"We had some events in the area, so we decided to book a lake-front property to enjoy some quiet, Fall-season time. The place didn't disappoint. By mid-October, this area is past the fall-foliage season and boat traffic is at a minimum. This listing is accurate. The place is quiet. The host is very responsive. Enjoy!"

"Beautiful cottage, clean, excellent view. We used the boat every day. It was gassed up and worked fine. There is a wood pile for camp fires. Muliple kyaks, canoes, and a stand up paddleboard. I saw loons on the lake (first time for me) and we heard owls at night. The fridge was clean and empty when we arrived...so you do need to bring any condiments, etc you might need. They do have salt & pepper. They have a kerig and a regular drip coffee pot. Highly recommend staying here...we hope to come...

"Tiny House is exactly what it is, it was perfect for what we needed and affordable. All the hotel chains in the area are outrageously over priced all the time. This rental is perfect for a couple or single person staying a night or two. Its an all open floor space, double bed is a fotone & queen bed was up on a loft. 3 of us with a dog stayed 1 night, my 17 year old was the better option to climb up to queen bed, my husband and i stayed on the couch bed and our 50lb dog laid on his dog bed...

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is very large and there is quite a bit of privacy as it is quite far from any main road. The scenery was beautiful. It was great having two motorized fishing boats. The fishing was very so-so. We caught mostly pickerel and some smaller sized smallmouth bass but it was a bit slow and we would often go many hours in between bites. Gary was fantastic. "Loved the big dining table that allowed for us to eat family style and celebrate our daughter's birthday. The house was charming and we loved having the room to spread out. I could have spent a lot of time in the library/game room browsing and reading books. A super room! I would suggest though maybe some updates to the bedding and perhaps toilets. Overall though we would recommend and stay here again!"

The kitchen is great and we spent a lot of time cooking and eating together. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook or bake. There were plenty of paper products for our week stay. We did have to buy drinking water, not because of the discoloration but because it had a salty taste. But was great when cooking because there was know need to...

"The location, house, and property were awesome. It would have been helpful to have some written instructions for operation of some of the equipment in the house (ceiling lights/fans, pellet stove, dishwasher). We did figure everything out, but it would have saved some time. Everyone agreed, the dishwasher has to go."
