"Initially, seeing the house online, it seemed to tick all the boxes of being spacious, having an outdoor area, a park nearby and be close to the beach. We were pleasantly surprised and rapt to see that the boxes indeed were right to be ticked. The house had a good, calm feeling about it and it felt like a home away from home. "Lovely stay, the property owners were friendly and very welcoming. Left me to my privacy which was great. I appreciated the lack of traffic, other people, lack of street lights and the wildlife flying past the window. "My friend and I had a wonderful wintery break in the pods. Compact, clean, comfortable, and everything you need. Friendly responsive hosts. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the beautiful expanse of Pekapeka beach. The pods are in a small enclave of houses but it was very quiet, only noise at night was the sea and the frogs! We liked the eco-friendly touches and the herb garden, beds were very comfy, shower was hot with decent pressure. Thoroughly recommend and would love to return!"

"The property was totally fit for purpose and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy early on Monday morning as it is in an industrial area. We were woken by a noisy rubbish truck. Can't be helped though!"
