Jerry and Nancy were fantastic hosts. Very attentive and able to answer any question we had. Check-in and out process was very smooth and convenient. The location was fantastic for our family of four. Close to multiple attractions in Orlando. The resort has multiple pools and golf courses as well as other activities that kept everyone entertained. We loved the unit - clean, full kitchen, comfortable furniture - everything we needed. We recommend Jerry and Nancy as hosts and Orange Lake Resort!

Wonderful stay in Orlando

We very much enjoyed our stay at Orange Lake. The resort had everything we needed (multiple pools, restaurants etc.), and our villa was perfect for our family of 4. Very modern and spacious! Check-in process was taken care of and only took us minutes to grab our keys. Overall, the stay exceeded our expectations.

Orange Lake Was Perfection

We stayed for 7 nights and we had 4 adults and 3 children in our group. We had plenty of space for everyone and the resort had so much to do. We stayed in River Island and would have to say that’s the best spot to stay with kids. The lazy river, pool and water slides were awesome. Only 15 minute drive to Disney and 25 minutes to Universal. Would definitely return again and Jerry and Nancy were fantastic hosts!

Awesome week at Orange Lakes

We visited Orange Lakes resort with our 2 teens and one of their friends for their spring break week. Our host Jerry and Nancy Ackerman were amazing.. They meet us at the resort and handled the entire check in process making sure everything was perfect for us. They even brought us 2 bottles of wine and a goody bag for the teens! They were able to get us one of the recently updated villas on the golf course. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath villa in the west village. The villa had been updated with new furniture in the living room, new counters and appliances in the kitchen, new beds in the bedrooms and the baths were newly updated as well.Our place was very nice and easily accommodated 2 adults and 3 teens. The resort itself was beautiful and we enjoyed all the different pools especially river island. Even though it was very crowded during our week the resort is huge and we were able do everything we wanted. We hung out at the pools during the day and went out to eat somewhere different every night. We went shopping at Disney springs and the Premium outlets one afternoon. We also got up early one morning and drove to Treasure Island and spent the day at the beach. That was awesome about 1.5 hr drive from the resort. Orange lakes has so much to do for everyone and the location of the resort is great. Overall this was a fantastic vacation. Thank you Jerry and Nancy Ackerman.

Wonderful vacation spot for the family!

We booked with Nancy & Jerry Ackerman through VRBO & had a wonderful time at Orange Lake Resorts! They gave us great tips and even a little goodie bag for the kids and 2 bottles of wine for us! They responded to any questions almost immediately. The resort itself is kept nice & clean. Lots to do for the family. We switched pools each day and enjoyed that. You have to pay for tubes at the lazy river at the “Riverside” pool. This should be included but it’s not. They had games for the kids to play at the pools. Plenty of towels. We loved it and would definitely come back again!

Our recent stay was fantastic!

We rented through Jerry & Nancy Ackerman. Nancy made the process so easy, and boy, was she attentive to our needs. She took the time to answer questions, and make sure that our special requests were taken care of. We didn't even need to check in. Jerry and Nancy took time to come to the resort to get our room for us! All we had to do was show us at the room. The room was beautiful, clean, and bed bug free. Nancy even took the time to look over the room for us to make sure everything was in order. On top of everything else, we were greeted by a welcome basket consisting of 2 bottles of wine and snacks, which the Ackerman family left for us. I would highly recommend renting from Jerry and Nancy Ackerman, I know I will again. Thanks Jerry and Nancy for making our vacation so great!!

Nice Facilities

This resort has everything you could want in terms of sports and activities. It is easy to access facilities that are not in your immediate village. It is however expansive, so you do have to drive to most activities. The condos in the West Village have been somewhat updated, but some updates include cutting corners like painting the refrigerator instead of replacing it. It truly is a 'something for everyone' resort that is convenient to Disney and other restaurants. I suppose the best compliment is that we would return when we come back to the area.

Our 2017 vacation

We had a great stay at Orange Lake as always. The grounds are well kept as well as the condos. We love staying here because our boys love to golf and it is very convenient since they have several golf courses on their property. We also like the location (close to all restaurants, shopping and not far from Disney/Universal). The condos are your typical condos. We stayed in a 2 bedroom. It is great to have a full size kitchen and to spread out with several people instead of being cramped in a hotel room.

Best Place Ever!!!

We have been coming to Orange Lake Resort every year for the last 4 years. We love it here. The kids (which range from 17 years old to 4 months old) all have a good time. Best family vacation year over year.

GREAT place to stay!

This is a well maintained resort with loads of things to do. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The only thing I think was a bit too much is the extra cash layout for flotation rings for the lazy river, wall climbing, etc. You do need to consider which areas are most important to you because the pools are far apart and you will need to either drive or take the shuttle. I'm certain that the weather helped make this resort more palatable, but we will definitely be back here next year! 365 days is far too long!
