The house has many great amenities, is well stock, is located close to the beach. We did run into some technical issues, but they were always responsive. If you are looking for a peaceful location, I highly recommend.

Daytona Speed Week

The house was very well maintained, clean, and nicely decorated. It had a smart TV in all the rooms and the kitchen had all the amenities. It was nice to come back from the races and relax in the hot tub and swim in the pool. The back yard was land scaped nicely and had a nice patio under a 2nd floor deck. There were plenty of places to eat at as the property is located between Flagler Beach and Ormond Beach. We will definitely look to stay in the future trips.

The communication was excellent. Immediate response to any questions. The house is in a perfect location. The neighbourhood is friendly and welcoming. The easy access to the beach, town and highway while in a quiet neighbourhood was exactly what we wanted. The backyard is amazing. The fence was great for our dogs. The decks provided the necessary shelter so we could sit outside when the temperature was cooler. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again in the future.

Our daughter’s graduation gift was a month at the beach (her favorite place). It was absolutely amazing and we were sad to leave. We had so much fun and we had everything we could possibly need at this vacation home.

Great Time at Ormond by the Sea

We stayed at this wonderful home for the entire month of May and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The photos and amenities matched our expectations perfectly, providing a truly exceptional experience. Located just a few houses away from the beach and ocean, and boasting a fantastic backyard with a pool and hot tub just steps away, the setting couldn't have been better. The house is fully stocked with all the essentials, and numerous conveniences are only a short drive away. We brought our dog along and enjoyed making new friends in the neighborhood during our morning and evening walks—everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The layout of the home was ideal for hosting additional guests who needed their own space. The owners were responsive and friendly, promptly addressing all our questions and requests. If you choose to stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Avalon by the Sea

My husband and I stayed here for a month. This house was spacious and extremely clean. Fully stocked kitchen with all you would need, cookware, small appliances and utensils. Our host, Tina, was always available and answered any questions immediately. She couldn’t have been more hospitable and made us feel very welcomed. Our daughters and grandchildren visited us at different times. Having a suite with living room, bathroom, laundry room and bedroom on the first floor was perfect. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen. The deck on the second floor was a favorite, always a cool breeze and we saw several space launches from the deck and the beach. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The beach was beautiful and only a 4 min walk at the end of the street. This beach was never crowded and we enjoyed the ocean waves and many walks picking up shells. We spent a lot of time in the heated pool and hot tub. The backyard was a pretty oasis with palm trees and a beautiful patio and grill. There is also a convenient restaurant Lagerheads just 2 blocks from the house. They have great food and live music. I would highly recommend Avalon by the Sea for an enjoyable vacation.

Great place, great location, great time!

We loved staying at this house for a month. The home is comfortable and large, we loved the hot tub, deck. A 2 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of hiking nearby. Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels/sheets/blankets, tv's. Pool never really got warm enough with the weather, but that made the hot tub even better. Lovely hosts who even left a gift basket and full Christmas tree. Not sure our knees can handle the stairs next year.

Great House

Lots of space, with 2 separate living rooms. Quiet street. Open concept living area. Ideal for families or multiple couples. The upper and lower covered decks allow you to sit outside even on a rainy day. The back yard oasis is beautiful and calming with the pool water falls and being able to hear the waves of the ocean. The beach is just a few minutes walk away. Lagerheads, the local bar and grill has good live music and food everyday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great beach house in a perfect area!

We had a great time staying in Ormond Beach at Avalon by the Sea. The house is very spacious and decorated beautifully. We cooked in a lot while we were there and the Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and has up to date appliances. There were a lot of personal touches that I appreciated being there such as board games, a few toys for small kids and even hair dryers in each bathroom. We forgot a lot of that stuff, so when we arrived and found that they had it, it was such a bonus. We had everything we needed! The outdoor and pool area were amazing. The backyard has complete privacy and the yard was maintained really nicely! I was a little disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working while we were there. But Tina let me know ahead of time and it was something out of her control that couldn't get fixed in time. But, the pool was so nice that we didn't even miss it! I wasn't sure how I would feel about the walk to the beach since I couldn't tell how far it was, but it was perfect. My little ones had no trouble walking and it only took a couple minutes. Some days, we hopped in our truck and parked near the beach and that made the convenience even better. Definitely a great place to stay!

April in Avalon by the Sea

We have rented over a dozen homes in Florida on VRBO and this treasure was the best find by far. The photos do not do it justice. Upon arrival it was the cleanest one yet. The kitchen and bathrooms were all updated and well equipped. The heated pool and private backyard with new gas grill were just what we needed. The proximity to the beach was better than expected and there was a beach wagon to get the chairs and boogie boards to the uncrowded beach. We were a bit nervous of the spiral staircase and steep steps but our 3 year old grand daughter got used to them quickly with no issues. The leaking hot tub was a disappointment that the owners tried their best to have dealt with promptly. All communications were quickly replied to. Check in and check out were easy as well. We would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again ourselves since the neighbors were so friendly and the property so clean.
