My family & I stayed here for the Christmas holiday week, and although communication with the Host was timely the condo itself was not up to a good standard. Upon arriving we noticed that furniture was old and very badly bruised, the bed sheets were not cleaned, the bathrooms were not cleaned properly, there were marks and damages to the walls, there was no bedhead on the beds in the 2nd bedroom. In fact, I had to buy cleaning supples to clean the two bathrooms.This was not my family's first time staying at the Vista Cay condo complex, and our first experience at another condo in this complex was of a high standard and very well cleaned! This condo requires immediate update and repairs and the cleaning company need to be enhanced!!! I rate this a 2-stars if persons are not particular about having a clean and nice place to stay for such a high price.

Volleyball Nationals Stay

My daughter and I rented the condo because she had a volleyball tournament at the convention center. The condo was within walking distance of the convention center which made it convenient. The Publix near by was an added benefit. The condo was listed as a 2 bedroom but was actually a 3 bedroom. If I had known that I would've had another parent/daughter stay with us. Each morning I went for a 4-5 mile walk and felt safe in this area. In all we had a good experience and would stay there again.

Needs maintenance!

Vista Cay resort is a great resort and is super convenient if you are going to spending time at the convention center. This particular condo needs some work done and a few upgrades. The master bed frame is broken and held up by 2x4’s, there are several drawers broken or missing knobs, lightbulbs were burned out, outlets that weren’t functioning, the refrigerator has something all over the side of it that I couldn’t wash off and any time you open the freezer door water come out of the ice dispenser and gets all over the floor. The garbage disposal didn’t work but they installed a new one the next day. There were lots of extra pillows but no pillowcases available and it took 3 days to get some delivered. There are NO extra linens of any sort. The kitchen has some things you need for cooking, but was sorely lacking. There was no bowl bigger than a cereal bowl, no baking sheet or pan of any kind, and the rest of the dishes and cookware is minimal. There was a stove, oven, microwave, blender, toaster and coffee pot. The host was fairly responsive to questions, other than taking several days to get pillowcases, but gave minimal information unless asked for including check in procedures. The on-site property manager was very good. I would definitely stay at this resort again, but probably not this actual rental.

Great place for the weekend

This was a great place for our weekend. Super close to the convention center. Not far from Disney. Overall a great location. Place was clean, and well maintained. We would definitely return.

Great weekend Visit

Great stay. Clean nice condo. Enjoyed the pool and great drinks at the pool. Location was perfect for a great stay. Publix and good Diner within walking distance. We will be back!

Unfortunately a dump

There was an apparent maintenance issue with the property booked and the host gave us another unit that was not at all comparable to the booked condo. We did not receive any notification of the change and were surprised when we arrived at the unit. It was a dump, walls and floors were filthy, and furniture and fixtures were in disrepair. The unit looked nothing like the one in the pictures nor did it have a view of the fireworks we were hoping to see. Incredibly disappointing and unacceptable. We left early, which the host did refund the unused night, however that is not enough to rectify the situation and now I've had to put in a claim with VRBO and my credit card company - completely aggravating. The situation could have been avoided with some communication from the host prior to our arrival.

Not as clean

The property was pretty decent however, it was lacking a very good clean there where crumbs on the sheets and a pill in the fold out bed. Which was pretty ridiculous. Other than the cleanliness l, location was great and the pool was awesome.

This property was very nice. Had a starter kit. Very clean. Great location and quiet! The only problem we had was the code for the door reset before we were supposed to check out, but thankfully we weren’t locked out as we didn’t all step outside at the same time. Overall great experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is close to major Orlando attractions. The condo was clean and simply but adequately furnished for 2. Living room seating would have been a bit tight for four adults. Loved having en suite laundry. The gated complex is quiet and a grocery and several restaurants are within walking distance. The complex has 2 pools and a workout room, which we had good intentions of using, but were engulfed in vacation lazy mode. LoL

Very nice resort, well oragnized check in/check out process.

We stayed at Vista Cay for three nights in March. The owner/property manager was very thorough and did an excellent job with check in/check out process. Could not have been easier! Kept us informed via email and checked on our satisfaction more than once. The property was very clean and in a great location. Plenty of stores around and close to Universal but just off the beaten path; which helps with traffic. A nice blend of tourist attractions and local living. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Good location, very nice complex

The complex is clean, safe, well maintained, and convenient to shopping and all parks yet not congested with traffic. The ponds provided a great place to walk your pet and get plenty of exercise. The "Gentle Breeze" condo needs some updating and lacks some needed cooking and baking equipment but provided a comfortable dog friendly stay.

Beautiful property located close to Universal Studios.

Denise was accommodating and responsive. She did everything possible to make our stay great. Property was clean and well maintained. It had a wonderful club house and pool with an acceptable gym. I would never consider staying anyplace else if I returned to Orlando!

Nice condo complex

This is our third time staying at Vista Cay. The condo complex is very clean with impeccable landscaping and a beautiful pool. The area is nice and having a Publix close is handy. Our condo unit was very clean. A few areas look like they needed a touch of paint but again it was a clean, well furnished unit. Easy check in and check out.
