Great property, Garry was very responsive and reachable. Will stay again. The master bed mattress have a dip from over usage on each sides. Just a small improvement with mattress and pillow upgrade would go a long way. Still happy with the stay.!

Family Disney Trip

This house was perfect for our 4 day trip to Disney. We prefer to stay off site, and love having a private pool. This house was spacious, well equipped and had everything we needed. Very close to Disney, this was a short drive about 15 minutes to any of the 4 parks. Walmart just around the corner, very easy. Host was attentive and checked in with us on our arrival day. We had no issues during our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hakuna Ma’Cottage. The neighborhood is very quiet. Kids enjoyed their rooms, pool and entertainment (especially Xbox and air hockey).

Wonderful experience from beginning until end!

I can not say enough good things about this property and owner! The check in process was flawless, communication was excellent, and property was very well kept. We will definitely be looking for this host again on our next Orlando trip.

Fun decorations, activities for kids and good communication with host. Some surrounding homes run down and yards over grown. Could use a deep cleaning (vacuum under beds, trim wiped down, drawers checked and garage needs sprayed for bugs ie. cockroaches). Overall good experience!

Great Location, Comfortable Accommodations

This is a very nice place for family gatherings. Easy to get to most of Orlando's attractions. House is as described. Very clean, did find some leaves on a bedroom floor and one sink in the master bath was completely plugged. Not sure how those two things were missed when everything else was very clean. Again, very nice place to stay.

Great Location, without the need to leave the property.

This home and location was excellent for us. The community along with adjoining communities was quiet and everyone was friendly. I felt safe during my morning jogs, and enjoyed the sun and beauty of nature. We were less than a ten minute drive to shopping areas, restaurants, and smaller theme parks however we didn’t feel the need to visit any of the water parks. The onsite pool allowed us to grill, splash, and lounge all on our own timing without any of the lines or crowds. We found plenty of games onsite for family night, and there was even a Xbox for my grandson. We encountered some issues however it wasn’t anything that hindered our stay. We notified our contact who was prompt in responding, offered to send someone over, which we declined. We felt it was best to wait until after our departure since it was small and not urgent. This was our first pool house experience. We are looking forward to returning next year.

5 Stars is not enough!

Location: The online description is exact. Very, very clean with a beautiful layout. Location: Less than 15 minutes from restaurants, supermarkets, and shopping centers. Also, there are a few water parks renting from 10 - 30 minutes away. Management: Exceptional! Gerry checked in with us the first night to make sure everything was OK. The pool was not heating up as it should, and I sent an email; two hours later it was being worked on and repaired. We received a refund for the days it did not work, which was unexpected, but very appreciated! There is no doubt we will go back in the future! Gerry, thank you for a great vacation!

Excellent property, location and customer service

We stayed in the villa for 17 nights in sept/Oct 2023. It was perfect for our family; perfectly clean and had everything we’d need in a holiday home. We somehow managed to lock ourselves out and after an email, someone came to rescue us immediately. We also had a query about how to work the tv and the villa owner phoned us to walk us through it. I’m pretty fussy about rental properties but it more than lived up to my standards! Would 100% stay again! Carolyn, and family. ☺️

Great property in great location

We really enjoyed our stay here and the property was really clean and tidy. The owner and management team were very responsive and helpful. Great location and all Disney parks could be reached within 5 and 15 minutes and Universal studios around 25 minutes.

The house is just as described. Very close to Disney world. The pool is great for relaxing after a long hot day at the parks. The only i didn't care for is the sink faucets in the bathroom, its hard for young kids to use. Thats seriously my only issue, this place is great.

Great place to stay!

The property is very well located in a quiet neighbourhood approximately 20 minutes from the Disney parks. We really enjoyed our stay. The property was well equipped with a good stock of beach towels, kitchen utensils, games, DVDs, books, ponchos and much more. The beds were very comfortable and it really did feel like a home for us during our two week vacation from the UK. Gerry was a very responsive and caring host and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay and this, or one of his other properties in future.

Hakuna Ma'Cottage

Property was great! The place was clean and comfortable. The kids couldn't get enough of the private pool and air hockey table. The proximity to all the Orlando Parks was superb. We did a day at Gatorland, 4 days at Universal, and a day at Magic Kingdom. We only had 1 minor issue during our stay but the management company took care of it promptly. Quiet neighborhood, and close to many restaurants, we especially liked Slickies (for burgers and fries), and Giodanos (for deep dish pizza). Gerry was a great host and communicated promptly to questions. Overall, very satisfied.

Disney Trip

Property was nice, but unfortunately, we weren’t there much to take advantage of it…long days at Disney. Our son loved the pool table, air hockey, & Xbox, and our daughter loved the pool. Layout was great with the kids bedroooms on opposite side of house from master bedroom. Location of house was good for getting to Disney.

We stayed in Hakuna Macottage for almost two months. Gerry and his management team are terrific. We had no major issues but the tiny ones that came up were addressed quickly. We're very happy with our experience and would stay there again.
