The house itself was exactly as listed—clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and in a nice neighborhood. Unfortunately, everything else about our stay was stressful.We booked this home for a couples weekend celebrating two 40th birthdays and paid in advance for pool heat. Two days before arrival, we were told the heater was broken and couldn’t be fixed in time. The fee was refunded, but there was no realistic way to cancel or rebook at that point.Arrival was confusing. The gated entry required two different access passes before one finally worked, and the door code didn’t function, requiring a late-night call to get it reset. Inside, there were no washcloths—only towels and hand towels. When I asked, management said their “standard allotment” is one washcloth per bathroom, not per guest.The biggest issue came overnight. I parked in the driveway to unload luggage, not realizing the sidewalk runs through the middle of it. There were no visible signs or warnings. The next morning, our rental car was gone—towed—with no contact info posted at the house or in arrival materials. After hours of calls, we finally found the right number and paid 185 to retrieve it.Later, we were told nearly 20 cars were towed from this same neighborhood that night. Management offered sympathy but no real assistance, and the HOA never returned my call.Great house—but poor communication and hidden parking rules completely ruined the experience.
