BEWARE don't waste your money
The outside of the home is beautiful but do not let the pictures fool you inside furnishings are cheap and broken. There are several problems with this home that may not even be listed here.
Fire ants- located on kitchen counter, Movie Theater in all of the chairs and carpet. In the upstairs sofas and under the bricks outside around the pool so when going for a swim you disturb the ants and the come out by the dozens. So I went and purchased some ant spray to try to help minimize the amount of bites we had. Son woke up to several bites from ants.
Dining room- 3 broken chairs
Bedrooms- some lamps worked some did not and knobs missing on others.
Remotes did not work in 60% of the home including bedrooms and theater room. I thought maybe the remotes just needed new batteries so I went out and purchased batteries and none of them worked with new batteries as well.
Upon arrival and checking the home noticed the upstairs was extremely hot and stuffy looks at the thermostat and the screen is dark and cracked contacted the company via the app was instructed to call an 800 number. It is kind of hard to get in contact with someone at the 800 number when check in is at 4 and they close at 4 on a Saturday. Gentle man came, replaced the thermostat, and stated that I may be charged because they previously did a walk thru and did not have that damaged listed. But if a thorough walk thru was completed the ants would’ve been noticed.
I specifically rented this home for the theater and I did not work the entire time, I messaged through the app and once again was instructed to call the 800 number which I had to wait until Monday to do it because they are closed at 4 on Fridays and don’t come out for things this small until the weekdays. When he did come to try to fix it he said he couldn’t fix it and unplugged it. Before leaving was asked about the remotes and televisions and he stated a separate, work order needs to be placed for that. I paid more for this specific home for this theater and should be reimbursed something for this trouble I could’ve rented a home without a theater for cheaper if I didn’t want one.
Pest control came out the day before our departure after putting in the request like instructed days before.
No instruction book on how the home is supposed to be left so I was left in the dark on that.
Whomever is renting this home does not care about your stay they just want the money. BEWARE and save your money.
