Home Away from Home

Vacation home was as described on the website. The home was clean and spacious, accessible to nearby restaurants and shopping centers and malls. I would recommend staying here. A Home away from Home.

Great stay

Amazing place. I have stayed at this resort several times before and this house was by far the best. Super clean, and well stocked kitchen. Had a maintenance issue and the team was quick to respond to email and her situation rectified. Will definitely book through them again

When I arrived at my home, I found the front door wide open at 12:00am. I searched the whole house for safety. I ended up repacking everything to leave the next day because the door code did not work. When I returned, I found a red door tag stating the code was inop at first. The master bed makes so much noise, you cant sleep in it. The small living room couch is so worn out 2 people can't sit side by side. My first time with VRBO and my last.

Great resort close to parks

This house has a great location, great soroundings near the Orlando Parks and so much more. Few things were not as expected but overall is a good house. Masters bedroom is spacious and the King size bed very comfortable, upstairs beds were not as comfortable. If you are staying with a big group and you are planning on cooking a lot like we did you might find that the kitchen needs more utensils like spatulas and kitchen tongs. It does has plenty of silverware and plates. The starter kit for kitchen and bathroom did not work for us. They forgot to leave the starting kit for the dishes. I text the manager about it and the answer was very quick but the items they call "sojo box" came next day around 4pm. We have piled up dirty dishes for 24 hours. Also the sojo box has cheap liquid dish soap. A/C works perfect and the pool is nice, the only thing negative is that the house does not have pool chairs to lay down around the pool. They do have TV's but not Smart TV's in any of the rooms. The house has few things that were broken like some of the cabinets in the kitchen, one of the dishwasher trays, the light under the microwave, sink in master bathroom was clogged and masters tv remote was not working. Few things here and there and for what you paid, that is not cheap, you expect a house in better conditions. I stayed in Solara Resort before in a different house and it was well maintained. I will definitely stayed in Solara Resort again but a different home.

House and setting was great and location was good. We were disappointed our pool heat was cancelled and credited. We asked a couple of times once it warmed up but felt we were kind of given the run around. Very disappointing when the houses next door had pool heat and were enjoying their pool and we couldn’t. Really diminished our stay.

Great house and location

Great house, resort and area. Loved having our own pool that was very clean! Felt at home and lots of storage space! Only thing I didn't like was the people before us put dirty dishes in the cabinets so we had to wash all the dishes when we got there just to be safe. House had everything we needed!

Beautiful home

Everything I expected only thing is tv wasn’t working in the living room they said they sent someone to fix it but my husband fixed it the last night there. Everything else was five stars.

Not as pictured, very uncomfortable

This house is NOT welcoming or comfortable. Everything felt cheap or dirty. We found used masks under dressers and beds. There is one couch in the living room with dirty throw pillows on it and a small couch in the loft. In order for our family of 7 to sit together in the living room, we had to pull chairs from the kitchen table. The house was bare minimum. They clearly don’t want you staying long. The outdoor patio has three chairs and one small round table, not the big table with 6 chairs like in the listing photos. Lights in several of the rooms were burned out and were unable to be replaced during our stay. At one point we received an email from the management accusing us of not letting the pool company clean the pool and because of our “refusal the pool would become green and un-swimmable” for the rest of our stay. The pool company never even showed up on the day we supposedly refused them service. It was all very frustrating. Linens showed up that we supposedly requested but we never did so I hope we weren’t charged for those. There seems to be a major delay in their system to process guest requests. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and everyone from my young children to my elderly parents complained of back problems during the trip. The rooms got very hot at night and there was only one fan in one of the guest closets and no ceiling fans. Solara itself is a nice resort but I would not recommended this house.

Great home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved how spacious and modern the home is and especially loved that we could bring our dogs! The beds were comfy, showers had great pressure, pool heat was nice and warm so that you could swim even in January! The layout of the house is nice with a master suite downstairs and 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a separate bonus area/TV room upstairs. Nice that there is a restroom just off the pool area also so you're not dripping pool water through the house. Casiola leaves some items to get you started- toilet paper, one small roll of paper towels, a small packet of dish soap and sponge, a small box of laundry detergent, and coffee supplies (coffee, filters, sugar, powdered creamer) for your first morning as well as salt, pepper and spray oil, and a welcome snack, which is nice and more than I have seen other rental companies do.Neighborhood is gated and newer (about 2017/18) and has great amenities- a large heated pool with a stand where you can order drinks and food, restaurant/bar, kiddie splash playground area, regular playground with rubber ground, flow rider surfing area, soccer field, basketball court, sidewalks for walking. All of this was within a short walk of this house. Neighborhood pool was warm enough to swim in on a sunny 70 degree day in January although not quite as warm as the heated pool at the house itself. Great location for driving to Disney and tucked back a little so it's not right in the busy Kissimmee area.The check in process was easy, just show your ID at the gate and use your access code on the door to get in. Check out was simpler than most homes we've rented - just wash dishes, make sure trash is out, set temp to 75.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property that I stayed in was a pet friendly house. I was fine with that I have a one year old French Bulldog. The house smelled like a pet. The carpet was old and needs to be replaced. The hot water does not stay hot long enough for two people to shower.I did not like the fact that they charged an additional cleaning fee due to dog hair being on the tile floor and two urine stains on the tile floor. They also charged me for stained carpet when there is no more life in the carpet.The carpet is horrible.Overall stay was okay besides them charging my card an additional $400.00. I thought that was ridiculous due to the home being a pet friendly home.The house is okay once you look past the carpet and the hot water.The deal breaker for me was the $400.00.I will not be staying with Casiola anymore. The acted as if the home was trashed. It eas not I would never allow such a thing to happen. I have stayed with them before and had no issues. I was very disappointed when tbey decided to charge my card.
