were able to walk into town via the River Walk (just across the highway from the house) or the highway. The house had plenty of space for our family of 6, with three large bedrooms. VRC are great hosts!

Conviently located

This townhouse was conviently located to nearby attractions especially with a small gas station across the street. We had enough space for our family of six (4 adults and 2 kids). It was mainly clean other than one of the bathrooms that had hair and nail clippings on the floor. The biggest downside was the parking, and how others in the adjoining houses parked their cars on the narrow road. Another downside was the lack of a grill. We bought a small charcoal grill and left it for others to use.

No Hot Water

This place was very nice, clean and comfortable. Nice spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Fairly well stocked. Only problem was that we were only able to take 1 hot shower and then everyone else had to take lukewarm to cold showers or wait 40 minutes to an hour for the water to get hot again. With 6 of us, this was a problem. We didn’t take long showers. 1st day they sent a plumber over midday, when we hadn’t just used the shower, he apparently ran the water, said it was hot and left. 2nd day a handyman came over, ran the water, said it wasn’t hot enough and turned the water heater up. That seemed to help, as 3rd day we were all able to take hot showers. Only other issues were that the powder room toilet ran constantly unless we lifted up the handle; and one shower handle turned too far so it was hard to adjust and then when turning from tub to shower, water kept coming out tub spout. Garage is tiny and with the curbing, it isn’t possible to fit an SUV inside, but we did get a car inside and parked the SUV in the overflow parking.

Comfortable place

Lights in kitchen a bit confusing, carpet and wood floors are worn, garage is difficult to enter/exit (we had to remove a lot of ice in front of garage in order to drive in). The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, utinsels, storage containers and paper products, etc. Linens were nice. We had a comfortable stay, no issues, everything seemed to work. Met our expectations for the price relative to other properties in Ouray that were available.

Great Condo

This condo had the best kitchen items in any place we've rented. The perfect size .... ceiling fans, central air, spacious garage to park our Jeep. Location is good...gas station, car wash and small convenience store across the street. Virtually no road noise....Ouray closes down at night and this unit is one building off the street. Property Management very responsive if you need them. Definately will rent here again.

Quiet spot just outside of town

Very clean. Garage is fine for a standard SUV or Jeep. The master bedroom could use a king-size bed. But overall an excellent place to spend a week!

Great Place To Stay

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. It was clean and had lots of space for our family of five. It's very close to everything as well. My kids really enjoyed the Hot Springs Pool which is very close. Thanks for providing such a wonderful place to stay!

Clean, newer property with all the amenities!

Loved this newer townhome with garage, and it was super clean and also had a fully stocked kitchen which made dining and entertaining at home a breeze. Easy 1/4 mile walk to the hot springs along the river walk trail, and only another few minutes to the heart of downtown Ouray. Only thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable would be an outdoor space - patio or deck - to enjoy the beautiful mountains to their fullest. A couple other units in this same complex had patios, but this only had a single patio chair by the front door. This is not anything which was misrepresented in the listing - just an oversight on our part. Also, great communications from the owner's agency utilizing both text and their "Hospitality" app for our iPhone!
