Good place
Resort itself was kind of small, the home was a great size for our family. Had some trouble figuring out how to get in but we figured it out. Payed for the grill but werent able to use it. Called property manager and owner and no response until after weekend was over, but she did reimburse me. All in all we enjoyed the home .

A vacation home
The stay & home were very nice but there were many flaws that can’t be overlooked. the grill needs to be cleaned. we had to replace the shower curtain & clean the bathroom a little bit as there were still hairs on the shower wall, pieces of leftover bar soap on the bathtub ledge, & mold on the curtain. (not a comfortable thing to experience after a day of flying). The property had free wifi available, but you’re constantly having to reset the router to get a connection. (Even with resetting the router, connection issue still occurred while on your phone). There was also a dead beetle in one of the bedrooms but at least it wasn’t alive. & it was the only insect inside the house that we noticed. One of the couches seem to be giving up & ready to meet its maker, too. Overall, we still had a good time.

The House was good with Flaws
PROS - The neighborhood was very nice. Nothing to complain about there. - The Resort Clubhouse was really nice. The pool was great. Also, the front desk receptionist was very welcoming. - The house was clean and very nice. I love how most the pictures were exactly what the house looked liked. CONS - The Home Owner takes forever to respond. They probably respond at most once a day. They also never answer their contact phone number. -The check-in PDF is outdated. You can tell because the instructions don't correlate to the current status of the home and resort. - When we arrived the pool was dirty, green, and overflooded. I contacted the owner to get it fixed. Then they asked me to call the property manager. Who never answered or responded to my texts. There was a lack or communication there. (I did get reimbursed for the nights I wasn't able to use the pool). But the pool never got cleaned by the end of our stay. Summary It was a very nice stay. The pool situation left a bad taste in my mouth though. Also, the lack of communication. Luckily we had a clubhouse pool go to. *Advice - Bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Because endless you pay for an in-between stay cleaning there will not be extra provided.

Review
The property was very nice and in a great location. The billing was easy and easy to upgrade as needed but I called three times before our trip for information and never got a call back after leaving messages. I also called the first day there because they said there was a key for the pool room that I thought the beach towels would be in but the key was not there and I never got a call back . The pool was nicely heated but green until the pool maintenance man showed up on Wednesday and put in 10 gallon’s of chlorine and some other chemicals that did clear it up nicely.

Good overall
Overall we had a positive experience. This property is great for large families that want to be near Disney, Universal, etc. The kids enjoyed the pool at the house and the water park that is part of the complex. On the downside, the property hadn't been cleaned yet when we arrived at 4:00PM. The beds had been slept in and jumped on with muddy shoes. We called the property manager and they got cleaning people ASAP, but we still had to vacate until about 7:30PM. That was annoying since we wanted to get the kids to bed early in preparation for Disney the next day. A number of things were damaged when we arrived: 1. Sprinkler head near the driveway, making it impossible for anyone to approach the house in the evening without getting a major bath. 2. Closet doors in two of the bedrooms were broken or off their tracks. 3. The right hand sliding door to the pool was bolted shut with a bracket screwed to the door frame. The left sliding door worked. 4. The right half of the drapery rod support between the living room and the outside pool had its top screw hole stripped. This makes it impossible to install these drapes. We found the rod and the drapery in the closet under the stairs. 5. Queen bunk bed ladder is missing the top rung and the next rung is loose. This makes the whole ladder wobble, so we lifted the kids on and off it. 6. The refrigerator's ice maker doesn't work. 7. The rug in the upstairs living room is a tripping hazard (curled up at the edges). Kids face-planted and adults tripped multiple times as we moved in. 8. Several bathrooms have really slow-draining sinks. 9. The love seat in the downstairs living room is broken and has wood sticking out of it. 10. The cylindrical pillow downstairs has a broken zipper. 11. The TVs were unplugged and the backs of the remote controls were missing.in the upstairs living room and one of the kids bedrooms.

Family together after a year of Covd.
The overall review of the house it was very nice. There were a few things that needed to be addressed. The ice machine was not working (we bought a bag of ice no biggie). There were 14 of us not enough towels(we washed, great washer and dryer). The pool and hot tub, the whole out door area was wonderful. My grandkids lived out there. The bedrooms were very nice. The kids room with the slid beds didn't a dresser or place to put their clothes. The air conditioner was great, just couldn't control upstairs temperature sometimes very cold. We had 3 cars, parking was good using the bar scan to enter was simple. No problems with the entry door. Area is very nice. There are alot of GECKO (small lizards) around the pool area. Living room furniture needs repair. Tv and game area big hit for kids. Thank you from family

Come prepared
Booking this place was easy, communication with property manager was good, and the check-in process went smoothly. However, during our stay we noted the following things: there was no net for the ping pong table. Upon arrival, there were two individuals working on the house (putting a new grill together) until 6pm (2 hours after check-in). There were no trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, sponges, etc. While the description lists the home can sleep 18, there were only 3 beach/pool towels, 3 wash cloths, and about 10 regular towels. On top of this, there was only enough dishes for about 15 people. Thus, dishes were constantly having to be washed. When we arrived, we noticed some of the chairs at the bar were covered in sand. Throw blankets that were kept in the closet had a dirty smell to them. The living room furniture was ripped and torn. Master sink would not drain. Garage door was extremely loud, sounding like it was going to break. Queen bunk beds were not secure. (Shifted left right/back and forth with 30lb toddler) No accommodation for children (all dishes are glass). None of the furniture (bookshelves, entertainment centers, dressers) were secured to the wall. This poses a huge tip-over liability with children in the house. In addition, the TVs were sitting on top of these devices. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but future renters should be prepared of these inconveniences/ hazards prior to their stay.

Great stay!
Although a little stressed about the reviews, we did have a great time and the property manager eased my fears. Only problem I had during the stay was the security told us they needed to call for authorization but no number was provided so I had to go and call property manager to get resolved then during the stay they said the same thing but once we said we were already there and had our stuff inside they let us in. Other than that our stay was good. Would definitely stay again when we decide to make another trip.

Horrible vacation
Checkin in was supposed to been at 4pm we wasn’t available to checkin u til after 7pm the home had not been cleaned upon checkin. During this time the Property Mgr did not communicate after calling her several times. The home did not have clean comforters we was inconvenienced to purchase laundry supplies to wash lining, No tissue, no dish detergent and no wash clothes. This was by far the worst vacation experience ever. I will not be staying at another VRBO property! Poor communication and very unprofessional.

I was very impressed with the property overall. There were a few things that were broken when we arrived, a couch and a kitchen chair. The trash was not picked up every day, even though we followed the pick-up procedures. Sometimes it was not picked up until I called to tell them it was not picked up.

Not the best stay
We have rented in this complex before. Unfortunately our stay this time was not as smooth and we experienced a number of issues. The access code was not provided prior to our arrival as expected. The front desk of the complex had to contact the emergency number so we could gain entry to the property since we were unable to get ahold of the property manager. We heard back the following day from the property manager. The pool heat was not turned on until day 3 of our stay even though we had paid for it in advance. Once that was rectified, the water was perfect for the duration of our time though. The BBQ was taken away from the property mid stay due to a miscommunication between the property manager and the rental company. The property manager was responsive and did refund for the days we were unable to use the grill. The property itself was not well maintained and was not exactly as pictured. My son was so excited about the bunk bed room with the slide and tent below. The tent and slide were taken down prior to our stay which was disappointing. One of the beds and a couch were broken. The slider out to the pool was very hard to open/close as well. There were no paddles or ping pong balls for the ping pong table. The shuffle board in the garage didn’t have enough sand to use. Overall, the property had more wear and tear than we expected. I would not rent this particular place again due to the issues we encountered.

Update the property
Need to update the place ASAP according to the amount she charges. The floor was dusty. The sofa had cover up patches all over. Long hair behind sofa. The carpet is terrible it was so dirty feet turned black. 18 people were on our group but there was not enough supply for cleaning or even toilet paper. Chair was broken by the island. The slide in kids room was broken. Pool table was missing 1 ball. The swimming pool had lot of bleach in it that it turned out swimming suit to a completely different colors. The living rooms sliding door was not opening all the way. We had to check out one day early because it was a terrible stay.

House was great! The parking pass process needs to be streamlined.
We enjoyed our time here. The property manager was great to work with. She has excellent communication skills. The house had everything we needed to kick off your stay. I read previous reviews and came prepared with additional trash bags and rolls of paper towels. The only reason we would be apprehensive about staying here again is the parking pass process. After you've been granted access to the community by the guard, you have to go to the welcome center and stand in line for a mandatory parking pass. This applies to guests visiting for a few hours as well. We each had to wait for over 45 minutes to receive a pass on the day of arrival. By the time we arrived to the house, we were irritated. Again, the house was great! The parking pass process was a bust.

Perfect low key getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return annually! The house is beautiful and functioned perfectly for our party of 13. Both the kids & adults all had a blast. The only suggestion I have to improve the rental property is to add a can opener & mixing bowls to the available kitchen utensils. Highly recommend this property!

Great property for groups!
We really enjoyed our stay! It would be nice to have some mixing/serving bowls at the house as we did a lot of cooking there. It is a very spacious house that was wonderful for our large group. The house is layed out very well. We had a group of adults and small children, having a suite on the main floor was perfect for the couple that didn't have kids.

Experience of our stay
The property was perfect size for our family and accommodations fit us well. We had difficulty with pool temp, icee plastic wrap was floating in pool, pool key was missing, portable crib and high chair were not there when we checked in that we stayed we needed. After a few phone calls it was delivered. We did not have enough towels and washcloths for our family. Pillow shams and comforters were dirty. Very limited kitchen utensils, plates and accessories. Pots and pans had Teflon peeling off and left in food when used. Needed to purchase items which added to additional costs for us. No kitchen towels or dishrags, soap. Kitchen stools had broken spindles. Smoke alarm went off thanksgiving day and could not reach anyone to take care of. Each time we called Parmella our concerns were listened to and followed up on other kitchen items and clean bedding. The management was very poor but I don’t believe them owners are aware of these issues. I recommend they visit the unit more often and perhaps hire a new management crew. Especially cleaners! I would come back here if I knew these issues are resolved.

Amazing family vacation!
Our family travels to the area yearly and this was by far our favorite rental! Arriving at the property we were extremely happy with the community the home is located in and how well kept the property is. The home is BEAUTIFUL, every single room was well thought out and planned, everyone felt comfortable with their space. I am not quite sure if we can tell who enjoyed the home more, between the adults and the children! The pool is a decent size, with a good amount of seating and the grill was a great touch. All bedrooms were very comfortable, bathrooms were great. Having two family room areas was awesome as the adults and children were able to have their own separate spaces to wind down. We will definitely be going back! Thank you Permella for this amazing space, we really enjoyed our stay!

The house itself is beautiful and clean, the kids had so much fun, we wish we can enjoy the house more, we left early and came home late every day. I wish there were more cooking utensils, such as cutting board, baking sheets, not enough towels for 18, no toilet paper to refill, the temperature for the spa was too cold. Overall, we had a wonderful stay !

Beautiful memories
After getting out arrangements lined out quickly it was a good stay. Our home had been double booked but the agency quickly got us a new home and upgraded us. They did all they could to make accommodations for us. All in all it was amazing. 10 bed 8 bath home with two living rooms. Two grudges and two dishwashers to handle the large family. Beautiful family pool area that was not crowded at all. Lovely community style living. Quite and enjoyable. Thank you for working to accommodate us this trip turned out to be amazing.

This was our first experience with VRBO. So, you can imagine how nervous we were bringing our family of 16 to Florida. We were ecstatic with the property and our entire experience. Amazing vacation.
It was the most amazing 5 days that I have experience for a long long time. When I usually get a minute to take a vacation I would have gone to a hotel. The experience of getting a full house with all amenities included was amazing. The house was spotless. the pool, the jacuzzi was a paradise for my kids. the bed was so comfy. we were able to cook, wash, it was really amazing. we played pool, table tennis, soccer. the kids cannot wait to book it again. Thank you Mrs. Permella for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. We cannot wait to return.

Senior Trip
We stayed their 5 nights and it was nice. The first night the pool was green, no water in the hot tub, the hot water was not working upstairs, no A/C upstairs and no internet and cable tv which was tough with 9 teenagers. While at the park the next day, they fixed the problems later in the day but the pool and hot tub were still not heated. The owner did provide pizza for the seniors group the first night which was very nice. Overall it was ok, it could use a few more kitchen items and their was enough room for everyone.

Tammy, It was my sincere delight to host you and the seniors and I am glad you enjoyed the complimentary pizza party which was my gift to the seniors. We sincerely regret that the hot tub switch got stuck that prevented the water from oscillating, But I am thankful that our dedicated property management team responded to fix the issue expeditiously. This was a first time issue and I assure you it was the last time we would have this issue, We would love to know what additional kitchen items will be helpful for your next visit. Perfect vacation for the whole family!
My family has a wonderful time here! We had 3 generations under one roof and there was something for everyone. Permella was responsive and so accommodating! I loved it here and would definitely book this place again!

Quite a memorable exciting vacation
Our stay at the Modern Tropical Oasis was beyond our wildest dream. The home is very beautiful, clean and the kitchen is well stacked. Th 5 star resort was free and quite an un-expected bonus our trip. The kids were ecstatic. We highly recommend this vacation home. Happy Guests.

Very comfortable for party of 13!!
Home is very well decorated and very clean. We had a few small issues but a simple text and was resolved quickly. There was a few kitchen items that aren’t present but we managed without them and informed the owners they’d be nice items to have on hand. All parks are about a 20 min drive and easy to navigate around the toll roads. Definitely will be staying here again if we choose to make another trip to Disney.

Lovely house in a good spot with sun all day
The house was well equipped, only a couple of mins from the resort, very modern and was able to login to Amazon tv on all the TVs which was brilliant for my kids! The outdoor furniture was lovely and comfortable, much better than other villas we have stayed in. The sun is in the pool area most of the day, would definitely come back next year :) thanks

My husband and I had a great time at the Tropical Oasis.
We just got back from a wonderful stay at the Oasis. We spent the Labor Day holiday here. At first we thought it would feel overwhelming for 2 but quickly realized it felt just as comfortable for two as it would for 17. We utilized the private pool and enjoyed having breakfast poolside. This highlighted the convenience of having access to a full kitchen to cook some meals or just to keep beverages and snacks on hand. This also allowed us to sleep in instead of needing to rush out and get breakfast in the morning. The upstairs TV and game room was a very comfortable spot where we spent time catching up on our favorite TV series while sneaking in a few games of ping pong. The clubhouse had a well equipped gym that we used as well as a video game room for kids or the kid at heart. We were surprised to discover the games were free which was an unexpected bonus. This was a memorable getaway for just the two of us but we are certain that our kids would have loved staying here also. We would definitely recommend others to stay here. Stephanie B.
