Needs a facelift

Overall the house was fine and suited our needs, but the house is very tired looking. There were a lot of things with "Out of Order" signs on it. The gym was unusable as all of the equipment was out of order, the kitchen countertop was cracked in half and had a sharp edge to it. Upstairs was very warm, we had to buy extra fans to keep the bedrooms cool during our stay. Overall the house was fine, but I don't believe it was advertised well. The arcade room, sound system throughout the house and pool were the redeeming qualities.

We had an incredible experience at this Nice House. From the roomy and cozy accommodations to the entertaining play tables, darts, and games in the loft, our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The addition of a welcoming lobby was also a delightful touch. Overall, it was a perfect fit for our family's needs and desires.

Beautiful house. Needs attention.

We could not get the TVs to work. Had no WIFI. The theater rooms amazing....but our kids couldn't watch anything in it....we had someone come out and try and fix it twice. No luck, we were never able to get wifi or the TV to work. Also the shower in the Master needs some help. The rain head needs cleaned so it actually sprays on you. There are tons of shower options in there, but the temperature control doesn't work. Kids rooms were really cute, we loved the house, just really hard to not have any TV at all......that knocked out the gaming room as well as the theater room which had been big selling points for our kids.

Perfect house!

We were so glad that we splashed out the extra money for this lovely home. It was definitely worth it as there was plenty of room for our family and friends to gather in. The movie theater room was impressive, the kids loved playing all their games. This house was perfect - everything we had hoped for!

My Family just said "WOW" after visiting this villa. It was close to the airport, parks, and attractions. We loved the pool, large open kitchen/living area, entertainment room, and comfortable bedrooms. It is a large home that was perfect for us.

Orlando Luxury

We did an 11 day stay celebrating our 50 th Anniversary. With that in mind you have a chance to discover more of the things that might be broken than those on shorter stays. We did report all that we found and a Jeeves technicians responded fairly fast. However, the upstairs dryer control did not work and the “parts on order” answer…..well..not sure what to believe. With 25 people and pool towels and clothing to dry we needed all machines working. The downstairs dryer had to carry the load. Second was the exhaust not working on the BBQ. We grilled a lot and the “parts on order” answer didn’t solve the smoke problem. The ice maker in kitchen barely worked. The mattress bed out by pool needs to go to the dump. And the lighting for the jacussie did not work. And the shooting game in the game room always lost signal after about 2 minutes. Now….I will say this. The other amenities were great. All bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The pools was used extensively and was absolutely great. The bottom is a little rough on toes…but large and acccomodating. The jacuzzi was great and also used a lot. I am quite sure we never used half the televisions but the ones used were fine. It was a great trip and all agreed it was fun. A little attention to detail on the other thing I reported to Jeeves repair and it would be outstanding. Oh yes. The advertisement says garage, but we had no access. Also no access to elevator. It took quite a while to fiqure out the lighting controls to the back so some control info might be nice. With all this said, I would rent it again. Its a big and very nice place for an event like we had.

WORST VRBO Villatel Experience EVER! Pictures are MISLEADING! Terrible Client Experience! BEWARE!

We were so excited to stay at 500 Muirfield loop in Orlando over our kids winter break. The description, pictures and reviews of the house looked like it would the perfect vacation for our family. What we came into was anything but what was pictured or described. The online listing of this house was incredibly deceiving and misleading. Issues included: - Major construction directly next door from 7am-7pm was known and intentionally not disclosed, continuously disrupting our pool time and ability to relax outdoors. - Major disruptions to internet and cable (again, well known but not disclosed until at arrival). - The home was filthy. Our socks and feet were black from the uncleaned floors, we found old trash under beds, etc. - The home and furnishings are in poor condition. Badly stained carpets, run down furniture busting at seems, broken drawers, fallen knobs, etc. This is anything BUT a luxury home. I've stayed in nicer trailer parks. - The majority of the amenities had issues. Air conditioner was fixed day of arrival so the home smelled like mold, 30%+ of the arcade games were broken, Pool Cues & table were moldy/broken, movie theater couldn't play movies, cable and internet/wifi were down intermittently (known and not disclosed), Tvs were broken or wouldn't play. So ultimately we were stuck managing all their problems. Despite "policy" everyone showed up unmasked and unannounced. We though we were getting a beautiful luxury getaway home. What we got was a busted down, disgusting, outdated home that is marketed in a highly misleading way. Based on our conversations with managers, the owners and Villatel/VRBO are well aware of the shortcomings/issues with the home and clearly don't care. Although we had the promise of resolution and decent customer service with Jeeves, VRBO and Villatel all FAILED from a client experience perspective. False promises of returned calls, emails and texts, full lack of accountability, pass the buck mentality and when we attempted to escalate above the manager we were told "they do take customer calls". Absolute garbage attempt at any meaningful resolution. Their executive client experience team should be fired. For someone in the hospitality business, VRBO/Villatel mislead us as consumers and ultimately failed to provide quality client experience. We will NEVER use VRBO or Villatel again and we have encouraged are friends and family to avoid the service as well. Bottom line - BUYER BEWARE.
