The overall cleanliness was poor (had to ask where the broom or vacuum was - no vacuum and found broom outside), sliding doors open/close hard, handles broken, some don't lock, upstairs dryer does not heat, whirlpool tub leaked, hot tub was not cleaned (water may have been changed but sediment on bottom and seats), only 1 blanket per bed, 2 beds were not even on a frame just a mattress laying on the floor (pictures showed a frame so had to call to fix this), no propane (had to take care of this and ask several times to be paid back), no hand towels, wash clothes, or towels to dry dishes, ice machine in fridge doesn't work, only 10 forks and spoons (advertises sleeps 22 but can't all eat at the same time), lock boxes on bedrooms didn't all work (yet say there is a 500 fine if key is lost). Overall, the house is run down and not taken care of very well. The pictures online are a far cry from the reality of the home. We are not a family with expensive taste, but we do expect our basic needs are met for the amount of money this house cost to rent. Never have we stayed in a home that has been so misleading and our family of 16 has stayed in several rentals. Location was good and community pools were nice to have access to. I have called, texted and messaged the host to share our concerns prior to posting a review, and he did not answer my calls or respond to my messages.
