Great spot for family vacation

Communication and clear instructions were given by owner in a very timely manner... Great location close to many attractions, shopping and supermarkets etc... Only con was we wished there was a welcome package of maybe something to eat as we arrived to the house after midnight feeling A bit hungry... Also supplies should be included in stay such as detergent to freshen bathrooms, extra toilet paper

Family trip!

Our family was in town to golf and go to Mecum’s Auto Auction. The location was perfect with plenty of places to eat and central to many activities. The owner was very quick to response to inquires! We would stay there again.

Overall a good rental - good location

We stayed there for 5 nights with 7 people. The bedroom configurations were perfect for our group. The place is as pictured, although smaller in reality. The showers all had good water pressure. We visited Disney parks and Universal which were not too far away from this location. Beds were standard comfort. Parking is for only 2 cars and is tight. We've stayed at other rentals that came better stocked with toilet paper, trash bags, liquid hand soap in the bathrooms, dishwasher soap, and detergent. Would have given this a 5 star ratings if those things were better stocked. We also found it annoying that even though there were 2 switches on the wall, only one controlled the power to the overhead light and fan. So you couldn't have one on without the other unless you some how were able to reach the pull chains. I think this would be an easy fix for an electrician. There is the torso of a mannequin in the bush outside the sliding door - very strange. Don't know if this has been there for a while or if the owner is even aware. We did not have time to utilize the pool so can't comment on that. We would consider staying here again in the future.

Weekend getaway

We had a nice stay at this Kissimmee condo located close to all the parks. It's nice having one bedroom/bathroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Nice Small private hot tub on back porch. Use caution....a racoon bothered us a few times at night while in the hot tub. The porch screen is torn and he can get in that away. Also make sure you bring extra supplies..... Toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags. Overall....this is a nice condo for the price.

Nice house BUT...

This is a nice home but we booked this place mainly because it had a private hot tub and it was broke for our entire stay. I spent hours looking for a place with a private hot tub for our dates and I even confirmed before booking that it was working. House was nice and had lots of space. It was clean; however, the kitchen counter had numerous little ants crawling all over it when we arrived and also in the bathroom on the main floor. Management had sent someone to spray twice but we choose not to put anything on the cupboard and used just the island for our food and such. Beds were comfy. The clubhouse pool was small and not heated but it wasn't busy which was nice. My husband tried the gym and said most of the equipment was either not working properly or first. Clubhouse bathrooms were not the cleanest. Hot tub and wading pool were nice at the clubhouse.

Considerations: - You may want to paint soon & fix laundry louvre door. - Heavy ant infestion even after the property was just treated (while we were there) - Patio was broken into...by the spa service guy while I was there! no notification by their service rep or the property manager. - Coffee cups were in the cabinet clearly used/not cleaned.

It was nice but it need maintenance and a good cleaning.

We arrived 30 minutes after check in. Housekeeping was still cleaning for another 30 minutes after we arrived. She left and said she was done. However the towels were left in the dryer, the floors were still dirty and the sleeper sofa was still pulled out. Maintenance arrived after housekeeping left. I thought housekeeping had called maintenance but she didn't. He asked "Why?" I explained and he got the sofa shut after cutting a bracket in two. He also tightened the door knob which was almost falling off. The next day, we tried to use the oven and it smoked up the whole house just preheating because it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Dishes were also put away dirty in cabinets. We washed everything we used before and after we used it. We found one pot that had a quarter inch thick of something that had been burnt in it. It was also put away. We decided to eat out for the rest of the stay. The dryer only worked on timed dry. The townhouse needs to be painted, cleaned GOOD and some general up keep done on it. On the plus side the microwave works good.

Disapointed, disapointing, but there was/is potential

On arrival the housekeeper advised us that there was a new management company taking over in a few days, and clearly the attitude was, "we lost the contract, so we can't be bothered." The unit was dirty, and poorly maintained. The walls, filthy and banged up, coffee maker not working, furniture badly stained, (we covered it with sheets to feel comfortable sitting on it), pots, and pans not usable, broken louvered doors, handle off another door, and missing and burnt out light bulbs, throughout the unit, shower curtains missing, blinds broken. The bed pillows were gross, unsanitary. Contacting the owner, we were advised to contact the new management company, and they were very responsive, as they could, bringing new pans, shower curtains, blinds, coffee maker, and light bulbs. The pillows were replaced. By day 5 the space was far more serviceable, with supplies by the new management company and cleaning by us. Still the hall walls in particular remain badly in need of attention, and the upholstered furniture desperately needs to be replaced. The complex needs attention as well. For the 38 days that we were there an overflowing trash bin by the playground was never emptied, the fitness room was filthy, broken treadmill, no air conditioning, dirty floor. On a walk around the grounds, you scenically pass a broken down golf cart, and old furniture thrown in the woods at the edges of the property. The location was great, convenient to every thing and the size, layout was good. The owner promptly responded when there was an internet/cable issue. The space needs significant attention.

it was great, we would stay again. The dryer is a bit slow and needs to run through twice to dry a load and the oven seems to need the temp checked as it is not cooking at the correct temp.

A beautiful place to enjoy time with family after hectic days in theme parks!!!

It is a very beautiful property centrally located. We were a family of 7 and we had ample space in the house for all of us. All the rooms were so perfectly themed especially children's rooms. The property was so well maintained and you definitely feel homely by the ambiance inside. It was a very nice experience staying here. Everything was so perfect. I would definitely com back to this place whenever I am visiting Orlando.

We enjoyed our stay

We were spending time at the townhouse with a new baby in the family, so were 'home' most of the month. Potential renters should know ahead of time that there is a limit of three cars that can be parked at the townhouse. This caused some issues for us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this townhouse. It was well-built, we never heard the neighbors through the walls, passing traffic was not really noticeable. The notes posted in the house were helpful (what to do with trash, parking, clubhouse key), though every one of them also had a warning on them that not following the rules was likely to cost us money. We liked the gated community. There was a sense of security. The community is a mixture of tourists and full-time residents. The townhouse was clean when we arrived though not spotless. There are some minor repairs needed, slats are missing on the washer/dryer doors and the door handle for the closet on the ground floor bedroom is missing. We would have like to have a security bar or additional lock for the sliding glass door. We cooked the majority of our meals there. The pots, pans, etc. were adequate. The oven, stove and microwave were fine. Although there were plenty of knives, all were dull. The plates, bowls, glasses, and silverware were excellent. We liked the jogging path, the community area, and the keyless access. We enjoyed the hot tub. A man came by and cleaned it twice while we were there. The most irritating issue we found is that the beds creak. A lot. Every time you move. Loudly. For us, this was a much better alternative to a hotel, even to an extended stay hotel.
