Storey Lake

Location, location the house is perfectly located for Disney and not too bad for the parks.The size was what we needed for our extended family but the home does need some TLC as the paintwork etc is starting to look tired. We had a curtain pole hanging off on entry but the Man Company fixed it immediately so no complaints, but we did notice a lot of dust blowing through the vents on inspecting the AC filter it was incorrectly fitted and had not been changed for awhile, we informed the Man Co and they asked for photos, I did not understand that request so didn't send them although I took photos. Also the pool deck was not clean at all but the kids used the estate pool. One other area of dissatisfaction was that we were staying for 2 weeks and there was no change of bed linen so we had to wash and then dry the one set per bed in a day. We were told it was company policy to have only one set. I suppose that works if people are staying for 1 week or less. I used to own a vacation home and have stayed in many and all have had a change of linen. Finally on check out the cleaner entered the house without knocking at 09:15 checkout was 10:00 am so that was a bit of a shock she did profusely apologise though.

Horrible Customer Relations

When we arrived at the property the thermostat said unconnected. So I reached out to the property management company, as it was starting to get a bit toasty. They told me they were trying to work on a solution and they'd get back to me. Well after no response I called them a second and a third time and after the third time calling them around 11pm and the temperature now reading excess of 95 degrees my family of 7 (all small children) were forced to sleep downstairs in the living room to try to remain cool. I called a final time and again I was assured they were working on a solution (else I would have booked a hotel for one night till the issue got resolved), but crickets and by this point it was too late to do anything. You'd think after putting a family through that they'd give us a refund of one night, but they said that they fixed it within 24 hours and that was policy, so tough luck. My family got zero sleep that night. Here is a list of all the issues we had with this unit: 1.) The living room fan didn’t work 2.) The security gates didn’t function correctly the entire time and most the time remained open 3.) The master show drain was slow to drain and you ended up bathing in a pool of water 4.) The pool lights didn’t work 5.) The property management company were not helpful and were on the rude side. 6.) The pool child gate didn’t latch properly, so we were on pins and needles the entire time.

Clean and convenient

This property was as advertised. We enjoyed the convenient location close to Disney parks and a short drive from the airport. Property was cleaned and sanitized for our arrival. Children’s high hair and pack and play were provided by request. There is a nice community pool with children’s water park. We would definitely consider staying in this property again.

Great property for Disney!

Wonderful property only 15 minutes from Disney and quick access to the highway. The neighborhood is a gated community with a certain charm to it and the condo itself is spacious and was very clean. We loved the themed rooms and the pool was a great way to end a long day of waiting in lines. We would definitely recommend this place for families as the price was hard to beat.

Good house, but skimpy for basic amenities

The house is as-described, and on-the-whole was great. However, you could really tell that the rental company was skimping wherever they could. We stayed for a week and were only given one roll of really cheap 1-ply toilet paper per bathroom, one garbage bag for the kitchen, one dishwasher detergent, etc. If you want more, you gotta go to the store and buy a box. Plus, the bedding (especially for the children's beds) felt super cheap. The kitchen has many of the things you need, but is also missing important things like filters for the coffee maker and salt/pepper. On the bright side, the clubhouse is super awesome with a big pool, lazy river, water slides, bar, ice cream, basketball court, beach volleyball, etc.

Really enjoyed our stay

The house was very spacious and accommodated our family well. The kitchen was well equipped. Laundry facilities were a bonus. We felt very safe in this area. I would highly recommend this rental.

Excellent Property. Top 3 Favorites!!

We vacation as much as possible in the Orlando region. Found this property that had a resort attached for an AMAZING RATE! We have 12 people that vacation with us, so this was a very nice option for all of us. Great space. Clean. Easy access to EVERYTHING! Communication with the property manager was fantastic. We enjoyed the ease and comfort of all the amenities that this property offered. Top 3 Favorite location. Storey Lake and One Vacation Homes was phenomenal! THANK YOU for making our much needed vacation easy and enjoyable!

Wonderful Rental

House was furnished nicely. My daughter LOVED the princess room. Pool and tiki bar was wonderful. Great location, not a far ride to Universal, SeaWorld etc. The downstairs shower and upstairs guest shower could use new caulking. Also there were no extra pillow cases for the extra pillows. Other than that, no complaints! Lovely Rental

Great rental, close to Disney and restaurants!

Our family of 12 was looking for a property close to Disney and this was perfect! There is also lots of restaurants and grocery options close by as well. The townhome was just as described, perfect for a large family! The owner provided all the amenities you could need while you stay! We would definitely consider staying here again if we were back in the area!

Christmas vacation

We LOVED the property. The linen (comforters) need to be cleaned for each guest in all the rooms and the kitchen linen should be replaced or washed in bleach. They where dirty and dingy. I would definitely stay here again.
