The house was amazing. Immaculate. Had everything we needed especially with 2 baby grandchildren with us. Beautiful crib and high chair. Every bedroom was nice. We loved the heated pool and outdoor patio area. We enjoyed walking around the area and did so every day. We took advantage of the beautiful beach nearby and downtown area with nice shops.

Perfect!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay Deirdre's beautiful home in Osterville. It was clean, comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed from a fully-stocked kitchen to a full-size crib for our toddler. The location is perfect in a town that is beyond charming. Deirdre was super responsive and accommodating. We can't wait to go back next year!

Dream Vacation!

This was the perfect house for a beach vacation with a young family. The house was immaculate and had all the extra frills we were looking for. Walking distance to the beach made it easy to walk back for naps or lunch, and close to downtown for easy access to shopping and restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Cape cod getaway

House and location were perfect! Plenty of room and well stocked. Pool was super clean and nice treat at the end of the day. Easy bike rides and walks to beach and town ( ice cream every night)! Would definitely stay again!

Happy Repeat Stay!

This was our third visit, and hopefully not our last! The house is wonderful, we love the pool, and the location can’t be beat! The provided bikes are a great feature, and we love riding to the great library in town (and sometimes ice cream, too!). Everything we could want was provided, and the property is immaculate. The patio and beautiful yard are probably our favorite, but that’s saying something with a football table and air hockey downstairs for rainy days! We are so lucky to have found this gem!

Twice as Nice!

We loved our first stay in 2021 so much that we came back for a repeat visit this summer. Osterville is a lovely destination on the Cape, and this property is absolutely perfect for a family. The pool, the location, plenty of room....it really can't be beat. Check in and out was seamless, and we had absolutely no issues during our stay. Hope this visit won't be our last!

Exceptional!

We loved our stay! The house was amazing and accommodated our 3 families well. Our trip consisted of 6 adults and 4 kids (ages 2.5, 5.5, 6 and 8). The house was very kid friendly, safe and outfitted with anything and everything you would need. They’ve thought of it all. It also happens to be gorgeous and spacious. We never felt on top of each other. The cooling system was fabulous (and our two weeks were during a heat wave). The location is great. The owners were always very responsive, knowledgeable and pleasant. I would definitely rent here again. We loved it.

Wonderful Stay in Charming Osterville

We had a wonderful stay in Osterville. The town is so lovely, and has all of the charm of a quaint beach town with all of the convenience of larger cities just a short drive away. We loved walking to Dowses Beach (thanks to the provided wagons!) and into town. The house itself was welcoming and clean. My kids adored the pool and the games in the basement! The kitchen had everything we needed for a great stay! The rooms are spacious and the home has been beautifully renovated. The owners were super responsive to any questions we had, but we really had no issues during our stay. We look forward to more opportunities to stay at this beautiful home.

Fabulous vacation experience

This home is exceedingly well cared for and made ready for vacation visitors. Everything we needed or could even think of was provided in ample supply. The house was spotless on arrival and the yard and pool ideal for family enjoyment. So near to the beach and town center as well, whether on foot or biking. We highly recommend this VRBO offering.

Perfect vacation spot

We have stayed at this property several times and it remains a favorite spot for our family. The house is very clean, well maintained and well stocked. They have carefully thought about the little things such as having beach towels and chairs available, games like corn hole and staple pantry items to use. The house is also quite spacious allowing the family to spread out. The location of the property is perfect. You are walking distance to the beach and town and a short drive to other beaches and ponds. The heated pool is a big bonus and used frequently by our family. Over the years the Lane family have made improvements including finishing the basement and adding air hockey and a foosball table! Great for rainy days or when you need to get out of the sun. Overall, when we think of coming to the Cape this is the house the entire family wants to come to!

Amazing property in great location

This property was exactly as advertised. It’s a spacious home that had exactly the right space for our family of 7. It’s an easy walk to a beautiful, sandy beach. The neighborhood is very safe and great for walking/biking. For our early teens it was a safe walk to town for ice cream. The pool and yard was great for family fun. The house has a great kitchen and outdoor eating area and the family rooms were ideal for family game night. Deirdre is very detailed and timely on communications and made the stay easy. Her kindness and enthusiasm went a long way to ensure we had a wonderful time.

Great Stay

This is a beautiful, clean, and very organized home. Amazing location. Check-in was easy and the owner kept is very well-informed prior to check in. The owner provided very rigid rules and guidelines on how we should approach clean up and overall upkeep, but overall it was worth it since the house was so clean and spacious. Overall great experience.

Beautifully renovated winner!!!

Loved the upscale (very high class) and thoughtfully chosen renovations to this house. Just so pleasant to stay in. Unbelievable location with proximity to beach and downtown Osterville, plus gorgeous avenues to walk or bike along and just admire other properties. Pool was topnotch as was landscaping (so pretty to look at), air conditioning was super on hot days, rooms are spacious and house has an easy flow, great for extended families to be together but have their own spot to sleep or relax. Also a dream spot for people with disabilities. Our elderly father who is in a wheelchair accompanied us and was able to move around the house with ease, and enjoy the back yard a bit too. Working with Deirdre (the owner) was also one of the easiest and most pleasant interactions we've had (and we've been renting on the Cape for about 20 summers) -- her attention to detail and understanding of specific needs was spot on, and she was just fun to work with. A great vacation for us!

A great escape!

We had an amazing vacation for our two families, including one wheelchair-bound person. The house was immaculate and had many spaces for any of the nine of us to cuddle up with a good book or movie. The pool was a great bonus (we paid to have it heated) and Deirdre provided beach towels and other little bonuses that helped us all have a great time (like air hockey in the basement)! The neighborhood is beautiful and great for walking or running, and we walked to the local beach several times. We are already considering booking again for next year!

Met all our expectations!

Our family vacation was perfect. The home was beautiful and so well thought out. We had everything we needed and MORE! Fantastic rental

The owners have really outdone themselves with the recent renovations of this property. Everything has been thought of and tastefully decorated. The pool was fantastic and enjoyed daily by my children. The house is extremely organized which makes it so easy to vacation in, easy to find everything. Close to town, close to the beach. Exceptional owner responsiveness, it felt like we were staying with family. We happened to be on the Cape when a rare tornado hit, Dedire was responsive and helpful during the power outage and even stopped by with candles. We will definitely be back!

perfect vacation getaway

This property was the perfect place for my family to relax, enjoy and have fun. The house was spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood was lovely and a wonderful place to take lazy walks or bike rides. The weather was perfect the week we were there and the pool was the perfect addition to an already perfect location. Walks to the beach were long enough to get a bit of exercise yet close enough to feel comfortable. The owner was accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. Overall I would highly recommend this home as a great vacation getaway.

Perfect for family and a Great Location

We were a family of 10, 6 adults 4 children, and really enjoyed staying at this location. It was very family and kid friendly with the pool, and a garage filled with fun activities for the kids to play with. We felt very secure with fences in the back of the house and around the pool. The only problem was one of the bedrooms didn't have air conditioning and unfortunately it was very warm the week we were there but otherwise everything was so nice. We would highly recommend this house for a fun family vacation.

We absolutely loved our stay in Osterville!! The house was amazing and the location was perfect.

This property was perfect for our whole family! The inground pool and beautiful gardens were the icing on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Cape! Crisp pizza was delicious and our girls loved making s’mores there. We had everything we needed at the house!

Beautiful home and excellent location.

We rented this house for a weekend for a small sibling reunion- twin sisters (age 69), brother (79) and another sister (85) and two spouses. Plenty of room for the six of us. Four of the family have some mobility issues so the one floor living was perfect. Beautifully landscaped and a good sized pool although we did not use the pool- too cool in late September. Deirdre was very responsive in answering any questions we had.
