(2 out of 5 stars)The house itself was nice and reasonably clean, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing due to misrepresentation, poor maintenance, and constant extra charges.The property is advertised as sleeping 19, yet parking is limited to three vehicles. Before booking, we called to ask about a fourth car and were explicitly told HOA would do the approval. After driving 500 miles, security told us no exceptions are ever made, forcing us to park outside the neighborhood. Being told one thing to secure the booking and another upon arrival was unacceptable.We paid extra for pool and hot tub heat, but the hot tub barely warmed and the pool was never usable.There were multiple maintenance and safety issues: a loose microwave that felt like it could fall out, nails sticking up in the kitchen floor, a shower knob that fell off during use, and several beds collapsing due to missing or improperly installed slats.Basic functionality was also lacking. The dryer took nearly 12 hours to dry towels, which was especially problematic since only four washcloths and hand towels were provided for a house meant for 19 guests. The kitchen was severely under-equipped, with no large pots or pans suitable for a group this size.Despite paying nearly 5,000, they didn’t try to accommodate us in anyway .Bottom line: the stay was defined by false assurances.
