This is a large home with a good layout and a convenient Orlando-area location. The private pool and paid pool heat worked well, and overall the house has good bones. Many things functioned as expected; this review focuses on the exceptions rather than the positives.What worked well:Spacious home for a large group, pool and pool heat worked as advertised, and management ultimately worked with us on solutions once issues were identified.Things to be aware of:• Dryer: Not operational on arrival; discovered after finding a box of new, unlaundered towels at the door. Maintenance determined a part was needed and management put a workable plan in place, but unfinished turnover wasn’t ideal.• Maintenance communication: Maintenance came by without a note.• Towels & linens: Low quantity for a house of this size (12 towel sets, no hand towels initially). Washcloths were later delivered. Beach towels were provided but in limited quantity.• Bedding & amenities: No extra pillows or blankets—bring what you need.• Kitchen: Under-equipped for a family rental: worn cookware, no baking sheets, limited plastic dishware, no toddler-friendly options, and an unusable griddle.• Microwave: Missing rotating component.• Garage: Nail head sticking up (safety issue); garage is not heated or air conditioned.• Listing accuracy: Listing shows a spa; none is present.• Community access: Long waits at the main gate; non-owners must use it, which can cause delays on other days.
