"Repetiría el hotel. Echo en falta un control de temperatura en la habitación y más enchufes a mano, pues tuve que desenchufar la televisión para preparar un té. También eché en falta que en la recepción no tuviesen un adaptador para enchufes. El restaurante muy bueno, fantástico y su bodega más que aceptable."

"I did not get to stay at the OVO, I booked the wrong date (my error), but having paid Expedia for insurance that would alow me to make changes to the booking, the venue wanted to charge a handling fee that was 100% of the room cost. seeing that it would have cost me the full room cost on top of whatever the actual day would cost me I decided not to cancel and to book elsewhere."

"We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them. The breakfast was good; selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries for a light breakfast. Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans if you wanted something hot. Overall, excellent value for money!"

"This is a cute place to stay but a bit dated. It is dog friendly and it was lovely to see so many furry friends enjoying a trip! We stayed in a building round the back which had some quirky wallpaper but needed an upgrade. Interesting rules around breakfast which were explained in terrifying detail by staff who had been well briefed - "You have 30 minutes from when you enter until you must leave, and you can have one hot drink refill". That was a bit much, but we complied!"

"Great staff friendly and helpful, nice relaxing atmosphere, very nice breakfast, only two very small suggestions would be nice to have longlife milk sachets or similar in the room save having to go down stairs and ask for milk,and could do with a shelf in the shower no where to put shampoo ect when showering"

"We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

"Room 1 is extremely small, but was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. There were too few staff. Service at dinner and the bar was very slow. Dinner wasn't as hot as it should have been. There was too much food on a small plate, I had to hunt under the chicken for my vegetables! Overall, it's quite expensive for food that although was delicious it wasn't hot and not served in a timely manner."

"Did not like the abscence of humans until breakfast. The cook was obliging in making me a bacon butty for breakfast. The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean but a wee tired."

"What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot."

"Check in was not the best. The MOS clearly didnt want to be there. Didnt tell us about the only lift. The room was as far away from the reception in a very much less than full hoyel. We were 'treated' to the noise of the by-pass all night. The hotel was in a poor state of repair, I pointed out torn carpet to a MOS who laughed and went into an office. The ceiling over the staircase had a large crack across it. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay with friendly staff and a good selection...

"Beautiful location with spectacular views. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated and the bathroom was stunning. Breakfast is very good and they offer both buffet and full cooked options. The things that let it down were more to do with the poor staff attitude that we encountered at Sunday lunch and when I tried to check into our room. They didn’t seem interested in helping us and didn’t get our stay off to a great start."
