Check in process was a complete roller coaster. The sofa in the living room had stains on it, the master bedroom bed was broken, and the pool heater also did not work. The house is nice and the location is nice just wish it was a little nicer

Close to attractions--

The house was easy to find, and clean, but it felt like you were in a house that was being flipped but just wasn't quite finished yet. Paint spots on the walls--ALL the light fixtures in the bedrooms and living room had been taken out and replaced with a round metal piece on the ceiling, so none of the light switches worked only the lamps so it seemed darker in the rooms than usual. They did have lights over the bathroom sinks and the kitchen table. The master bedroom had a king size bed with a mattress that was hard as a rock--we had to purchase some pads to even be able to sleep on it without our backs hurting too much. As other reviews have said, the couch has no legs and sits on the floor so you almost fall trying to sit down because you're not used to it being so low. The pool area was nice, but has a screen door in the back that allows you to see through in that area--we had a guy standing on the outside of the screen taking pictures of us and the pool--So Weird!! Don't know what that was about but it didn't make us feel good, thankfully it was our last day. Also, we found several of the bowls and silverware to have food on them that were under others. It is adequate, close to attractions and in a gated neighborhood and nice enough.They really need to come in and finish what they started, add some lights and maybe get some new mattresses. Also, the dishwasher had been replaced.

Safety / Quality Issues

Property backed up convenience store and strip center, that had a not so great crowd. This coupled w/ security gate being missing a few hundred yards down the road, didn’t make us feel safe. The property also had poor furnishings: sofa had no legs (and was supposed to) master headboard broken, leak from sliding door in living room, reported - never fixed.

Storey Lake Spring break.

We enjoyed our stay. Only a couple of issues. They DO NOT provide any wash cloths. The house also gets very warm at night. You will also want to bring your own mini basketball for the pool hoop. The resort pool/ lazy River was nice but extremely busy. I understand this has nothing to do with the property or the owner. Just know to get there right at open if you want chairs!

I called early morning the day of our arrival. To find out about a possible early check in. Every time I called I was told”let me check with housekeeping and see what the status of the property is” They would put me on hold and after a brief wait They said: it’s not ready yet and can’t give you an answer regarding your early check in request. We arrived At 4 pm the check in time stated in my reservation. The property was not even touched and was very filthy. The kitchen was full of dirty dishes The dining room and table was also very dirty, food on the floor. Totally disappointed Do not use this property!!

Family vacation

There was plenty of room for everyone. It was nice to be right across the street from the park. The pool could use a light for at night but we had it heated and it was amazing because we could swim at night without being cold as the temp would drop to 66. Overall, it was very convenient with all kitchen accessories available and then some. If you like a lot of pillows, bring extra ;) Impressed with overall cleanliness as some places we have stayed in have a left over odor etc. The comforters/sheets, utensils/plates were very clean. Thank you and will definitely visit again.

Best Ever!

This stay was just what our family needed to reconnect. The resort facilities were excellent. The house was larger than anticipated and was a great place to hang out and reconnect. The staff at the resort was awesome!

Excellent Location to Disney/Stores/Restaurants

Excellent location to Disney/Stores/Restaurants— Spend the $ to heat the pool, it is so worth it! The host was super quick on communication and filled in all of the details —very pleased with the customer service. The house is in good condition but it is in need of a deep cleaning — so expect more of a “burn/turn” condition of the house. Good amount of space for a small family though- can’t beat the location across from the playground!

Location, Location, Heated Pool!

This is a great home near the back exit, across from a playground and close to the parking. Food in walking distant and easy access to everything. The best is the pool. It was 50 degrees outside and the pool was perfect. I do need to mention how great the property managers were. I never had to wait for a reply, they were always available and checked in with me regularly to ensure everything was good.

Good Value, Needs Work

This unit was a great size and value for our family. We love the location of the resort and the access to Hideaway cove. There is also a playground conveniently located in the front. The property manger was very responsive. On the down side, the furniture and finishes look great in the pictures, but the quality is on the low end. The unit can also use some paint touch-ups on the walls and some light bulbs replaced. The pool light wasn’t working during our stay, which was a bummer because we mostly used the pool at night. The view from the backyard isn’t the best. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the communication from the property manager, but the unit left a little to be desired.

Our Stay

The manager of the property was amazing and quick to respond every time I reached out! The pool was great and heated up to 90°F(add on). The kitchen had everything we needed and more The refrigerator was perfect, spacious with ice maker and water dispenser. We had access to the pool complex area as well which has 2 slides, lazy river and mini golf(additional price). It is close to Walt Disney World. They also have Roku systems in the master bedroom and another bedroom upstairs.

Wonderful place

The townhouse was very clean and updated. Only took about 7 minutes to get to Disney and very close to restaurants and stores . Would definitely recommend Storey lake resort
