This cottage is a dream come true vacation spot. Whatever you could want, Elizabeth has already thought of it as your host! Not only was the cottage absolutely stunning, it is stocked perfectly with snacks, board games, and very detailed instructions. She even included a page in the instruction binder about invasive lady beetles and stink bugs! Anytime I thought I needed something that I hadn't packed, it was probably stocked under the sink. She even included a little dog bed for the dog guests.The cottage was extremely comfy and homey and exactly what we were looking for on our trip to gettysburg. The outdoor area is beautiful as well. There is a paddock with some horses, cows, and goats, who are clearly very well loved and cared for. Sometimes they also have treats you can buy for them!Access to gettysburg was incredibly easy from the location as well.We will absolutely be returning yearly to this cottage.

The accommodations were great. It was clean, cozy, peaceful, and relaxing. The amenities were good, and downtown was a 10 min. drive away. It was a great getaway from city life. We would go back.

Cute but small

While the space was very clean, it was too small for us - no closet, no bureau for clothes, very little space to put anything. It was a secluded location with nice animals to see on the farm when you walk the road. Convenient to Gettysburg. But our stay was too much money for the value as well, in my opinion.

We had the best experience staying at Apple Blossom Cottage! No detail was forgotten and we felt very welcome. We have stayed at many eifferent rentals and this was the cleanest one we've stayed at so far! It was a little smaller than expected, but in a nice and cozy way. It was honestly the perfect place to rest after a long day exploring the Gettysburg area (which is justa short and easy drive away!). This was a dream vacation for my husband, and Apple Blossom Cottage contributed to making our time here even better. We even had the chance to try a duck and goose egg for the first time! We are extra grateful our dog Loki could join us, and our host even had a welcome basket just for him! Would definitely stay here again.

Last week my husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights when we moved our son into Gettysburg College for his freshman year. This property is perfect for two people to relax in total privacy. We encounter no issues checking in, and the place was beautiful and clean. We brought some firewood for the outdoor pit and relaxed listening to nature and the crackle of the fire. Owner was very responsive to all my questions, and it is one of the best places we have stayed so far. We will definitely be back!

My fiancée and I needed a weekend away from the normal hustle and grind and we were very happy with apple blossom cottage! The communication with Elizabeth was fantastic if we needed anything she was right there. We really enjoyed the hot tub and just to be able to relax and rewind. Will absolutely do it again!

We loved our two-night getaway at Apple Blossom Cottage, a perfect place to celebrate our 40th anniversary! It's peaceful, private, woodsy, charming, comfy and clean...a sweet little house in a clearing by a pond. We enjoyed morning coffee outside in the Adirondack chairs and by the firepit at night after grilling steaks. We wish we could've stayed another day. Elizabeth is a responsive host and attentive to the many little details that made our stay so delightful. We highly recommend the Apple Blossom Cottage!

Disappointed & Dissatisfied

Tidy but not clean - shortly prior to check in Host sent a text regarding check-in advising that she personally did a video walk through, to plz advise of any concern, short time later Host sent another text regarding access code to the spa, for us to check it and let them know of any issues. When I checked hot tub shortly after getting the access code, I advised that there was an issue of MOLD/MILDEW on the INSIDE of the hot tub cover. When advised of the issue host stated that it did not effect the hot tub, but she sent husband down to “lock it up” and “change it back to the correct cycle” and to check on the hot tub - she did not, nor did he ever mention when he arrived that he was going to clean the cover at that time, or even let us know when he had finished checking it, host did refund the hot tub fee. Since the hot tub was the main reason we chose this property, we left at 7am next morning and I sent Host text msg advising that we left the premises at that time. We were only there for 15 hours. Host thanked me for advising that we had left. However, when I inquired about a refund for the two unstayed nights, Host refused to give a refund.Please understand that the host and I did exchange text messages and only then did she advise me of her husband cleaning hot tub or indicate that if I would have told her WHY we left early when we left that she would have issued refund. I don’t believe that to be true or out of common decency I would have my refund…

We had a couple of minor issues which were resolved within 6 hours. Cute little cottage close (10 to 20 minutes) to most sights in Gettysburg. Hot tub not being clean and a couple of ants in the cottage are the only reasons that it was a 4 out of 5.

Great location

We very much enjoyed our honeymoon stay at Apple Blossom Cottage over the July 4th weekend. Perfect location - a private secluded spot and yet so close to Gettysburg. The cottage was clean and tidy and the decor was so nice. Sitting by a bonfire at night listening to the bullfrogs was fun and relaxing. Communication with the host was great too. I recommend Apple Blossom and am hoping to return sometime.
