Great Family Home

We had a great stay in this very clean home.It was very central to everything in the area.we had everthing in the home that we needed to make our stay comfortable.The kids really enjoyed the pool and and hot tub.They also had a great time in the game room which had plenty to do to keep them busy.Tom was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive.We will definitely be back again next year!!

Derry Stay

The property was great for our stay in Davenport! We really enjoyed the pool area and lanai. A few things that could use a little upgrading…including flooring on the main level and perhaps new kitchen cooking utensils such as fry pans. Tom was very responsive to our needs and concerns! Thanks a bunch!

Most hospitable host in Orlando!

My family and I were in town to go go to Disney World and visit family and had a great experience. I felt at home and really appreciated the cleanliness. I felt like everything was taken care of to accommodate our stay! Will definitely book again!

Don’t stay here they have cameras

We were threatened for complaining to VBO The house was dirty my mother in law tripped on the lifted carpets that are everywhere the hot tub was dirty and had brown sludge the pool had mold. People were over making repairs while we stayed there they had key code to the door and let themselves right in there was a man in the house while my sister showered and was getting ready she did not know that there was a man in the house until she came downstairs she freaked out I complained and he sent me a message back his name is Tom stating that he will have vbo take me off and close my account He accused me of stealing sheets when in fact I had washed them because my son was sick and I told the cleaning lady that they were in the wash on my way out He claimed we had more people in the house because every bed was slept in By the way my first night I spent it washing the sheets to all the beds because they were dirty We were charged a fee for cleaning and with that I cleaned the house anyway Tom has told me that he is charging me an extra $599.00 so be carfulwhen u stay here

We stayed in this home from 7/2/22-7/9/22...Home was nice.Owner does respond to messages promptly.Jacuzzi was dirty.Make sure you read your contract thoroughly.There are cost to heat pool & Jacuzzi.Pool water was warm enough with out paying extra cost.There was also a hot water restriction we weren't aware of upon arrival.Husband & I ended up taking cold showers after traveling 8+ hours & running around.Owner did remove restriction once asked about hot water the next morning.We thought the hot water heater had broke.Over all not to bad.I wouldn't stay here again.

Great house

Stayed a week here for Disney/Universal vacation with family of 6 (4 teens and early 20’s). Pool was a big hit on the days we didn’t hit the parks as were pool and ping pong tables. Very clean and convenient to Disney, 40-50 minute drive to Universal. Grocery and restaurants (mostly chain) less than 10 minutes away. Pre-trip communication was excellent and really didn’t need anything while we were there. Recommended.

Great family house

Very good stay at very nice home. Trip was near ideal and home was part of that. Only negatives were door to pool area was pretty tough to open and pool was not heated very well. With the Orlando area heat though wasn't an issue at all. If looking for orlando area with potential short gulfside travel this house is near perfect for a family. We could have easily and comfortably slept 10. And pool table and ping pong were very popular!!!!

Great house perfect location

First off the house and owner Tom are amazing. We loved the house, pool area was perfect for relaxing also has nice plants and bushes around pool for some decent privacy in the pool area that a lot of rentals in the area do not offer. Great location for food and shopping as well as short drive to the major parks.

Annual golf trip

We are senior men who have been to Davenport for our annual golf week for over 25 years. Tom’s villa is located in a great area close to many courses we play. It is also well located for restaurants or any other shopping you need. The house was spacious for us and we always look for a hot tub. The tub was great as we love using it both before and after golf. Access was made easy by Tom who was very responsive to our questions both prior and during our stay. We would highly recommend Tom’s villa to anyone who is looking for a nice home in the area for golf or a family looking for a large home close to Disney.

We had a great time!

When we arrived the house was just as described and pictured. The home is quite spacious and the pool area is perfect for alfresco dining. After our exhausting days at the parks the stand alone hot tub was wonderful for relaxing tired muscles. The weather was sunny, unseasonably warm and humid, so the pool was a refreshing respite on the days we did not go out. We had major issues or problems, but the homeowner was quick to respond to inquiries. The only complaint we have is we are accustomed to a cooler temperature inside our homes, so being unable to adjust the thermostat below 72° made the upstairs a little stuffy. If we travel to the Orlando area again, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Tom for having such a lovely home and allowing us to enjoy it!

Absolutely Beautiful

We had some concerns prior to arrival based on the previous negative review, however the home was exactly as shown and immaculately clean! Communication with the owner was excellent, usually had a response within minutes. There were a few very minor issues that were quickly dealt with. The owner had a new pool light installed during our stay and the kids loved it. The hot tub was also amazing after those long days at the parks! Would defiantly stay here again!!

Nice, clean home...just needs a little TLC in some areas. Thermostat doesn't go below 73 degrees. Had I known this ahead of booking, I would've choose a different place to stay. Enjoyed the heated pool. Quick response from owner and management team when needed.

Stay With Caution

First, I start by saying that we have rented extensively in the Orlando/Davenport, FL area for over the last 10 years. Therefore, we are well-experienced with the area. Never has any property been a total disaster, and although this property was on the worst side of our rental experiences, it was not a total disaster though I warn anyone considering this property to proceed with extreme caution for the following reasons: 1. Communication with the property manager/owner was poor. He did not keep to the 24 hour return. It sometimes took weeks before the rental, and he did not respond to issues after day 1 during the rental. 2. The owner rations heated water, air conditioning, and lights. As stated in previous feedback from other renters, there were problems with having enough hot water, the air conditioning unit is set to go no lower than 73 degrees, and the recessed lights in the downstairs kitchen seem to be on some sort of timer. 3. The property was really dirty and broken down. Aside from the fact that property is older and needs updating, the main issue is that it had not been cleaned properly in seemingly quite a long time. Here is a list of just some of the issues: a. the carpets were stained and not cleaned or vacuumed b. the pool area was really dirty—the patio could use a good pressure washing, and there were three piles of dirty pool toys c. the linoleum in the kitchen was torn and dirty d. the toilet in the downstairs bath, the kitchen sink, and the primary room on-suite bath sink all leak d. there was feces on the tub in the downstairs bath e. the patio door seems to swell and does not open easily f. the alarms are not functioning properly g. there were cigarette butts in a drawer in the primary bedroom h. there was lots of dust and lint throughout the home (behind the washer and dryer, above the doors, in corners) j. there is mold around the bathtub in the downstairs bath k. we were told to stay off the lawn as one of the rules of the house, yet there was very little grass—mostly weeds—the yard had not been tended The owner could be more attentive as well as less concerned with how much utilities people use. If he cannot afford to allow people to have hot water, set the AC to their comfort, and run the lights within reason, he should not rent his property.

Great stay!

This property is in a great location. The home was clean and very spacious. The owner was responded promptly to any issues (minor). The check in and check out process went smoothly. We did not utilize the pool. Overall we really enjoyed the stay.

Amazing!

I cannot say enough good things about this property, the cleanliness and atmosphere felt like a resort but with the feeling and privacy of being home. The house was beautiful and big enough for a large group but still felt homey and comfortable, the area was quiet and very well kept and the pool was the centerpiece of our trip, it was the perfect temperature and plenty big enough for our family. We absolutely loved the property and everything was just a short drive away. We went on several outings to the parks and beach but by far our favorite time in Orlando was just staying at the house and having fun, 10/10 definitely recommend to anyone, especially for the cost, you won’t find a better property to rent hands down!!!

Orlando savior

I found this listing after another planned rental fell they 5 days before arrival. Tom and his team saved the day. Put me at ease a d made the trip great. Everything was as promised and better. The communication was first rate even from his home in England, including some amazing activities locations And ideas. Not named Disney . I’ve rented many places on vrbo over the years. This was the best for a lot of reasons. Most of all the actually give a hoot about their clients. Next time back I. Orlando. This is where I will stay.

Great home in a great neighborhood

Communication with the owner and property manager were top notch and solutions were promptly handled to any problem. Never did get the pool heated to a minimum tolerable temperature but I suspect it had to do with the abnormally cold nighttime temps. Would highly recommend.
