Great location

The location was excellent, providing easy access to both Disney and Universal. Communication was generally smooth, though we encountered a brief issue where the entry code provided in our paperwork was inaccurate. However, the host responded promptly, ensuring we were able to access the house without much delay. In the description, it stated there was two rooms that had queen size beds however, the room’s only had a double. One concern we noticed was that at least two rooms lacked mattress covers and had only a flat sheet. This made the beds feel less clean, as the sheets shifted, exposing the mattress. Aside from this, the house was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend that the host ensures all mattresses have proper covers, particularly when fitted sheets are not provided, to help guests feel comfortable and confident in sleeping in a clean bed.

Weekend Getaway.

The home was very spacious and everything was clean. The a/c kept the whole house cool and the kitchen is great. The game room was a disappointment. Some games were broken and others didn’t function properly. The pool was refreshing but the lights in the pool were not bright enough for night swimming. The home is really close to the water park at the clubhouse, but it’s nice to have a private pool when the clubhouse gets crowded. If you want a large house with a pool, this is perfect…but don’t get it for the game room.

Great Neighborhood and Area!

This home was very nice and spacious for my family of 4 and our friend's family of 4 to stay in altogether. The game room was great for our 7 and 8 year old boys, also. We had an ongoing issue with the hot tub/pool since we paid for the pool and hot tub to be heated in advance, but the hot tub was ice cold until our last night in the home when someone finally came to the home to resolve the issue. I was in constant contact with the owner prior to the hot tub issue, but after the hot tub issue, he was unresponsive until the last day we stayed in the home. BEYOND DISSATISFIED with the waste of our funds for the heated pool and hot tub for the above mentioned reasons! Also, there are no large trash cans in the home and there were 8 of us staying there, meaning constant trash needing to be thrown away. We had to take out the trash all throughout the day due to the small trash can and the small trash bench out front of the home where you take the trash to.

The perfect house

We enjoyed our stay. Management are quick to come fix any problem we had. The kids enjoyed the game room and pool and we enjoy the living space. I would book again when I’m in Orlando. Just an FYI the twin bed is actually a bunk bed just in case.

Spacious Property

We loved staying Champion Gates, the community pool and amenities were something like a water park! You cannot bring in outside food or beverages however and adult beverages are $22 each so be prepared! The house was very spacious and comfortable. It’s nice for everyone to have their own bathroom/space to be by themselves if they want. The house is newer but does have a lot of wear. The beds were pretty uncomfortable as well, but we made due. We had an electrical problem but they were very quick to send someone out! While the property isn’t too far from Disney there is a lot of traffic, it’s about 30-40 min depending on the time you leave! Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Rent this house for a family vacation

We rent this property on champions gate and the first day we get to the property we found ants all over the house and Two days before we check out we found a big Waterbugs in the kitchen behind the coffe machine also the neighbors that we had this 10 days where the worse they where fighting each other and drinking until finally someone got arrested

Recommendations

Electrical outlets in first floor bathroom out, had to reset circuit breakers, and also for the kitchen disposal. Spoke to management company about this. Mattresses on first floor and in a few rooms are hard and noisy, need replacing. The home is a beautiful one and besides those two issues, we had a great time. I would highly recommend this home!

Review of stay 4/23-5/1/21

We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the first full day, my son sat on his bed and it broke. We called the maintenance number but didn’t get a repaired bed until Monday night. It looks like this wasn’t the first time the bed had broken. Looks like it had been repaired a few times. There were no potholders in the kitchen at all. We also spotted a few very large cockroaches in the kitchen, downstairs bathroom, and the only downstairs bedroom/bath. We realize the property is probably treated monthly but the cockroaches were definitely not someone we wanted to share the house with. Overall, we did enjoy the property.

Great Community

The space and layout of the homes are perfect, beautiful decor, loved everyone having their own bathroom. The community was gorgeous and we would have had a blast just hanging out at the clubhouse if we weren't so busy with other things during our trip but it was nice to be able to go there prior to check in and after checking out since our flights and those times were so different. Loved that the pool had a gate that the kids couldn't open by theirselves, made me feel safe with the little ones that were with us. Host was responsive.....on to the down sides, we paid extra money to heat the pool since we wanted the hot tub heated but were not warned that it would make the pool and hot tub so hot that it burned my kids' skin and they couldn't even use it, we ended up having the pool guy turn it down so that the kids could swim because I was unable to reach the host at that one time so that was a huge waste of money. Every cup, plate, utensil that we got out to use was visibly dirty. There was hair and a bug in the shower of the room I stayed in and hair in my friends shower as well. My 4 year old's toe got sliced open and we had no idea where but about an hour later my friends 14 year old was going up the stairs barefoot and she started screaming with a bleeding foot, we found a very large carpet staple sticking out on the stairs and that was like a razor blade, her foot was sliced open much worse than my daughter's. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. I did lay on the twin bed that one of my girls was sleeping on and it felt 100x better than the queen size bed we had but lots of couches actually ended up being slept on because a couple of the queens were just horrible. I figured we would be a little outside of all the crazy but still close enough the commute wouldn't be too bad but the traffic getting into and out of Orlando was HORRIBLE every.single.day. no matter the time of day. All in all we had a great time, just a few things could be improved on.

Family time fun, laughs and living!!!!

My trip was a planned birthday/ family vacation type celebrate for great accomplishments we have made as a family so this property was a great fit for everyone and everything and was beautiful with a great location nice quiet neighborhood we were near all store’s for in need shopping my family love the Private pool and Jacuzzi access. The owner has been Pleasant from the beginning to the end Thank you I have used this booking site before and will definitely be using it again in the near future.

Great house for family vacation

Everything was just as expected, our family had a great time at this house and also had plenty of room. It was clean and had most of everything we needed. Only thing was the blender was broken. There was a TV in about every room and they were all able to connect to WiFi. The pool at the house was perfect for our family and it was clean. Our kids also really enjoyed the club house pool and lazy river. It took us about 45 minutes to get to Disney because of traffic. We even saw fireworks from the house. Overall, a great family vacation!

Great property but needs a little more TLC.

The description of the property is spot on. It's location from the entrance to the clubhouse is in a perfect spot. The only concerns we had were that we had to message for the check in instructions which were not a big deal because the response was immediate but there was a huge problem with spiders. There were webs and spider eggs all over the garage door where you park as well as the entrance to the property. Also the property floor needs to be swept and mopped in between stays. The tile floor was pretty dirty if you walked around in your socks. All of the amenties in the property worked. It is very difficult to get a signal for local channels in the area so you really need a HULU or NETFLIX account to enjoy the TV. I would recommend paying for the pool heat if you are staying around this time of year but this is our 5th year staying in Champions Gate and this is by far the best description of the property as you will see out there. We will definitely look into returning again this same time next year. In all our group tends to rent at least 12 - 18 homes during this time so we get a chance to see quite a bit around this community.

Improvement needed, but good stay overall

There were a few issues during our stay. Although each was managed as requested, these are things I believe shouldn't be an issue with a well maintained rental. First, we arrived and attempted to cut on lights to the upstairs, but nothing worked. Investigated led us to a flipped breaker. Ok, handled. Second, we attempted to turn on televisions, only to find either batteries were dead, or there were no batteries to speak of in the remotes! We requested batteries from property management, and they brought them the next day. Lamps were also missing bulbs throughout the condo. On day two, we found ants throughout the dining and kitchen areas, and was told terminix was coming, but we had to manage ourselves with ant spray. We had to be creative to keep our food safe. Another issue was the towel count. There are not enough towels and washcloths for the number of bedrooms/bathrooms of this property. We had to do laundry everyday. Finally, the house could use some clean up at the front door. Wading through live and dead spiders with webs to get to the front door knob was just gross. Although all these complaints seem minor, which they were, I want to give honest feedback on the details that can make this good property exceptional.

Do Not Rent This House!!!!

The owner, Leonard M, of this property only communicated when it was time to pay the balance. He sent an email saying that he has tried numerous attempts to get in contact with somebody so that the balance could be paid. That was a lie! We saw one email(which is the one he said he's trying to contact somebody) and no missed calls. After the balance was paid we heard NOTHING else when we tried to communicate with him for any other questions we had. He wouldn't even respond to our request for a early check in. The house was beautiful but unequipped for our five night stay. We had to buy our own wash clothes, soap, trash bags and a few other household items. The description of the house said there was a game room. No Game Room, so the kids were disappointed. We were told there was a king size bed, It Wasn't. There were no curtains in the King Suite or in the living room area. Which meant there was no privacy. The beds were HORRIBLE!! Hard and uncomfortable in ALL rooms. The sheets WERE'NT CLEAN, the showers were dirty with hair in them. My 18 yr son found a used condom in the bed he slept on. So DISGUSTING!! The kitchen was not equipped either. If we hadn't brought any of our pots and pans from home, we would have had to purchase some for our stay. We were also told that there was a grill at this location, Not True! So we had to do our burgers and hot dogs inside the house. There were no floats for the kids to play with. I'm sorry there was a infant/toddler float(that we didn't need) that was there and a deflated float that nobody could use cause there was no pump. If it wasn't for us bringing our own pool toys, the kids wouldn't have had much fun. This house had so much potential by looking at the pictures online but once you get there to experience it, it's a whole different story. Do Not Rent This House!!!!

Nice, spacious home for 3 families

The home was nicely decorated. Open floor plan was nice for everyone to see each other and hang out. The kids stayed in the pool whenever we returned home. Get heated upgrade. The water was always cold even though it was summer heat outside. There was hair in one bathroom shower and some utensils with stains. The water filter in the fridge needed to be changed according to the alert on the screen. They could invest in more comfortable mattresses, but I guess that's part of the territory of lodging. Our neighbors to the left were super loud at night. Partying after 1am (but no fault to this property). Overall great stay.

Great house but not adequately supplied

The house was great size for our family but there was not many supplies there. We had a full house and only 8 towels, 4 hand towels, and no wash clothes. No kitchen towels or pool towels. No condiments or extra supplies of anything. Most bathrooms only had half roll of toilet paper and no extra. No extra napkins or trash bags. The check in kiosk would not let us sign on so was not able to do that. I felt when I messaged the manager, I didn’t get a very informative response.

Mixed Feelings

I wish I could give this property 3 1/2 stars. There were many things we enjoyed about our stay but a few things that would keep us from booking this home again. Positives: We loved the location (it was an easy drive to Disney and close to great local restaurants). The clubhouse was great! We also loved the size of the home and the outdoor pool area, which is where we spent most of our time. It was also really nice to be able to park in the garage. This made it much easier to load/unload the kids. Negatives: I was super disappointed in the beds. All 8 beds were super hard and uncomfortable. They were squeaky and appeared to be old and worn out. I didn’t sleep at all the first night so I purchased a memory foam mattress pad to use on the bed in the master and when I took the sheets off the mattress protector and mattress were both stained. There was even one bed that was totally sunken in. This is the main reason we wouldn’t return. The other issue we had was with the neighbors. Most of the homes appeared to be rentals and with each home being 6-8 bedrooms we found it was common for multiple families to stay in one property. The families on both sides of us were very loud but one in particular made our stay less enjoyable. There were multiple nights that they were up parting, yelling, and singing well into the night (past 2am). We honestly should have called the police and filed a noise complaint since it prevent us from sleeping. I did call the property manager to see if there was anything they could do and was told someone would be calling me back right away which they never did. I understand neighbors may be out of their control but it would have been nice to receive a call back.
