Making memories

Although there were some maintenance issues, that were addressed rather quickly, our stay was packed with fun and memories, the house is very roomy and we all had a wonderful time

NOT a luxury house!!!

We rented this house over Christmas with 16 people. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out, however it lack many things. This address did not have access to the clubhouse, so we were not able to use it for the first day and a half. The clubhouse was also too far from the house for little ones to walk to. The bedsheets were damp in all the bedrooms. It seemed like housecleaning didn’t have enough time to dry them thoroughly, but threw them on the beds anyways. I called the property manager to complain and they dropped off dry bedsheets for US to change. (Because that’s what I want to do after traveling all day!) there were no instructions on how to heat the pool (that we paid for). The kitchen was bare-bones. There were no baking sheets, cutting boards, measuring spoons, Hot pads, oven mitts or scissors. The can opener was broken so we had to borrow it from the neighbors. None of the outlets in the bathrooms worked. Walls and carpet showed obvious signs of wear and tear. Most of the dining chair tables were missing footpads, causing the chair to teeter back-and-forth while sitting on them. Towels were all thread bare. Outdoor furniture was extremely worn, if not dangerous. The patio table was held together by gravity.

Disney Stay

The house had a very nice open layout. Great for bigger groups. We had 4 different families and we all got all out own rooms and separate bathrooms which was very convenient. House location is an easy drive to Disney Parks area.

Great house!

We loved the theatre room and the pool the most, there was enough room for everyone to have fun and not feel crowded, would love a to stay again. Also it’s close to everything you would want to do.

Warning to all about this house

We rented this house last week of October. There were previous reviews that spoke of electrical issues and the necessity of the pool being heated. We paid for the pool to be heated and I specifically asked months ago if the electrical issues had been resolved and was assured they had been. The night we arrived the master suite and internet were down because the breaker had been tripped. The pool was ice cold. The theater did not work. They refunded the pool heat fee which was great. They sent 3 people out the next day to take care of the other concerns. The breakers still tripped throughout the week. We didn't even complain about the fact you had to unplug alot of the lights because there were no knobs to turn them on/off, or that the place was filthy to the point where kids had wiped snot on the walls in the star wars room. However 2 days before we check out, we woke up to have NO running water! The property manager apologized and said they would get it resolved..we get home from the parks that night to find it still not on. When I got frustrated the property manager basically told me it was our fault for leaving a tap on and that's why they didn't restore service and to have a good night. Another person from the property team called and gave us an alternate house a few doors down to take showers in. The next day we spend all day at the parks and once again get home to NO water. They once again said we could move all of our stuff and food and everything to the other house for the last 15 hours we were there.. so we spent the last 3 mornings walking up and down the street late at night to take showers and constantly filling toilets with pool water to flush them. They never told us why the water was shut-off and barely refunded two of the nights stay...would not recommend this house or Nova Vacation homes for any reason.

Our Family Disney Vacation

This property was very clean and accommodating! We had one day where we didn't even leave the house! It was so relaxing and the children didn't even complain since there was this grand pool. We were not able to utilize the theater, because the remote could not be found during our stay. The property was missing just a couple of minor things such as the sink stopper in the kitchen, wash cloths in the bathrooms, dish cloths and the dryer was broken. We forgot our fans, but the home had one for us to use. With the exception of those minor issues WE HAD A BLAST!!! Thank you for opening up your home to us!!!!

Fun - just a couple of things set it back

We had a good time at this house as there is plenty of space and nice TV's throughout all of the rooms. There were just a few things that need to change in order for us to ever recommend it in the future. 1. The cooking pans were all warped and terribly difficult to cook on a electric stove. Most all of them need to be replaced. 2. The stones around the pool area were quite loose which might cause someone to get hurt in the future. 3. The house had some noticeable wear and tear on the walls and furniture. These could be easily fixed, but were still present. 4. Not a big deal - just a warning: there are no pool towels available, and the existing bath towels were rather limited, and quite cheap.

Not what we expected

Do not book this home if you think it will accommodate a large group of people. We were a group of 18 and there was enough towels for 8, no kitchen or dish towels, missing things like scissors or an oven mit , just a lot of basic things that have came with houses in the past. Thinking this was considered a “luxury home”, there was a lot that needed to be tended to. Damage to walls and the refrigerator consistently leaking water in the kitchen. Breakers need to be replaced immediately, we lost electricity upstairs multiple times throughout our trip. The pool water was so dirty upon our arrival which actually caused ear aches for multiple kids. Communication was easy and they responded quick but as far as maintenance coming they said most of the things we mentioned would be fixed at a later date. As we have received information they switched maintenance companies in the middle of our trip so multiple people were in and out of our rental. Not pointing any fingers but then the next day $400 is missing from one of our rooms. Save your money on the barbecue pit rental, if I could attach pictures I would the grill completely fell apart on us due to rust. You could buy a barbecue pit for the hundred dollars. Then to top it off there were multiple bugs crawling all over the floor in the kitchen, we don’t know what they were only Google gave us options that made it worse. I most definitely would not book this home again!

February trip

The house is clean and nice. Any issues we had the property management company was quick to respond. But, there are many little things that need to be updated. Fo example many of dining table chairs are wobbly, the shower door doesn't close upstairs in one of the bathrooms, pool cues were unusable. If these small details were fixed this house would be perfect.

It was very cost effective for 16 people

16 members of my family stayed her for my moms 60th Bay. It was close to disney and all the kids loved having their own pool. Wish we had more time to check out the clubhouse and use the other amenities but we ran out of time after disney parks and beach days. Minor issues with circuit breakers and appliances.. Would definitely come back.

Very Honest Review

The home was nice upon immediate entry BUT within 30 minutes of being there we realized the lights upstairs were not working. We found the breaker and switched the lights back on ...and again about 2hrs later the lights went out again. We emailed property management they said someone would come tend to the issue. As far as I know, unless they came while we were gone, no on ever came and the power upstairs continued to go off (the worst was when the power went out as we were washing clothes in the washing machine ) . We were flipping the switches in the breaker about every 4-5hrs. EXTREMELY annoying. The Pool: If you are going in the winter months DO NOT waste your money on the "heated pool option". I should have known this would be a problem as soon as the indicated "if the pool does not warm you cannot receive a refund." I understand that the pool may not warm up much(if at all-as it takes about 48 for the pool to heat) but I expected the Spa to start to warm up. After trying to get the spa warm for 12 hours of constantly turning the dial we gave up. The water was frigid... we ended up going down the street to a friends rental property and using their pool which they had no issue with heating. Kitchen Supplies: If you are going with a large group ... and plan on cooking there are not enough pots and pans to cook for a large group. However, their are plenty of cups, plates and spoons. Outside of these things the home was clean and comfy !!! If the above things were fixed I would definitely stay again

Poor internet service

My family and I had a great stay at this property, the only issue we had with the house was the internet. None of theTV's in the room would work and the internet lagged due to the amount of devices that we tried to connect, a simple solution would be for them to invest in high speed internet especially if you have a house with a maximum capacity of 30 guest! Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Beautiful Quarantine Stay

We planned our trip to this home since Thanksgiving. And then with all the COVID19 panic, we got a little concerned about still going. Ultimately we decided to go, and I’m glad we did. The home was beautiful and just as was pictured online. The game room provided lots of entertainment to our family. We did expect the pool to be a bit larger, but it was enough for us. We had high hopes of using the amenities like the pool at the Oasis, as well as the gym, but the state of quarantine curtailed those plans. The kitchen was well equipped to handle the cooking needs of our large family. We did find the ice machine to be a little slow. We also didn’t realize the televisions were not smart TVs and only the living room tv had a roku installed. The theatre was only equipped to take DVDs, so that’s something I wish we knew in advance as well. Overall our stay was 5 star, and we would stay here again.

Family trip to Disney

We rented the property for our extended family trip to Disney. We had 9 adults and 6 kids and the house never felt overcrowded. There was plenty for the kids to do and everyone had their own space! The previous reviews were accurate with respect to the lack of sharp knives and basic cooking supplies but we made it work. My only complaint is the process to obtain gate access after hours (which was after 7pm). We received a guest pass with a barcode that never worked and it was an inconvenience after long days at the parks

Perfect

We spent one week in this beautiful house for a Disney vacation. Despite traveling with 16 people including children, the house never felt crowded. We all loved the pool and patio area, as well as the game room. The children loved watching movies in the cinema room as well! I would highly recommend this house to anyone considering vacationing in this area!
