"The Host was the most friendly and sweet person. The gardens were amazing. They were having some troubles due to a fire that had happened nearby, but they were the most accommodating and amazing people! My 2 year old loved walking around and snacking on a fresh picked apple, or berries and watching chickens. Was an amazing stay!"

"We loved our stay in the cottage. My wife now wants me to build one just like it somewhere. Big enough to not feel cramped, but not too big to where it becomes expensive. The screened patio was enjoyable, we ate dinner and breakfast there. The AC worked great and was very comfortable inside!"

"Wonderful home with lots of space to spread out. We cooked many meals and found all we needed to prepare them. The bed was comfy and we could hear the ocean waves on the clear nights. Great place for our visit to the Redwood National Park! Highly recommend this place!"

"Really enjoyed staying in this former chapel, the former St Thomas church AFAIK. Neat and tidy, well appointed and provisioned. We chose to sleep on the murphy bed. Great place to stay if you're visiting Redwoods State and National Parks. We saw a herd of Elk at the Orick elementary school yard during calving season - it was magical."

"The place was perfect for our party of 4. A bucolic setting less than a mile from the beach. It affords quiet evenings with spectacular star gazing. "This is our 2nd year of staying here in August to celebrate birthdays and our anniversary. It is a beautiful home in a gorgeous location and sleeps all 9 of us.. The pool was wonderful and used every day as it was over 100 degrees every day!! The few issues we had last year were all addressed (AC in the pool house, extra fan upstairs). Our only small problem this year was that we couldn't use the dishwasher as there were no dishwasher pods/soap, so we had to do dishes for 9 people after every...

"Elk Meadow Cabins is lovely. I love the location in the Redwoods and the Elk roaming around. The Beachcomber Suite is very nice. Very homey. The bed is nice and the kitchen is everything you could ask for. They make checkout and check-in easy. I have been back several times."

"La habitación era de las reformadas recientemente (Según la chica de la recepción), el suelo estaba hundido lo cual hacia que la cama estuviese inclinada, mas alta de los pies que de la cabeza, la habitación no esfaba barrida,todo estaba sucio.El motel esta que se cae a trozos, no entiendo como puede estar anunciado o como puede tener permiso para ejercer como hotel."
