"Nice place with plenty of room. The kitchen was clean and even had an air fryer and blender. The queen bed was a bit soft for my taste but that is a preference not a requirement. The local bakery, Bread of Life, had wonderful pastries and pasties. Joe checked in with us a couple times just to be sure everything was great. And it was. We were near plenty of great places to hike and enjoy the area. If we come back to this part of the UP, we will be checking here again. "

"Becky's place is amazing and has all the comforts of home. Her attention to detail is outstanding--everything you need is there. We didn't have a little one with us, but she has you covered if you are traveling with children. The location makes it easy to explore the area. The wifi was great, and I was able to work from the house. We loved being able to have stay at home meals and get some laundry done before setting out on the next part of our journey across the UP. "We visited my son a few miles away from the condo, so it was perfect! Went to lake superior and hung out had great food at local restaurants! We also visited some other sites on our way there and back, so we know our great granddaughters had a great time!!"

"Roomy older cabin. Very clean, beautiful views. Has everything you need. Very warm cabin in cooler temperatures. Would rent again. Only issue was with guest toilet with flushing...property manager said you have to push in and down. Beautiful fall colors, deers, bald eagle and loons. "

"Amazing property, in great condition and very well appointed! Kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, and we were very impressed that the host thought to provide a baby gate for the steps and door knob covers for the basement door. Beds were very comfortable, with nice bedding. The hot tub was a nice treat after a day of hiking. Host went above and beyond after our stay when we realized a beloved stuffy had been accidentally left behind. Communicated promptly and made sure it was mailed back to us...

"The pace was great! Relaxing and so close to the ski resort and to be honest better than the ski resort conditions as we stayed there two weeks to this stay! It was easy to relax after a long day of skiing and hop in the sauna for some added relaxation and recovery. Being able to make our own food was helpful as the grocery stores are not far at all so you can stick in while there! It was secluded but not too secluded :) would def stay again!"

"Very clean! Plenty of windows for great evening cross-breezes. The location was phenomenal - walking distance to Silver St. What more could you want?!Only disappointment was the bar below was closed all the days we were there - we were hoping to head down there in our PJs for a night-cap and then head back upstairs to bed! Because, come on.....how often could you say you did that?!?Thanks for sharing your penthouse! We'll be back!"
