The house was nice but there was bug found on the floor of one bedroom. And bedbugs on the twin Mickey mouse room bed. My son didnt tell me until after we left.

Great house and location / Needs cleaning

The house has a great layout and worked really well for our extended family vacation. Great decor and theme rooms. The kitchen needs to be better stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, bowls, etc. The cleaning was subpar when we arrived. One of the beds had soiled sheets that had clearly not been changed. The property managers were very responsive and offered to send someone to change the sheets. Overall we would consider staying there again but would be sure these items are addressed before our stay.

This unit is ideally located and provided our family with a good place to come back to after a day out around Orlando. The rooms were nicely decorated. The back porch area is a great outdoor space to hang out.

Family Disney Vacation

We enjoyed the location of the property, roughly 20 minutes from Disney parks. The resort pool, bar, and restaurant were great amenities to have nearby the house. This property did not have specific trash days. Trash could be disposed of as needed in a bin outside. I love this because during vacation, who wants to worry about when to put the bins out. They also did not require you to start the washing of towels or sheets, akin to a hotel stay. Be sure to bring extra garbage bags and dish soap, laundry detergent etc . This is normal for a limited amount to be provided so come prepared with extras if you need more than one of each item. The check-in process was redundant. At the time of booking the property a photo ID (drivers license) and picture of your credit card was required to be sent via email. It was again required to release the door code when the reservation came due. I did not appreciate having to send this sensitive information twice. With booking properties in the past, I am aware that requesting this information by email to confirm the reservation is common practice. However, I think it’s prudent for customers to consider credit/identity monitoring going forward.

Great home for a family vacation

The property was perfect for our multigenerational family. With ages ranging from 4 months to 63, everyone was pleased with their accommodations. We celebrated a birthday, had breakfast by the pool, and easily commuted to Disney World and Universal Studios. It was a perfect home for our family vacation. It was easy to communicate with the owners. When we had questions they were quick to respond. We look forward to visiting again.

This house is amazing!

We stayed here for a week while going to Universal and Seaworld! It was about a 30 minute drive everyday, but well worth the drive! We absolutely loved the house, pool, and game room. We did notice a dirty comforter and a broken outside chair and they came the NEXT morning and fixed both. Management was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again. Pro tip: Just bring anything extra items that you would like. We brought our own pool towels, paper towels, dish soap and tide pods. During the week we mostly cook our breakfast and dinner. We also did a few loads of laundry.

Beautiful but undersupplied

We had a great time and were able to quickly get to the parks in addition to a fun pool day. We had to buy a lot of little things because there wasn't nearly enough paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, etc, so bring that stuff or be prepared for a trip to the store.

Wonderful stay

Better than the pictures, property was clean and excellent choice of decor. The location was also excellent, often times we would see a line trying to get into the main Solara part, luckily the house was in the other subdivision and never a wait to get in. Only two issues: Had an issue with ants by the pool which was quickly addressed. The other being the outlets in the master bathroom did not work, had to use an extension cord. My family will be looking at this property again in the future if we decide to stay in Orlando.

The property is beautiful & clean. We truly enjoyed our stay. Our grievances included the lack of basics provided with the home. No one wants to buy trash bags, toilet paper, counter top cleaner, etc for a short stay. There are also no pool toys or games available. Also, no pool towels. Finding the house was a challenge as GPS hasn't yet been updated. There was also an issue getting through the gate. The portal answering service wasn't terribly prompt or helpful. Knowing these are common headaches, it would be helpful that they prepare for the potential confusion in advance. The Solara Resort is beautiful, the staff were kind, & the food was delicious. The resort pool heater was unfortunately broken during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our visit & would visit again ... assuming a few more accommodations were granted.
