Perfect Location

Really enjoyed this classic Colorado cabin right next to the Boreas Pass trailhead. Forest atmosphere with stunning mountain views right outside the door. Plenty of room and kitchen/ living space. We had a great stay.

Location, location, location

This home is conveniently located to the lifts, dining, grocery and shopping. Driveway was snowed in so I think it was a lot narrower than I expected, which made getting in and out with all of our luggage and ski gear sort of difficult. Didn't get to use the hot tub as the one time I went out there it had not been running all day so it was cold. Also a lot of snow on the patio that I didn't feel like walking through. Kids enjoyed it though once it got warmed up! Fully stocked with items in the kitchen, although I would've appreciated better quality toiletries in the bathroom. Also might be time for bed upgrades in a few of the rooms.

Breathtaking View

Beautiful cabin located in snowy mountains. We were able to play outside on the hillside daily. Quick drive into town. Perfect spot to just stay, relax and enjoy the views. Loved the fireplace and all the cabin feels.

Chose this home for the "hot tub under the stars" listing headline, then no notice it wasn't working

First, the home is great in many ways. We were worried about the driveway in the snow, but had no problem. Do not park overnight in the lot nearby. They tow. Were told not to interact with the split drive neighbor because she dislikes renters but she approached us and was nice. It is quite a trip up the mountain but we never had an issue making it. Our main issue was two-fold. 1) short notice that the hot tub would not be working for our stay. The one thing everyone in our group requested for after skiing and hiking. Each time I communicated with Ben since booking I mentioned that we booked for the hot tub, could not wait for the hot tub. If he knew this in the weeks before our stay, he should have given us a chance to find another property to meet our main requirement. If he truly only had a day to notify us, a simple small credit would have at least showed he cared. Our family has rentals and we would do this for our renters. As it was, Ben described it as a "minor inconvenience", and treated it that way. For us, it was the whole reason we chose the house instead of another, less expensive property. We were still required to shovel the deck. 2) Ben never responded back when we said we hoped he would consider doing something for us. Talk about feeling like we didn't matter. We ended up renting another property for two of the big skiing and hiking days but this split our family and cost us a lot more. Overall, we like the property but how we were treated ruined it.

Cozy, lovely wooded property,convenient to town

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. Instacart and Doordash was available. The town had restaurants galore and only took about 10 minutes to get to. Hiking trails so close by as well. The porch had 2 hummingbird feeders which were constantly crowded. We were so excited to be visited by an adorable red fox! Beautiful and relaxing.

quiet location

Great! well supplied for our 10 day trip, located at the mouth of a 23 mile trailhead, beautiful, as advertised, comfortable. We did encounter trouble getting out of the driveway, due to lack of plow service on the day we needed to leave, the driveway is shared with the neighbor. So the driveway wasnt cleared for our needs but for the neighbors needs. It was also impossible to see oncoming traffic due to the neighbors cars parked at the top of the hill. When we asked the plow driver to go over the top of the hill more, he wasnt cooperative and he didnt shoe up the next morning to plow before we had to check out.

Fabulous Stay

Property was PERFECT for the 8 of us Kitchen well stocked as were toiletries. Lots of room to spread out in the home and on the deck Life in the trees was good 💜 loved that it was on Boreas Pass Road ….. great place off which to hike walk and bike ! Great home for our pups Appreciated the fans to take in the cool mountain air at night We brought tie outs for our pups which worked super well for the deck Gates are provided but tie outs gave us the security we needed ! Overall fantastic home and location Hiked or bikes every day So close to town which was lovely

Spring Break Snowcation

Great property as described, tucked away on Boreas Pass. Minutes from downtown and ski lifts. Our kids loved the large, snowy yard, hot tub, and choice of rooms.

Location in the mountain area absolutely gorgeous! The house had everything we needed; plenty of space and was well stocked with essentials ( paper towels, tissues, soap, dish detergent etc. ) The large dining table provided for many meals and games together. We enjoyed the hot tub, wood burning stove and charcoal grill. The cleaning crew could have done a better job…. there was dog hair on carpets, blankets and some bedding. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

A lovely mountain cabin

A wonderful cabin that is full of personality. Lots of room throughout the main floor, a great kitchen, cozy living room and a big dining area. I love everything about the place, but I will warn visitors that it is at very high elevation. That may impact older guests!

Excellent Location

Everything was seamless from booking, check-in, the stay, to check out. Ben was quick to answer any questions I had. The location was perfect.. the kids ages 8-21 were in awe of the cabin and the accessibility of the snow/sledding hill in the back yard. It was a quick walk up Boreas pass rd to the most beautiful views of the mountains. Quick walk in the opposite direction and you were at a hiking/cross country ski trail. We had a great time would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again.

Beautiful Breckenridge

We were in Breckenridge for an outdoor wedding, which went beautifully! The weather cooperated, and the scenery was spectacular! The house served as our headquarters for four days. There was plenty of room for all, and the bedrooms were quite comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!
