We stayed 3 months and found the furniture to be uncomfortable over time and the local traffic annoying. HOWEVERIt is a great short term vacation rental !Champions Gate is a clean, quiet, safe gated community with pools, lazy river, splash area and good restaurant/bar within walking distance to this unit.This is an end unit townhouse with good soundproofing but there is road noise outside at the pool.The unit was clean, kitchen well stocked, even had starter supplies like soap, paper towels, and trash bags.There is lots of family gathering space. 5 big bedrooms and 4 baths.Always traffic in the area to and from amusement parks so plan extra travel time and patience. Champions Gate is a good location, the unit is well kept and clean, the management company provided easy check in information and responds quickly to inquiries.Overall, this is a good vacation rental in the Disney area.

Great location - lots of room

This is a great property with lots of pluses and a few minuses. My husband, myself and 5 children stayed here for 2 weeks and it was lovely Pros- if you are coming here to eat and sleep, between going to the parks this is the place for you. It’s close to all the parks and has a beautiful lazy river and pool at the clubhouse.Lots of bedrooms, easy check in, cleanCons- if you are planning to lay around the house and relax, this is probably not the place for you. Furniture isn’t really comfortable. Beds are just OK. Beds need fitted sheets. Pool is tiny but great for just splashing around in.Over all this was a great experience

Plenty of room

Took 5 teenage girls on vacation - the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms they used provided plenty of space for them to be themselves without overcrowding the space. It was bad timing for the community Oasis Club to be used due to the hurricane shutting the facility down, but the pool at the house was ample space for the teenagers to enjoy. The house needs fitted sheets on the beds, the blender does not work, but has not been reported to the homeowner yet. We reported an issue with the coffee maker and the toaster, which was replaced within a day. This was a nice home with 5 bedrooms that provided a good vacation for us to enjoy.

Not what I expected

The house was not that clean. Very thick dust on the TV box, Beds didn't have fitted sheets, the Queen bedroom upstairs the tub didn't drain, sticky floors, the patio furniture is so badly rusted that the legs are broke. I tried messaging the owner the day we got there about using the grill and I'm home now and still no response. Overall I would never rent this home or any home in champions gate ever again.

Warm weather get-away

I have rented many properties and I was a little surprised with the lack of ANY staples in the home with the exception of towels (only 1 for the kitchen) and 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. There were not even any coffee filters or small starter packs of coffee. The home is in a gated community. The shared pool area was nice, but know that you cannot take ANYTHING in as far as drinks & food. We even could not even take in our water bottles. Also the bar/restaurant automatically adds a 15% gratuity to all charges - "for your convenience". We like to work out first thing in the morning, but were not able to use the gym facilities until 9:00 am.

Property was as described. A few minor issues, such as the pool never heated despite the extra $140 I paid for it to be and the smoke alarm was chirping on arrival. House was spacious and had enough linens for all guest. I did notice none of the beds had mattress protectors, which is usually the norm in most rentals. I would suggest a deep clean though as there were food crumbs in most every room of the house. Overall, pleasant stay and would recommend.

Good House, But Take Note

Not much to say bad about the house except a REAL handyMAN needs to fix a couple things, because some things i noticed a FIX on were not fixed properly. Other than that house was clean and described with no issues there. My main issue was with the club house was the water was not heated even in the small children structure, which was a main reason to me staying at this location. my kids would not swim at the club house at all

8931 Stinger Drive - a nice house

The good: a big, "generally" clean house. We liked the color choices for wall, many furnitures etc. The was the dining room table was set with plates. Things to improve: Residual/low level of cigarette smell. Leave some potholders, please. One of the upstairs bedrooms had issues with toilet flushing and hair dryer not working. Conclusion: would stay again.

Model home perfect

It was literally like walking into a model home. Fully equipped with everything a group could possibly need, but absolutely devoid of any foodstuffs (wise for keeping the place pest free). The only thing I would recommend would be a stash of extra paper towels and TP to grab if necessary.

Great potential

This unit has great potential. Plenty of space, good location, ease of check-out/check-in, a kitchen stocked with supplies.... but I cannot give it 5 stars because it could use a good cleaning. There were crumbs in the corners of the kitchen floor, a hair left in the downstairs shower, a sharp metal object in the carpet of the downstairs bedroom and signs of vacuuming needed in the carpeted areas.

Perfect Place & Location

This place is great for big and small families. The pool area is nice and open and the kitchen, dining and seating area is very sociable. The bedrooms are well laid out and the pillows and mattresses are super soft. The location is by far the best part of the property. Champions Gate is around 20 mins from Disney and 30 mins from Universal. It’s a beautiful place and the house is located on a beautiful gated estate. Some pieces of furniture require a bit of attention, but nothing a screwdriver won’t sort. The property management team where excellent being an SMS message away day or night. We would recommend a safe to be fitted in the property. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Modern, clean, strong AC, cooking equipment and flatware impressive, there was even an instant pot. Master bedroom upstairs the bed frame gave way a couple of times, management response was Swift and repaired items quickly. Definitely will bok this unit again, we visit every year.

Beautiful Home

The house was beautiful! We absolutely loved it! It was clean, had lots of space, lots of towels, Oasis Club was beautiful, garbage pick up was so easy, etc. Negatives: - no dish cloths or oven mitts - Oasis Club doesn’t permit outside food, snacks or beverages so it makes for an expensive day - When we arrived the code for the door didn’t work but it was resolved fairly quick - the patio door came off the tracks making it hard to open, I called to get it fixed but no one ever returned my call, I would have called again but we fixed it ourselves! At the end of the day, Champions Gate is beautiful and I would recommend it!

nothing like the pictures!!

i have to say i was very disappointed with our first vrbo rental. this property was nothing like the beautifully clean one in the pictures. pros: great floor plan with lots of space (we had nine guests with plenty of room), lots of natural light, cute decor, great appliances cons: mattress pad was stained with yellow patches & sheets were just put on over it... gross!!!!! floors were filthy (especially the stairs)... white socks were gray after a little bit of time walking around, the shower curtain was stained yellow & looked like it had never been washed, the shower liner was absolutely disgusting & smelly, huge lack of linens with a total of THREE washcloths for the whole house, bathroom rugs were stained with dirt & toothpaste (we had to wash all of them), bathroom floors & counters were dirty, patio door lock was broken so we had to use a broomstick handle to secure it, lots of dust everywhere, pool had lots of “floaties” & not sure if it was really clean, netflix was supposed to be provided but the account was logged out. overall we were so disappointed!! i don’t know what kind of cleaning service is used for one vacation home... but i’d choose another company to book with.

Wonderful place!

The home was very spacious and nice! It accommodated our party of 12 perfectly. The club house was the perfect place to relax, have a drink and a fun. The gated community put our minds at ease. The attractions were not far away, depending on traffic about 20 to 30 minute drive. The only draw back was the Harry Potter bedroom did not have a TV. Other than that, we had a wonderful time at this home and look forward to returning to the area!
