We've stayed at other properties in Reunion but this stay was by far the worse experience. It should have been a better stay.
Property advertised with a private spa - except there is no heat for the spa May 1 through October. I even tried contacting the property management (Vacasa) prior to check in and was given the run around, told me I had to pay for it (which I did), told me it would be ready to go upon check-in, only to be told after check in that here is no heat for the spa.
At check in: The kitchen sink was clogged, it smelled, and the garbage disposal was not working. I called property manager (Vacasa) to have them come out and address it two days in a row, which no one ever came out to address the issue. So we had to use another sink to wash dishes for our entire stay. Then when we used the dishwasher, it exploded clogged food and grease out of the kitchen sink everywhere...and the kitchen sink was still clogged - just disgusting.
Not to sound like a Karen, but a lot of smaller issues: pots and pans with broken handles, the showers we used you could only set for scalding hot or cold (just need to replace the mixing valve cartridge, pretty simple), broken toilet paper holder, refrigerator filter needed to be replaced (water trickled out) all the games in the game room had issues - broken paddles, broken leg on the foosball table, broken air hockey table. The projector worked but you couldn't plug anything in to the input, so you couldn't watch anything on it.
Honestly if the property manager put in a just little more effort into maintenance and did a better job of setting the expectation with the private Spa (even after I called their customer service number prior to check in) this would have been a much better experience - but we will not be returning to another property managed by Vacasa.
