"This is such a great place to ski/snowboard. The hotel is great and has a lot of space, theirs a lot to do in the hotel also besides being outside in the snow. "The hotel is very near to the slope for the resort, less 2 mins of walking. Dry room is located in the basement level Restaurant is good for both breakfast and dinner with reasonable price. Supermarket is just right across the street The only down side is it can be a little bit noisy during the late night on the main street. "

"We had the best experience staying at Pension Hobby during our visit to Japan. The owners are very kind and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Our room was simple and clean with a modern space heater. Norikura itself is tiny and the number of restaurants is limited. This didn’t matter at all since we had fantastic dinners (set menu) at Pension Hobby every night during our stay. Breakfast always included homemade yoghurt, milk, jam, sausages, bacon and so on.
