I took our whole family for Christmas (16, including adult children, significant others and grand kids). There was plenty of room for all of us. The house and amenities were great! Only comment is, since the pool doesn't get a lot of sun, pay to heat it in the cooler months. I would definitely stay again.

Family Universal Trip

Family Universal Trip. Nine of us stayed at the house. My husband and I along with our two youngest, three grandchildren, SIL and daughter, who was also in town for a Volleyball tournament. Though a little far for Universal the location was perfect for Disney. We loved the screened in pool area. The house had plenty of bathrooms and beds for all of us to be comfortable. Grocery stores and restaurants were easily accessed. I highly recommend staying at Ryan's Castle.

Awesome location, house needs major updating.

First and foremost, my family and I were really looking forward to this family vacation at the lovely Emerald Island resort. We had stayed in this resort previously, in two different homes, about ten years ago. We thought that we were going to get a similar experience, however we were wrong. When we arrived at the house, the first thing we noticed was the broken blinds. That was an indicator of what was to come. The furniture was falling apart and it was dirty, I didn’t even want to sit on it. The carpet was matted, wrinkled, and smelled so badly that my four year old cousin had an asthma attack. The bathroom mats and the tub were so dirty to the point where I showered with sandals on. Now let’s talk about these beds. All the mattresses were TERRIBLE. I never woke up with so much back pain in my life. They were lumpy, squeaky and hard. The beds didn’t feel like they were clean and this made us feel so uncomfortable that we had to go to Walmart and buy bedding. The kitchen was decent, but definitely needed some updating as well. The living room couch was torn with a big hole. Overall, we made the best of our trip but we would definitely recommend some serious updating and better cleaning of this home.

Good stay, excellent response to maintenance issue

The house is huge, great for a stay with a large group. The pool and hot tub were nice. Maintenance was onsite to fix a problem we reported the same day which was awesome. The house could use some new pots - the ones in the cupboard were non-stick but the coating was all scratched up. The fridge had filtered water which was great and didn't taste "Florida-ish" at all.

Re-grouping from our Disney Cruise

Thank You to Lisbeth, The Property Manager, for allowing us to check in early after getting back to orlando from our cruise. We were truly exausted and she lighten the loud a whole lot.. Even though we were early, the property was ready and Everything for our stay was great. Thanks again for making our arrival and stay stress free. We definitely recommend and will stay here again in the future.

For Golfers only

Eight friends (all men over 50) escaping the Canadian winter, take a yearly trip for a week to FLA... Our routine is simple- cook breakfast, GOLF, come home to make supper, have a swim, play a game of cards, sleep.... then repeat.... .... hence this 8 bedroom home with private pool and bbq was our choice for this year... having all amenities at our fingertips, it worked out perfectly. Thanks to the host for her efficiency and wonderful accommodations! ...if timing is on our side, we hope to be back next year!

Property was very nice but had some "miscommunications"

When we arrived at the property there was a lock system that was new to me and was unable to enter. It was also asking for a code that I did not find in my email. It said to call anytime with questions. It was very clear the call was a nuisance and almost argumentative to a point. The other issue I had with the communication was the pool and hot tub. It stated in the details, the pool was a cost to heat. But it did not indicate the hot tub would also not work if the pool was not paid to be heated. Seems to be that.... it says it in the name it should be hot. This was disappointing and one reason we chose this property. After a long day at the park, we were looking forward to it. The property itself was very nice and had everything we needed. It was nice with the number of bedrooms for all of us to have our own space. Location was great and had many options around it.

Beautiful property and would reccomend

My family of 6 (2 adults, 6 mo., 8 yrs, 12 yrs and 14 yrs and our little doggy) evacuated to this property from the clearwater area during Milton. The host was very responsive and allowed us to extend our stay each and every day we needed it and it was available. This place is located near a huge super walmart, starbucks and a very short 10-15 ride to Disney Springs (which we ended up taking our kids to a few days after the storm passed) The community is very nice and offers additional ammenities such as doggy bag station, a park, volleyball court, massages in the club bouse etc) When we showed up stressed and our car packed to the brim it was nice that they had a crib, highchair and stroller. My baby loooved the huge whirlpool bathtub and our big kids lived in the pool. We never ran out of hotwater! Great experience and will book again 🙂 My suggestions to improve the experience but wouldnt take away from my 5 star review 1. Buy new shower heads. You can get a 2 pack for like $60 off amazon. The bath was awesome but none of the showers were enjoyable (and we know the house offers awesome water pressure bc of the bath and sinks). 2. New shower mats... I almost slipped and died in the bathroom at the top of the stairs to the left walking in on the black mats. No grips on linoleum. I would also ditch the furry bath mats 3. Ditch the crib bumper as they are suffocation hazards 4. Replace the mattress in the master upstairs, very lumpy. Not very demure.

The house was the right size and fully stocked. Really didn’t need to bring anything. It was decorated with beautiful colors and pieces. The only bad thing was community did not have ample parking. Agent was very responsive. Great house highly recommend

Family Vacay 2022 Stay

While the property accommodated our family for sleeping , we would not choose to stay again … We arrived coldest Dec 2022 .. house was heated to 55 , took over 24 hours to get completely heated .. paid $250 / $50 per day for pool heater and took 4 of the 5 days so to get heated enough for grandkids to swim…not enough pots and pans for the amount of people who can stay …need to remove ALL the carpet, and too much decorating stuff! Resort does not accommodate any trailer parking ! Management should reach out to renters 3 days prior to arrival had they done this the house would have been heated as well… management should send all rules requirements of renters prior to arrival … not waiting to read the BOOK upon arrival ….

Sweet 16 Disney Trip

Party of 12- 8 adults and 4 children. Childrens ages 4, 11, 14, 16. House location was perfect for Disney parks. We have stayed in this area before and love it. House was exactly as described. We did pay extra for pool heat and it was definitely worth it and needed.
