Disappointing

I took a few days after returning from vacation to give a rational review of this property. As a couple to who travels extensively, the condition and cleanliness of this property is disappointing. I reached out to the host twice. Once on the first day concerning the cleanliness of the property (very dirty doors, dirty blinds & base boards, a petrified dead lizard in the master bathroom, mold in the grout in the shower, lifting of linoleum in the master bath, barely working hot tub jets and broken screen on the lanai). I got an immediate response and the property manager came out to replace the filter on the hot tub & fix the screen but no one else to came to clean). The next day, we realized the Direct TV was not working and the same property manager came out to fix it. However, he was not able to do so. On the last day, we did laundry. We did not realize until our white clothes were done drying that the felt dryer gasket was half-off, and our clothes were wrapped in it which caused dark black marks on several t-shirts and underwear. I recognized the same marks on the sheets we were laying on. So, its clear that this has been a known problem if the sheets that are being washed by the cleaning staff have the same marks that my laundry has. The property needs deep cleaned. The hot tub simply needs replaced-its in disrepair. A partial refund would go a long way to replace the clothes that are ruined.

Amazing home

First thank you for allowing us to stay at your house. The that it is in a safe area, and you are in need of alot of space this is your house. This place is huge and clean. We got to grill on the 4 of July. I have with me litle kids and teens and they enjoyed the pool they didn't want to leave. We have alotbof fun in this place and we have more space than what we need it. Communication with management and owner was fast. They answer questions right away i recommend this house. 👌

Spring Break Get Away

Overall a nice house to stay in the Orlando area. House was clean with enough room to spread out and enjoy. It was nice that the house had basic amenities available. There are plenty of towels and enough soap, tissues and towels to get going.

Plenty of open space but, updates needed. The property could use a thorough cleaning inside and out. The pool was great, but there wasn't any maintenance done with the hot tub, so after a certain time it was unusable. Location was great, enjoyed wildlife, ducks,turtles and sandhill cranes, etc.

Great property, but a few flaws

Beautiful and spacious home for our family vacation! We loved the pool, hot tub and game room! Although the air hockey table didn't fully work (doesn't keep score). After driving for 2 days (20+ hours) to get to our destination, we had wanted to relax in the hot tub, but it wasn't turned on or filled before our arrival. We also found upon arrival there was no toilet paper on the property, even though it's listed in the essential amenities. The property was very clean, with one exception... There was a foul smell coming from inside the refrigerator. There were room deodorizers plugged in, but it didn't help. We attempted to reach the property manager but it was late in the evening and she wasn't available. After speaking to the property manager the next day, her advice was to have us cut an onion and put it in the fridge. There was no offer for someone to come out and clean the fridge. Very disappointing! Great communication with the property owner Alan! Communication with the property manager, on the other hand, leaves much to be desired! Overall, it's a great property, but there needs to be more attention to detail for the price.

Location was great!

This wonderful home was perfectly located to experience all that Kissimmee/Orlando has to offer. The pool overlooking a beautiful well stocked lake was breathtaking. Nice to have such a beautiful place to return to each evening. Thank you for sharing your home!

Everything we were looking for!

We had 7 people, adults and teens, and stayed for 9 nights. We wanted a property with a heated pool and hot tub (not just a jacuzzi) because of the cooler temps in January. Check. We wanted a property that had a fishing lake directly in the back yard. Check. We wanted a games room with both air hockey and pool. Check. We wanted at least 3 bathrooms. Check (there are actually 4!). And most important, we wanted Disney to be less than 15 min from our doorstep. CHECK! Alan’s place felt like a palace! We had so much space! The floor plan was so open and spacious. No matter where we were in the house- it felt like we were still altogether! It was very clean too!! Sunset Lakes is a very quiet community and Alan’s house was on a culd-e-sac, making it even more private and quiet! My only suggestion would be a nice mattress topper for the master bedroom and maybe some pool noodles? But even without those things- I WOULD STAY AGAIN AND AGAIN!! A+++ for communication too!! You will not regret staying here!

Clean and comfortable.

I booked this home specifically for the fact that it had a separate hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub had no power while we were there. We were advised by the pool guy that it had been broken for at least a week and the property manager advised they were waiting on a part to repair. Had I known that ahead of time I would have booked elsewhere. That being said, the home itself is extremely clean and comfortable. The AC works wonderfully! There were no complaints about the house itself. The check in and out were easy and we had a good time.

Very nice home close to Disney

We (family of 4) spent 4 nights here in October for 2 days at Disney parks and a day of relaxing. It was a very close, easy drive to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Lots of places to eat in the area, too. The pool was great for our off day! We made use of the billiards table in the evenings, as well. The house is certainly large enough for our group. It would certainly still be roomy for 8-10 people. The owners were good about answering questions before we booked the house, as well as a few questions that we had afterwards. Check-in was easy. We enjoyed our stay! Thanks!!

Spacious and Beautiful View

This property was great! Very clean with lots of room. Very close to all the Disney parks and activities. The pool and hot tub were great. It was nice to be able to have some meals there vs eating out for every meal. But at the same time, there are plenty of good restaurants and stores nearby.

The perfect spot for a Disney Vacation...

This beautiful 5 bedroom, 3 bath home was located in a gated community and allowed us quick and easy access to all the Disney Parks, Sea World and Universal Studios. Everything was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We would stay again in a heartbeat !!

Amazing!

What a wonderful place to stay, close to all Disney attractions and restaurants/shopping! My kids loved the pool and hot tub and the wife and I enjoyed coffee and sun rises overlooking the water! The house comes with everything you could ever need. We can’t wait to come back and chill another week! Thanks Alan, it was an awesome stay and the whole family truly enjoyed!

The house was nice, we enjoyed our stay. The cable/satellite tv didn’t work, we didn’t call because we were out before the office opened and got back to the house after the office closed during our stay. We were able to watch some things on the smart TVs using our accounts.

Our First Vacay

Our overall experience with Alan was perfect. He was easy to communicate with and reached out when reserving the property with no problem. The problem was when we got there we couldn’t check in until an hour later due to housekeeping still cleaning. When the third housekeeper walked in with food to cook I walked in and asked how much longer and was then told that they weee late getting there and that we could go upstairs because that part was clean. There was still hair everywhere in the bathroom and spiders in the cracks of the walls. Overall cleaning could have been better. When this information was relayed to management along with the internet and cable not working since Tuesday (we checked in Saturday) as far as housekeeping it seems like they pretty much tried to keep in contact as much as they could to make sure the rest of our stay was ok but we were just trying to make the best of it at that point. The kids were happy that we had a pool so that’s all that matters I guess. House overall needs upgrades with a lot. Flooring, carpet, doorknobs don’t lock either.

Attentive Home Owner/Spacious Accommodations

This home is very spacious and well accommodated! We settled into our 10 day stay and made it comfortable. However, we were initially disappointed in some things that involved management- not the owner! We feel he did his best to help us resolve these issues. When we pulled up, the yard and landscaping were grossly overgrown. Although the rain did prevent mowing, the palms and shrubs had been neglected and completely covered the walkway, hindering our ability to even get to the door. We discovered a screen was missing over the pool allowing bugs in and the hot tub didn’t work at all upon arrival… when we reported it, we were told the dryer also did not work. Management reported that they sent us a message regarding these items but we did not notice it due to being on the airplane and in airplane mode as it was sent just prior to arrival. Although disappointed because we were looking forward to a hot tub, we very much enjoyed the pool! The screen was fixed the following day enabling us to utilize the porch and pool the remainder of our stay! The dryer however was a hinderance because it rained the entire time, our clothes were soaked and it wasn’t until Tuesday (we arrived Friday) that we were told the dryer in fact DID work but the nob had come off… we managed to temporarily fix it ourselves— and shortly after management brought us a pair of pliers to use which we didn’t need at that point. We never heard anything else regarding the dryer. They DID come and trim the shrubs and looked much nicer. Overall these things did not ruin our vacation but we felt management could have communicated and FOLLOWED UP! Beds were incredibly comfortable!!! Pool table was fun! Kitchen very well appointed!!! I even made blueberry muffins and was surprised to find a muffin pan!!! The only other thing I’ll mention is there were NO washcloths… the inventory states 12 per bathroom… someone had taken some dish towels and cut some washcloths.. but certainly not 36! Still yet we managed! We made beautiful memories and enjoyed Disney World! The house was so close to EVERYTHING!!! Please bring or get extra trash bags… we were only given 1 extra for our 10 day stay

Would stay again

Stay was great. Really didn’t have any issues. Some updates can be made to the house such as flooring and carpet. Would have liked to see the shrubs be trimmed at the entry way. Rained a lot during our stay and we were always getting wet from the shrubs because it was not a clear walkway to the front door. The dryer took several cycles to dry clothes. I would have appreciated more wash clothes as we had to buy some to use. Other than those few things I was very pleased with the area. Enjoyed sitting out back on the water and listening to the pool fountain run. I would stay again in the future. Very easy process in booking.

This is an AMAZING property

This was our family's first vacation rental so I was a bit skeptical. The low price point of this property didn't seem to match the house as advertised. What a wonderful surprise, I was wrong. This property is EXACTLY as advertised! It is extremely spacious with an open concept and the views are breathtaking. The neighborhood is quiet, the property is close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. Unfortunately is stormed the entire week that we were there but between the game room, television, and pool, we didn't miss a beat. There's even a Cracker Barrel less than two miles away and we were able to have them cater breakfast for the family one morning. The kitchen is well stocked and pool towels were even provided. The host, Alan, was extremely responsive. Check-in and check- out was effortless and personal. He provided detail instructions about anything you can think to ask strategically placed around the house. There's plenty of space to sit and congregate as a family, close to the kitchen and even outside near the pool. There is an alarm system, but we felt so safe, we never used it. My family absolutely loved this property. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 1 child under 5. We had 2 additional adult visitors and we still had PLENTY of room. We will definitely rent here again and our visitors have also inquired about renting the property.

Super quiet neighborhood

The property was as advertised. This was my first house renting experience and it went very smooth. The house was nice and cool. The pool and hot tub a big bonus. This was also my first trip to Florida. Watch out for the sand cranes, as they will come after you and children if you have anything they think is food! The neighborhood is small and quiet. It made for very peaceful evenings after long days.
