Family Vaca 2024

Fantastic place for kids, cousins, siblings, parents, and grandparents to enjoy each other but still maintain personal space. The huge common rooms were lovely to gather in to plan our days or recap at the end of each day.

Disney Family Trip

The house was exactly as pictured and clean. We were a group of 13 and everyone had their own space. Check in process was seamless, and entry in to the house was simple. Any issues we had which weren’t many, was quickly resolved by calling Villatel. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Mythical Manor! The home was very beautiful and accurately depicted online. The resident staff was very attentive to our needs when we made requests for things needed at the property. We will be back!

Great house!

This house was great for four families! A ton of space for everyone to spread out! Pool was a little small but the house is attached to a wonderful resort that is a short walk away with a large pool, surfing, volleyball, bar/restaurant, etc! Couple problems at the house but Villatel sent someone out right away to fix. Great customer service! Would for sure come back!

The house was great! Plenty of room. Clean! The only disappointment was the bowling game upstairs. Pool was great, couldn't hear noise outside to much. We had a great family vacation. Thank you!

Terrible management.

We booked 1/11, about a month before our stay. Despite payment already going through, I received a message from Villatel saying due to booking “last-minute” I was required to text a picture of my photo ID and my credit card or reservation would be canceled. I expressed concern doing this through a non-secure form of communication and asked if they had a secure email. They didn’t have email equipped to adequately protect this information. I reluctantly sent the requested photos. They confirmed receipt. A few days later, they called requesting the photos again. I explained I had already sent and they again confirmed receipt. Finally, they called the morning of check in and left an email and voicemail threatening to cancel my reservation if I didn’t send the photos I had already sent. Once resolved,they still did not give me the entry code and were very difficult to get in touch to obtain access information. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find that many areas of the house were in disrepair. Broken trashcan, seat in the movie theater and leaking fridge (issues it appears that previous guests have brought to their attention). The arcade game was broken and although they claimed they would send a technician they did not during our stay. None of the remotes had working batteries it took two full days for them to actually bring batteries to make them work. We would not have been able to watch TV in the theater at all if we had not brought our own fire stick from home. They claimed that they brought batteries, but no one answered the door, which is absolutely untrue because we were home at the time they claim to have come. Terrible Wi-Fi signal. House appeared to have been surface level cleaned but very much in need of dusting and deep cleaning. Listing pictures showed a cozy couch near the pool and board games on the shelf in the game room but were not there. The comforters on the bed were paper thin. I asked management if there were any extra blankets, they said they don’t do that. The house furnishings were very low quality. Also, there is literally nothing for household items in kitchen (not even salt and pepper or cooking oil). The coffee filters provided were not the kind required for the coffee maker. Despite all this, the house was spacious and pool was very warm. Our children enjoyed the themed rooms, the theater and games that actually worked. Would not stay again as management was informed and made no attempt to make right.

Family Birthday Vacation

Villatel Village Mythical Manor was amazing! The resort is beautiful, the home was very beautiful and spacious! Unfortunately, we weren't able to use the dishwasher during our stay due to it having stagnant water and presence of mold. However, they did attempt to clean and fix it prior to our departure. Overall, it was a great stay! Everyone in our group enjoyed the house! And Villatel Customer Service were great to work with!

This property could have been SO MUCH MORE!

After researching and reading the reviews I felt confident when booking this property for a stay of five nights six days. Upon arrival it was sad to see it in such disrepair. I booked a couple extras: pool heat, grill, and crib (traveling with baby twins). Upon arrival one of the cribs was not in the house. Thankfully, they were able to drop one off that evening and they dropped off a third the next day, our first sign of a lack of communication with the management. On the second day of our stay I received a phone call saying that the pool heat was not working and they would be sending a tech to fix the problem. That same day we informed them that the dishwasher was not draining and the refrigerator was leaking. After a couple techs came and a full refund for the pool heat none of these issues were fixed buy the time we left four days later. Which meant very chilly dips in the pool for the kids, washing all the dishes by hand and a towel staying in front of the refrigerator. After spending months planning this vacation, the amount it cost to rent this property, and more than one family attending with us it was very disappointing to have this experience. Good times for a very expensive vacation. Some honorable mentions: House needs a good spring cleaning lots of dust on trim and huge cobwebs in corners ect. Trash can and water kettle were broken. Kitchen skillets needed to be replaced. No spices at all, not even salt and pepper. Curtains were off the track and looked sloppy. COMMUNICATION was fruitless and then annoying to have strangers coming in and around the house to “fix” problems. Broken chair in theater room Broken games. Remote would not work for Alexa making the theater room almost pointless. Lightbulbs burnt out making a terrible ambience for a mythical manor.

Nice house for family vacation

This house was in a great location, only 15-30 minutes to the Disney parks depending on which one. Universal was about 35 min away. So overall it's nicely located to most placed you'll want to go in the Orlando area. The pool and hot tub got nice and warm with the added heat, it was perfect! Plenty of space for our family and several siblings and their family's. The driveway is only designed to fit 2 cars, but the extra parking lot is directly across the street. The beds were all comfortable and plenty of bath and pool towels. We enjoyed our stay!

Soccer Tournament

This was a great house for part of our Travel soccer team with tournament at ESPN sports center which was 8 miles away. We had 8 boys and 7 adults. The boys loved the pool and media room. We watched the World Cup on the large screen. The boys and parents were in heaven. Grocery store was close and we cooked and ate in a lot due to size of group. We had pool heated and a grill available which was worth it. We would stay here again. The only thing which could be improved would be more comfortable couch. It was low to ground and deep with little back support. However that seems to be the new style. This place was huge bedrooms were plentiful and everyone slept great. Resort really nice with basketball and soccer fields!

Cross Country team

We had a high school cross country team stay at this location with the coaches and their families. It was an amazing place to stay and perfect for a group of about 20. We had a couple of small needs like getting help with the remotes in the cinema room and they were met very quickly. We had a blast and I have recommended this to a number of people since we left.

A+ stay!!!

Excellent stay from start to finish. Easy booking process, they called me directly when a payment failed to go through so I could take care of that. The house was amazing! We’ve stayed in several communities and this is one of our favorites! 20 min to Disney, back roads help avoid traffic, plenty of food and grocery options within 15 minutes, 7-11 gas station very close by. Easy check in process, ready on time. Pool and spa heat was excellent and ready for us from the first minute. We rented a grill and that was there when we checked in. Plenty of bedding and towels for everyone. Washing machine/dryer was simple but honestly worked the best of any I’ve ever had at a rental and we kept it running! Kitchen dishes (plates, cups, Utensils) we’re plenteous-so nice to have more than enough for our group. They didn’t have any casserole type dishes but I picked up a few foil pans to take care of that. They did have cookie sheets and plenty of pots and pans to meet our needs. Coffee maker worked good and we were thrilled to have ice and water filter on the fridge. The resort itself is very small but we loved that, felt homey. There was overflow parking directly across from the house which was nice for our two big vehicles. Easy 3 min walk to the clubhouse where you could use the fitness center/pool/basketball courts. Fitness room is small but well maintained. Some in our party wished it was accessible before 8am. The in house amenities were so, so awesome. TVs everywhere, the theater room was a huge hit! Loved darts, karaoke, wall scrabble, football, ping pong…we did some family tournaments throughout the week-so fun! The pool/spa area was wonderful! Bushes around it, no rear neighbors. Large table outside was nice for dinners. My only suggestion would be to have some directions for the TVs and the equipment in the theater room. It took our group awhile to figure everything out. Overall just a great experience. You won’t regret staying here.

Amazing house,

Our rental was amazing! It was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We all especially enjoyed the blackout shades in all the rooms. There was plenty of kitchen wear to cook our entire 6 nights. We were a group of 14 from age 6 to 73. There was space to spread out and three beds remained empty all weekend. Two of the teenagers got their own rooms which is unheard of on vacation. The neighborhood was clean and quiet even though it was a holiday weekend. We use sound machines. We never heard outside noise while we slept. I will absolutely be renting this house again for our next family reunion.
