"Room was clean we were in the family room and it was very nice ! Breakfast really not worth the money , should have been included in the price of the hotel stay tbh ! Staff were very nice and efficient when checking in"

"Very friendly staff, clean and tidy. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Probably the best one we have stayed in in Scarborough and we have stayed in quite a few! Unfortunately unable to access the restaurant for dinner as fully booked, but breakfast was delicious and well presented. Will definitely return."

"Room was clean and when I asked for a new bathroom bulb it was sorted quickly by maintenance. Sea gulls and pigeons make for a very bad mess around the exterior of the property. Staff very friendly. The balcony area needed more parasols. Your parking cost, when given over the telephone menu said it was £8 so needs updating as the charge at booking in was £10. Overall a good stay it is recommended."

"We had the small twin room very clean , no views as windows were covered and wouldn’t open they were alarmed … and the air con unit was quite noisy it kept going on and off .when customers who had surging switched it on and off . It didn’t spoil the stay for us , but just for information. Staff were excellent location good parking good 10 /15 minute walk down to the front . Bus to south side …"

"It’s billed as a BW Signature but having just come from a signature hotel in Solihull I beg to differ. First impression you pull up and think the gps has taken you to the wrong place no BW signage and a shabby looking exterior. Reception was a serving hatch in the wall find out your on the third floor lift only goes to the 2nd then you have to drag your cases up 2 flights of stairs the room is incredibly small,shower is a corner unit where your elbows hit the sides as you shower nowhere to put...

"The included breakfast was fantastic. Many options and the fresh fruit salad was good quality. Clean and useful bedroom and bathroom with comfy bed and duvet. We had 6 flights of stairs to our room which was fine and expected. The location is a long way from the seaside action but again, expected."

"We’ve had a lovely stay with Raincliffe. Very welcoming hosts, happy to chat and share useful information. We had a really comfortable stay in a lovely room, with a much needed fan! Excellent coffee and breakfast. Would highly recommend. We booked a concert at the Open Air Theatre and walked there and back. Thank you for hosting, we had a great weekend."

"Helpful staff and very handy having the small kitchen. Great location but the area was loud and the guests upstairs were very noisy. We could hear everything. Parking permit provided which was handy for the on street parking. Overall good."

"Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!"

"Habitacion estandar un poco sucia y abandonada. Cuadros y tv torcidos, falta de reparacion de pomos y otras cosas rotas, polvo ... Cable electrico suelto (parecia conexion de tierra) y lleno de polvo debajo del lavabo. Ascensor averiado afectando a numerosos huespedes con discapacidad y con dificultad para subir escaleras con equipaje. Habia fallado varios dias seguidos. Habitacion muy ruidosa por los nidos de aves marinas en las ventanas. Ruido continuo que interrumpe el sueño. Entra...

"A nice hotel with a good sized room, very nice staff & good parking. The hotel is perhaps in need of some modernisation in terms of bathroom facilities, room temperature control & outside areas but has a nice location and aspect."

"Large room with all the basics. Old building but clean . Street noise could be heard. Good location/ easy to walk to from train and to get around. Staff were were efficient."
