awesome condo

The place was very clean, beautifully decorated. Bright & open! The balcony view was the lake & main pool. We could have used some extra towels, I think we only had 1 towel per bathroom. Not a big deal as they have a washer & dryer but that would be the only "negative" I can think of. Everything was perfect!

Perfect location

In Kissimmee for a middle school Robotics competition. Located close to the venue and the pool was great for the kids to unwind afterward. Will need to return for a proper vacation!

Great Condo!

This is our second stay at Storey Lake and with Shine Villas. Both have been very good experiences and I would recommend the property management company and the properties themselves. Storey Lake is a gated community and the waterpark requires proof of stay to get in. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. We love the waterpark and this unit is a close walk to it (there is a shuttle, but it's so close to this unit walking is easy). The condo could use a refresh but the bright blue color really helps mask the little blemishes here and there. The blemishes are all normal "wear and tear" from a rented unit and did not impact our stay. Disney is quite literally down the "street" (Osceola Parkway) and it is super easy and out. Publix, Walmart, restaurants and ice cream are all very close. You will want to rent a car if you stay here. My only constructive feedback is on the top bunk in the kids room. The mattress is so high the guard rail wouldn't keep someone from rolling off if you had an active sleeper. There is a trundle under the bed so if you needed to sleep a family of four, you could do so easily. If you have a party of 5, just think in advance about who you would put up there. I would recommend both Storey Lake and Shine Villas. We will stay here again!

First time in Kissimmee

Pro-balcony had nice view of large pool area. Good for walking around property but bridges had a few rotten boards that were trip hazards. Tiki bar had very friendly people working there. Cons-Condo had very basic cooking supplies-no -cookie sheets/ paring knife/steak knives/dish towels/dish rags. Could hear people above us walking and running. Pool decks needed to be pressure washed as they were dirty. Many ripped chairs by “ quiet “pool. Good food at tiki bar but ran out of food frequently Many loud parties going on till late at night.

Clean, spacious, well-decorated

My family enjoyed this condo. It was clean, spacious and well-decorated. Location was good for most of Orlando, great for Disney area. Plenty of space for 5 people with enough beds for 6-7, depending on size and willingness to share a double. Our only complaint was that there were a total of 4 bath towels and 2 pool towels so we had use almost all at the pool then wash them to use them again to shower. If we had stayed longer it would have been frustrating to wash the towels over and over. I would recommend to the managers getting enough of each towel type for at least the number of people staying. The temperature is controlled so it can’t be heated above 69 or cooled below 75. It was in the 40s at night and we were quite cold. There were extra blankets but one smelled like mildew so we didn’t use it. The amenities seemed great. The clubhouse/pool area was a little far, very crowded, and the pool/lazy river were not heated as described. We had cool weather so many people just crowded the hottub since the pool was cold. They do not allow outside food and theirs is very pricey. There wasn’t enough parking for the clubhouse- I had to park down the road. I’m sure the pool area is much better when it’s hot out. Make sure you read the details of the listing as they have several extra requirements to send pictures of ID/credit card.

Great condo!

We had a great experience and stay! The only negative are the lines at the pool bar -it took 30 minutes to get a drink. The unit was great - location, price, cleanliness.

Beautiful condo

Beautiful condo listed exactly as stated in the middle of lots of food places and stuff to do. Kids loved the pool. Only complaint mattress was not comfortable and neighbors were very loud and constant annoyance. Other than that we loved it.

The only bad thing about the unit was the king bed. It was horrible. Sagged terribly.

The “virtual” experience for renting this unit was difficult in that o only had my cell phone to work from. We had to wait outside the unit for hours because we had checked out of our other place and we couldn’t get into the unit that was ready without paying $70!

Highly recommend

My husband, our one year old son and myself stayed here for a week while visiting Disney. Would highly recommend! We enjoyed mornings on the balcony, lazy river and was only a 10 min drive to Disney!

Nice Location but few issues

The location of this property is great, all the amenities are excellent-LOTS of people, be prepared to have to find available pool chairs and long lines for bar. I like the fact that is a gated community and the location but.... I found a medicine cup in the living room and the linens were left in the washer. The linens had me question if they actually changed out the linens for our arrival. The company you are paying is not very helpful! I initially attempted to book this property and was given an error message saying the dates I was booking were no longer available- I assumed I did not book. I later see my bank account and was charged the full amount. I took a screenshot of the message and called and they stated no refund only could maybe change the dates. I called them and attempted to change the dates and they told me no, that I would be responsible for a cancellation fee. Be aware that the outside noise will keep you up at night, if you have upstairs occupants, YOU WILL NOT SLEEP. THE BED IS the worst! I highly recommend the mattress being replaced, it squeaks at every movement! Shine Villas was not very pleasant to work with.
