"We loved our stay here! It was cute and quiet, the owners were so welcoming and kind — eggs from their hens, some wood to make a campfire, a path to the river to explore…if you have kids, there’s a fabulous ice cream shop nearby with a fire truck you can sit in (it also has a slide!). Crystal Lake is nearby, and the cabin is located between Jay Peak and Burke Mountain, so it’s really great for outdoor enthusiasts. The cabin is on a quiet street with a sidewalk, which my toddler loved for riding...

"Perfect little hideaway to ride out a record-dumping spring snowstorm. Location halfway between Stowe and Jay Peak, easy access, amenities nearby. Lovely setting, quiet. Eric was a congenial and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful views and plenty of space in this lakeside house and cottage. There were 6 of us and the space was perfect. Even though the weather didn't cooperate we made the best of it. Lots of games and fun! Loved the porches for our morning coffee. Living area was nice and cozy with plenty of seating. We hope to return in better weather to take advantage of the private dock and firepits. Thanks for sharing with us!"

"We had beautiful week. Nice cabin. The screen porch overlooking the lake was great. Owner was very nice. There was nothing in listing about bedding not provided. Pictures were taken with bedding on the beds. A Dock would have been huge plus. Very good value for the price."

"This was our first VRBO booking and we couldnt ask for a better place to stay! The house is beautiful and more than comfortable and so clean. We loved the yard and the outdoor fire pit while enjoying tubing in the snow! A perfect getaway! Close to downtown grocery store, bakery, pizza and gas- adorable town. We will definitely book The Copper Mouse again and next time for a longer getaway! It was the greatest experience making the best memories. Thank you again."

"The original parts of the cottage like the floors, kitchen sink and the swing on the beam were complemented with the updated bathroom and bedrooms. The record player was a nice nostalgic touch to a relaxing weekend. Easy drive to Jay Peak. In the winter it may be hard to park two cars. Looking forward to staying again next season."

"Cottage was perfect! Very comfortable and had all the cooking supplies we needed! Older community for sure so glad we had a low key intention for our weekend. The best part was the private beach that only a few others were using at the same time so it felt like we had it all to ourselves! We would absolutely stay here again!"

"This is a a comfortable, spacious cabin with everything new inside, and very clean. Comfortable beds; the kitchen has everything, even a dishwasher, and there is a washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a metal spiral staircase to the upper loft that was fun for the kids (the listing pictures show a steep ladder, which was apparently replaced). The bathroom and the bedroom have fashionable sliding barn doors (though we may have preferred real doors for privacy). The cabin is located near a local...

"Près de lacs et du mont Pisgah. Chalet pas très luxueux mais avec toutes les commodités mais odeur d’humidité lorsqu’on arrive. Lits confortables. Petit désagrément concernant le dépôt de sécurité, on me l’a chargé lors de la réservation au lieu de seulement le mettre de côté."

"We visited for a weekend, to attend a local graduation. The house is lovingly cared for - immaculate, well appointed, and in a serene setting. Jim is lovely, too. The grounds and dock are great and the water looks crystal clear. I would recommend this rental without hesitation."
