Awesome place with great views and plenty of activities for fun. There isn't much to do in the town but we didn't feel the need to leave the property. This gives a resort feeling with pool, game room, huge yard, multiple areas to sit and enjoy conversations, various ways to cook food etc.With family and friends, we enjoyed our time there. Perfect Family Vacation!We had a group ranging in age from 21 to 81 years old looking for a relaxing vacation time, and this property was exceptional!Just a short drive across the border (less than 10 minute wait) and outside of Oroville, we hardly left the house all week - with the pool, games room, huge deck and yard and sun room/pizza oven, we did not run out of things to do. The house is very well equipped (with two kitchens), and had everything we needed.Although there is an "airport" behind the house, there were no more than 2 takeoffs per day. We did walk the Similkameen trail to the Enloe Dam one morning, and another day went to Oliver, BC for some wine tastings. Our group felt like we had more than enough room, with all the adult kids sharing the queen size bunk room, and ability to spread out over two floors.Communication with the owner was very easy, Amber was very responsive to all of my questions to help me plan our vacation. The sunsets every night were spectacular, and the area very quiet. We would love to return in the future!

Excellent Stay!!

Both adults and kids had lot of fun at Oroville House. An excellent property with lake views. Kids spent most of their time in outdoor pool and the gaming room; and so did the adults. Bocce ball and game of croquet was liked and played by all. Although we did quite some cooking but it was fun especially the wood fired pizzas. It was our first time and probably the last time as well cooking in a wood fired oven. ;) One night we went for star gazing like a Mile away from the house. And that was so awesome. Clear skies and no moon. Milky Way seen clearly. So many constellations visible clearly. Satellites moving around and then came the best part: a shooting star. So cool. We all just enjoyed at house. Went no where outside except for star gazing. That says how comfortable we were at the house. Thanks Amber and Cody for hosting us!!

Such a great getaway!!

We stayed at this property for a week and had such a great time. Us adults enjoyed hanging out in the top deck and enjoying the view. The kids LOVED the pool and the game room. All beds were super comfy and the kids thought the bunk room was so cool. Highly recommend!! Owners were so kind and attentive to our questions both before and during our stay.
