Needs some updating!

We have been to Orlando numerous times and this villa was in a really good location close to the I4. The villa itself was great in size but unfortunately needs a bit of updating. The air conditioning wasn’t working to its capacity and the upstairs was definitely warmer and the smaller of the king rooms upstairs was actually really hot at night to sleep in. The games room was unusable due to the heat and the air conditioning unit not cooling the room at all. The kitchen as a previous guest stated hasn’t enough utensils and cooking pans for guests. The netting around the pool had several splits so we had lots of bugs in the pool and we couldn’t even get them out as the pool net was ripped to shreds. After numerous emails to the management company they did eventually send someone out to look at the air conditioning about 4 days before we came home and it still didn’t work even after they looked. They promised a new net but we never did receive one at all. If these things were rectified it would be a great villa and location to stay in.

Great home-Everything easy

House was clean and comfortable as photos show. Check in was easy in fact arrived early and was able to call and they unlocked the door remotely to allow us early check in! Loved the pool at the house and the resort waterpark was great.

Awesome property!!

We loved this house. There were pro and cons. Pro: It was tastefully decorated and clean, the master was on the main. Con: we were there for a week, so I wish there were more kitchen items. Such as a large pot , baking sheet. There was an alarm for the sliding glass door for protection, but it was annoying because the younger kids couldn’t reach the bell. The button has to be pushed for exiting and entry to the pool area. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and rebook this property. ❤️

Family vacation

We had a really nice stay. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and spacious. The only thing we had an issue with was the lack of comforters for the beds. There were only thin blankets.

Nice home with a lovely pool.

A very nice home. The pool was so wonderful and I appreciated having an open field as a backdrop when spending time by the pool. I did feel like the home lacked in basic supplies compared to other VRBO's I have stayed in. For example, there were not any dish rags, dish towels or oven mitts, dish soap, etc. We paid to have a grill to use for the week, but there wasn't a metal grill spatula to use on the grill, so had to make do with a silicone spatula that was in the kitchen. Thankfully there are plenty of retail stores nearby that were able to deliver the items I needed the same day. The linens and furniture were all in good shape and we liked having the game room as a fun bonus. Some of the walls (stairwell) could use a good scrubbing or new paint, but overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Great Family and Friends stay

We had a great stay with family friends. Lots of room, kids loved the games/ps4, pool/spa was fantastic. Only improvements could be cleanliness of the floors, especially garage and main floor. Carpets could be updated as well for cleanliness. These are minor issues overall. Would certain recommend for large families or families sharing. Very close to all attractions and close to Champions Gate shopping.

Nice home

The house was very nice. It was as stated except to welcome package. There was dish tabs or soap for cleaning dishes. I’m a clean freak and a chef. So I had to get cleaning items before cooking. Everything else was pretty much as stated. The weather was cool so we couldn’t use the pool. But it was nice looking lol. The only real problem I had is no fault of the owners due to traffic. Traffic to and from property was ridiculous! Again this is no fault of the owners. The traffic on I 4 is crazy and on RR PKWY. It may only be 15 min from the attractions but it will take you 30-40 min to get there each way. With that being said I would recommend this place due to its quiet and nice clean area. But just pack your patience when driving.

Wonderful villa

We stayed over Christmas at this amazing villa. I highly recommend it. The pool area is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed it, lots of sun because it faces south which for us is really important. There are no backdoor neighbors which was awesome and it was so friendly watching the cows roam the pasture behind the house. The management responded very quickly to some small issues we had and the owners were super nice and accommodating too. Everyone enjoyed lots of space in the house and the beds were heavenly. In fact I have never slept in better beds in a rental. The villa has a nice game room and we loved the Pac-Man machine. Overall a great experience we had staying there. The resort is huge and really nice. I was a little disappointed that it doesn't have a basketball field or a volleyball field as advertised but they are working on correcting that in the website so there won't be misinformation. If you are planning on heading to the parks this is a little bit far away but not too bad though. Lots of grocery stores nearby like Publix. I am so grateful to Paul and Jill for meeting our needs as best they could. This was such a wonderful place to stay with our family and enjoy the best Florida has to offer. Thank you so much ❤️

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay

The house was as expected and compared very favourably with another home we rented in Solterra Resort five years ago. The resort has grown considerably since then, but we still found the location to be quiet with no overlooking neighbours at the back of the house which has a pleasant southerly view. It is quite a distance from the clubhouse if you are thinking of walking, so a car ride up there may be preferred. The house is very comfortable and I highly recommend. The only criticism we have is that for a big family such as ours (7 in total) there was an insufficient amount of cookware, like pans, pyrex dishes and baking trays for those who do not eat out or have take aways every night. There was only one tea towel and no oven gloves so we bought some from Target and left them in the house of other guests to use. Also the pool had turned a shade of green on the last day, despite having been serviced by the pool guy on the previous Thursday, but that may have been down to recent rains. Fortunately, we left just before Hurricane Idalia hit Florida on Wednesday morning and I hope the house didn't incur any damage following what was due to be a tropical storm in the Orlando and Davenport area.

Needs a deep clean

The house was big and nice, modern decor, ac was good, game room was good, rooms were nice my kids enjoy the Paris room and Mickey and every room has tv. Pool was lil on the small side but it was still lots of fun my kids really enjoy the pool. We had a lil problem with wifi first night but after it was good, needs a new tv remote upstairs, kitchen it’s a good size it needs more pans and etc to make a nice dinner. overall it’s a nice place BUT it really needs a DEEP CLEANING everywhere The rooms were okay but everything else really needs a deep clean including baby stuff.

Great Vacation

We had a great family vacation. The house was clean, nicely furnished, and as represented in the listing. The house is a little further from the community pool. Plus dude we had no neighbors behind us and a nice view. Negative we had to drive to the community pool. Only suggestion would be to add hot pads to the kitchen. I would definitely stay again.

Had difficulty in getting in the villa due to key code error, employee at the resort was most helpful in assisting us to resolve this issue. Will definitely revisit when returning to the area.

Clean, spacious, modern with beautiful scenery

The house was sort of a nature lovers’ paradise since it backed up to a grassy area with birds, etc. We loved the amenities on the resort and what the house had inside. It was a great time. Thank you to the owners for sharing their house with us. Only think I will mention is that the house’s alarm system was broken and someone touched it thinking it was the thermostat, and it rang out the most ear piercing noise I’ve ever heard. Just a warning - that it is a cripplingly loud noise - don’t touch it.

Look Within.

We rented this beautiful home for 5 days & enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! The unit was exactly as pictured! The keyless entry was convenient & the audible door alarm for the pool area was a plus. The rooms were nicely decorated & stylish & the kitchen was modern & well equipped w/everything we needed to prepare breakfast & dinners. Our party consisted of 10 people & never did we feel cramped or in need of additional space. The upstairs loft area w/the large screened TV & sleeper sectional was a huge bonus to watch the NBA games & our favorite streaming programs. The arcade style game table was a hit & the A/C never lagged from downstairs to upstairs. There were plenty of bathrooms w/at least 3 of them en suite. The game room in the garage was super enjoyable & included a mounted TV, digital dart board, pool table, air hockey & portable A/C unit. Some of the darts were broken & needed tips but we fixed the problem by purchasing dart-ends from the local Walmart. The downstairs livingroom had plenty of seating for an entire family, as well as the 8 person dining room table. The island was massive & offered a great place to eat & gather while cooking. The updated washer & dryer was super helpful & there were plenty of towels & washcloths to use. The pool area was nice & had plenty of seating & although I paid for pool heat, it only appeared to have worked once after I had placed a call to maintenance & then no longer after that. We decided that calling the maintenance person multiple times/visits was ridiculous & sucked it up that we paid for a service that was splotchy at best. The wifi at the home was a huge assist due to the cellular service for my entire crew was very hit or miss in the area. We did not partake of the water park or amenities due to the large crowds (our personal choice.) And upon check-in we had difficulty receiving our parking passes due to the resort not having received our guest list from the property management company. Eventually the lady at the entrance allowed us passes & entry for all of our vehicles without further headache. The resort has its share of nicely built holmes, but the parking is less than desirable & the amount of trash everywhere was a bit of a disappointment. Overall, the property in itself was fantastic, our trip was loads of fun & this home will be definitely on my revisit list (if available) for our next spin around sun or trip to the theme parks.

Bed Bugs-Do not rent

On the first night of our stay, one of our guests came running downstairs saying that she was bitten by something. Upon further inspection, we noticed that her bed was infested with bed bugs. Completely shocked, I called the emergency number but did not receive a call back until the next morning at 7:52 am. We were told that we couldn’t be moved to another property, however, pest control was sent to the home. Pest control inspected the infested room and saw bed bugs on the mattress in the room that the guest was bitten in. He also told us that there was a possibility that they may have spread to the other rooms upstairs, however, he didn't see any at that time. We were advised to close off the room and utilize the other rooms. Later that afternoon, we identified more bed bugs on the couch upstairs. Several hours later, One of my other guests laid in one of the beds in a different room, and was bitten. Unfortunately, the bed bug bite resulted in an allergic reaction and we had to seek out the nearest urgent care in fear that it would get progressively worse. I called the rental property's emergency number once again and was told that someone would call us. After about an hour or so of not receiving a call, I called again and spoke to another respresentative. I was promised a call, however,didn't receive one until the next morning at 9:13 am. That night all of my guests (4 adults) had to camp out on the floor in the living room and were confined to this one space. We complained to the rental company, and we're told that " it is hard to determine bed bugs in a home" and because we stayed two nights in the home, we could not receive a full refund. They were not very apologetic and seemed as if they could care less about our horrible experience. Do not rent under any circumstances!!!

Beautiful Home

Large beautiful home that worked perfectly for our family of 9. Three of the bedrooms had their own bathroom which worked well. Pool and hot tub were well maintained and the temperature of the water was good. We paid to have the pool heated and we were able to swim everyday. The only disappointing part was the bbq rental. The bbq was very small for a family of 9. Overall - great place to stay!

Wonderful Disney Holiday

Overall our stay was great. Property was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained as expected. There was a pack-n-play and high chair, which was very convenient. Short drive to the grocery store and Disney. Very nice pool, jacuzzi, and outdoor entertainment area. Only negative was at times, the parking on the street was very cluttered and almost dangerous to navigate. Would have given 5 stars, but the communication with the management company in the beginning was difficult. Home Away had to intervene for resolution. But all was resolved and we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
