I submitted pics right after arriving at this place. As did another member of my family. I also stated some of my concerns and disappointments when sent a survey:
1. To begin with, your practice of having guests send you pictures of themselves, ID and credit card via unsecured email is unacceptable.
2. Where on earth are the resort amenities such as clubhouse, kids water playground, lazy river etc shown on the VRBO site? I asked this in multiple messages but never a response!
3. No one answers the phone and when they do, they can only take a message, to which I am still awaiting the call back from July 26th! The people on The chat have no idea about the property and it’s not much of a chat since it takes 20+ minutes to get an answer to each message.
4. The place was filthy, starting from the greasy front porch to the un-vacuumed floors to the gross bbq grill. The couch is completely pilled and had unidentifiable white stuff and food on it. Everyone in my family refused to go near it. And when we tried to grab a blanket from the closet to spread on it, that had stuck-on food on it
5. The carpets are deeply stained, and gross. Instead of a relaxing time, we spent all of our time yelling at the kids to remember not to kneel or touch any of the carpet!
6. The pool didn’t work for the first half of our stay there, and like I said above all of the other resort amenities advertised on VRBO are non-existent, only for a regular community pool.
7. The dirty grill was eventually cleaned half-way during our stay after we sent pics.
8. The cleaning crew who arrived close to 4pm check in time (we saw them arrive) did a bang up job and didn’t have enough time to dry the towels and folded them damp. We had to dry them properly.
9. And don’t get me started on the hairs from previous guests all over the bathroom floor!!
